After a tiring day yesterday and the creation of my clan - Society of Makers, I had initially decided to take a break from questing. However, when I saw the list of quests this morning, I couldn't help but choose a few quests to do. After quickly scanning the quests on the quest board, I decided to choose the E-rank quests: bring one ice crystal and slay 15 kobolds, D-rank quests: slay 1 unicorn and collect 3 yeti skin, and the C-rank quest: slay 3 ice golems. Satisfied, I went to the reception table to notify the quests I will be taking for the day. Looking around, it seems that all the receptionists are busy. At the corner of my eye, I caught sight of the guildmaster. Since the guildmaster can also do receptionist work, I approached him and told him of the quests I will be taking.
After getting the approval of the guildmaster, I left the guild and headed towards the tavern. Entering the tavern, I bought some food, water, and alcohol supplies. With these supplies stored in my bag, I turned and got ready to leave. At the door, I remembered that PK did not return my Werewolf Mask to me. Thinking about that, I remembered the troubles I encountered yesterday because I did not have the Werewolf Mask. So, I went up to PK and cast "Plunder". With a swipe, my Werewolf Mask appears in my hand. Placing the mask back in my bag, I strode out of the tavern. Looking at my map, I determined where I will go first.
Hmmm, ice golems and yetis can be found in the snow mountains in the far east. Ice crystals can be found from many different sources. I recall that in the far east, there is a village of snow children (similar to yuki-onnas) located somewhere on the snow mountains. Snow children are harmless creatures who help lost travelers find their way out of the mountains. Blood from snow children can become ice crystals as soon as they are exposed to the air and freezes solid. I don't really like killing harmless creatures, but I also don't want to fail an easy quest.
Unicorns are found in the forest to the west. Now, contradictory to popular belief, unicorns are not harmless creatures like they were depicted in stories. Unicorns can be considered as picky...they only allow virgin women to approach them. Anyone else, they will view as enemies and should be killed. Unicorns are considered prideful and intelligent. However, from the accounts of experienced hunters, I know that if I can succeed in angering the unicorns, then they will make rash actions. This weakness can be taken advantaged of. As for kobolds, well, they reside in the grasslands in the north. Most kobolds live in packs of 15-20 and have been at war with other kobold packs for quite some time now.
After considering my routes, I decided to head to the snow mountains....
..........
After three hours of walking, I arrived at the foot of the snow mountains. Snow mountains...are justly named - the entire mountains are covered in deep snow. Since it was getting closed to lunch time, I decided to take a break. I found a medium-sized rock, wiped the snow off, and sat down. Rummaging through my bag, I pulled out a bottle of water and some food. While I ate, I kept having a bad feeling...that I should be prepared in case something happened. After I finished my food, I took out a bottle of rice wine and poured a vial of condensed Rhino blood. I shook the bottle to evenly mix the solutions. Done...Rhino Blood Wine complete. With this wine, I will have a source of stamina replenishment. Not only does the wine replenish lost stamina, but also temporary boosts strength and vitality. After finishing making the wine, I placed the bottle back in my bag and got up to leave.
Suddenly, a ear-piercing wail erupted into the air. Turning around, I tried to find where the wail was coming from. Though I could still hear the wail, I could not see where the sound was coming from. Listening closely with my ears, I followed the sound. As I approached closer to the source, the wails intensify and sounds of battle can be heard. I pressed on and turned at a corner. There, I saw four adult white furred yetis surrounding a baby black furred yeti. The baby yeti was crying beside a corpse...that looked like a female yeti. At first, I thought that the adult yetis were consoling the baby yeti for the loss of his mother. But upon closer look, I see the adult yetis were shoving and slapping the baby yeti. With a ding in my mind, I realized that the adult yetis must have killed the mother of the baby yeti - a feud between two tribes of yetis maybe?

*EEEEEEEEEEE* I looked up and see one of the adult yetis raise his fist preparing to strike the cowering baby. Feeling righteous, I sprang into action. Knowing full well that I cannot take on four adult yetis at once, I decided to use some devious tactics...which some people would consider "cowardly." However, according to me, anything can and should be used in order to gain an upper hand in battle. My loud footsteps notified the yetis of my presence. They turned to look at me and roared at me as if to say "You looking to die?!" As I neared the yetis, I took out a mask - the Mask of the Sleepy Knight. Putting on this mask, I immediately summoned Shiyo.
"Napknight, cast Absolute Sleep on those four yetis!" I exclaimed.
*SILENCE! PILES AND PILES OF F***ING SILENCE!*
The four yetis were looking at me in confusion. I turned around and looked at Shiyo...this idiot is curled up on his pillow asleep.... I walked up to Shiyo, bend down close to his ear, and said "El and Orphellia are here...."
"GGGAAAAHAAHHAHAAAAHH!!!" Shiyo screamed awake. His face seemed to have aged a few years.
"Relax Napknight, they're not here." I assured, "I need your help. Can you cast Absolute Sleep on those yetis over there?"
Shiyo glared at me and muttered some curses. He gave a half-assed wave towards the yetis and muttered the Absolute Sleep spell. Then, with a poof, he disappeared. Ignoring his attitude, I nodded in satisfaction. I turned to look at the four sleeping yetis...only to find three of them snoring on the ground. Where's the fourth? Well, after he saw the other three suddenly dropped to the ground, the fourth yeti turned tail and ran in panic.
Seeing the retreating yeti, I shrugged. "Oh well. At least there's still three left. With their skins, I can fulfill the quest requirements."
I walked up to the baby yeti who was nudging his mother's body and observed his appearance. Turns out, this yeti looked entirely different from the other yetis. Realization struck me. Ah, so that's what happened. Mother protects baby even though baby looks different from others. Other yetis hate difference and thus tried to attack and kill baby. The mother must have defended and was killed. Poor baby! I reached towards the baby and after a few minutes, I was able to assure him that I wasn't a bad person and calm him down. The baby yeti got up and ran off. He paused a moment and seemed to urge me to follow him. So, I followed.
After walking for a distance, I see another body...it seems to be the baby's father. Oh, not a corpse, the father seems to be alive but barely breathing. Because I am not a specialist in medicine, I could not save the father. As I approached, the father looked at me and said a few words. I was able to understand some parts as I had learned the language of the Sasquatch, which was similar to the language of the Yeti. The words I was able to understand were something about taking care of the baby. Using Sasquatch language, I tried to assure the father yeti that I will take care of his baby. The father yeti nodded a bit, letting me know that some words must have gotten through. With a small heave, the father died. The wailing baby yeti finally couldn't take the stress of losing both his parents and fainted from exhaustion.
I buried the father yeti and the mother yeti together. Afterwards, I walked towards the sleeping yetis and removed their faces. Man...Absolute Sleep is so OP. Even with the pain from having their faces removed, the yetis are still fast asleep. After preserving the faces and storing them in my storage ring, I killed the three yetis. Then, I brought the corpses into my Maker's Domain and began to work. First, I used the basic Bloodletting Technique and drained the yetis of their blood - storing them in a barrel. Next, I skinned them and stored the skin. Then, I deboned and separated the flesh from the organs. The organs are dried and ground to fine powder and stored in a barrel. Done with the task, I deactivate my Domain and walked to the unconscious baby yeti. I picked up the baby and continued up the mountains.
