New quests are available today. I decided to choose three B-rank quests while I wait for my promotion quest to be determined. After choosing the three quests, I showed it to the guild receptionist to await his approval. The guild receptionist looked at the quests and nodded his head, "Establish trade with Dragonmen Village - granted, Gather Morian's Essence from plants - granted, and Sink one Pirate ship - granted. Here you go, take care."
I took back the copies of the quests and headed out the guild door. I sent a mental transmission to Blackie who quickly flew over. I jumped on Blackie's back and we flew east towards the Rainforest Vale. Upon arriving near the Jungle Lord's Abode, I could immediately sense the disturbances in the trees using my skill - Flow of Trees. It seems that this evil immortal Morian is the true cause of the disturbances in Nature that had roused and angered the Eastern Treants. I could visually see the vitality or life essence of the plants and trees be invaded by an unknown essence. This unknown essence must be Morian's Essence.
I don't have any skill to extract Morian's Essence without damaging the plants and trees; however, if I open my Maker's Domain, all Nature enveloped by the domain is under my control. So, I activated my domain and expanded the domain to its highest. A huge area filled with plants and trees were covered - about 10 meter radius. Using the skill Flow of Trees, I was able to distinguish the Morian's Essence from the life essences of the plants and trees. While inside the domain, I began extracting the Morian's Essence until all of Morian's Essence were extracted from the enveloped area. Then, I condensed the essence so much that it liquefied. Then, I fill the liquid Morian's Essence into a vial - filling one vial.
I continue this process until I was able to fill 30 vials. After extracting as much Morian's Essence as I can contain, I jumped on Blackie and flew north towards the Dragonmen Village in the Ash Plains.

After half an hour of flying, we reached the outskirts of the Dragonmen Village. Before we entered the village, I decided to increase my and Blackie's resistance to fire as well as our fire-related attacks. Once we landed, I opened up Maker's Domain and took out the following items: lots of Obsidian Worms and lots of Lava Fish. I take all the Obsidian Worms that I have and dried and ground them to powder. Then, I dried and ground the Lava Fish into powder as well. Next, I mixed the two powders and add a barrel of Wyvern Blood. Then, I added a few drops of my blood filled with Maker's Essence. After chanting incantations and condensing the blood powder mixture, I was able to produce a small sized ball of mixture. Then, I evenly split the ball into two small pills. After a few more incantations, I finished refining the pills. I ate one and refined the pill - after years, I was able to completely absorbed the pill's effects. My capabilities increased and anything fire-related (whether attacks or resistances) have increased significantly...almost tripled. Satisfied, I deactivated the domain and fed the other pill to Blackie. Like me, after Blackie finished cultivating the pill, his capabilities and fire-related effects increased significantly.
After we finished preparing, we entered the village. The heat of the location was strong but because of our resistance, we didn't feel any harm. As we entered the village, Dragonman guard came up to me and told me to stop. He looked at me up and down and asked if I was an Adventurer, which surprised me because he was speaking in Common Human Language - though not entirely fluent but still understandable. When I said yes, he told me to wait while he report to the Chieftain. A few minutes later, the guard came back and told me to come in to the Chieftain's house. Upon arriving at the Chieftain's house, I see an old Dragonman with big silver wings and gray beard.
This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.
"Are you from the same group as that Dragon hybrid who was here a few days ago?" The Chieftain asked.
"You mean Alliuna? Yes, I am." I replied.
"Really? Welcome. What can we do for you?"
"I was told by Alliuna that you had interest in trading with Adventurer City. But because she was short on time, the details were not discussed. So, I came instead to establish trade."
"That's great...and what about the other requests we asked?"
"Oh yes, there will be other adventurers who will come and help you with that situation. For now, let's discuss trading. What can your village offer to trade? And what do you want to trade in return?"
"We can offer Dragon scales, tears, blood, etc. I heard that they are considered as valuable resources. In return, we would like to advance our society with crafted items, medicine, and technology. Will you agree to these terms?"
"Hmm, okay. It's a deal. Now sign this contract and will be trading partners." I replied as I gave the Chieftain a contract. After he signed the contract, I thanked him using the Language of the Dragons as my way of thanking him with respect.
"You know the Language of the Dragons?" The Chieftain asked in surprise.
"Yes, I learned it a long time ago."
"Haha, it's been a while since I heard this beautiful language...and so fluent too. Nowadays, the Dragonmen can only speak a mixture of Dragon Language and Human Language. I must thank you for letting me hear that language once more."
"Is that so? You're welcome. If you want, I have a book here that teaches the basics of the Language of the Dragons."
"Really? I can really have it? Haha, thank you so much. Here, accept this book. It may be of help. This is to show my gratitude and further increase of friendship."
"No problem." I replied as I received the book. I looked at the title and it said: Dragon's Roar. This book is apparently a fighting technique developed by a Dragonmen ancestor. "Thank you. I'll use it well. Haha, in a way, we have already done our first trade."
"Haha, you're right."
After we finalized everything and celebrated the establishment of trade between Adventurer City and Dragonmen Village with a feast, I jumped on Blackie and flew southeast.

As we flew towards the Treacherous Port, I looked at the last quest - sink one pirate ship...easy enough. After around 15 minutes, we arrived at the ocean. Near the port, I see a pirate ship. Sneaking up towards the pirate ship, I told Blackie to use Cry of the Nightingale towards the ship. After the wave of Darkness-type sound attack hit the ship, screams of pain and confusion resounded the sky. Every pirate onboard the ship received the mental attacks and collapsed. Then, I cast a few fireballs at the ship, burning the ship and sinking the ship to the bottom of the ocean. After finishing this easy quest, we flew back towards the guild and submitted the quest completions.
