After choosing some more quests to do while waiting for my A-rank promotion quest to be determined, I jumped on Blackie and flew south towards the Sand Desert. My first destination is the Redon Cave where the four meter long Poison Maggots are. My first quest is to slay 3 of them. Now poison is a tough element to deal with. I don't have poison immunity nor do I have poison protection; however, I do have heat and heat is know to denaturize poison into harmless substances.
Once I reached Redon Cave, I got of Blackie and told him to wait for me outside. Then, I strode inside. After walking a couple of meters down the tunnel, I see a huge Hard Beetle roaming about. Not wanting to be seen, I grabbed my Ghost Mask and transformed into a ghost. Then, I turned invisible and continued onward. After a while and tens of Hard Beetle encounters, I finally see my first Poison Maggot. I switched my Ghost Mask with my Mask of the Fiery Demon and started firing fireballs at the Poison Maggot. The Poison Maggot screeched in pain and tried to put out the fire on its body. But because the fire is fueled with the Flames of Wrath, it cannot be put out and will continue to burn and spread. The Poison Maggot called for help as it continued to stubbornly squirm around as if it could squirm away from the fire.
Two more Poison Maggots came out of who knows where and charged towards me. I looked at the two maggots and Dragon Stomped in their direction. The ferociousness of my stomp shook the floors causing the Poison Maggots pause their movements as they tried to stabilize themselves. While they stopped, I threw two more fireballs at the maggots, catching them on fire as well. Minutes later and endless screeching of pain, the three Poison Maggots finally died. I wondered about why there wasn't anymore Poison Maggots coming to help, but then I remember that Alliuna was here and destroyed their Queen. That's why there are only a few Poison Maggots left. Finished, I prepared to leave, however, I see the slime on the floor that the Poison Maggots left behind and decided to collect it. I scooped up the poison slime into a jar and then left the cave quietly.
I jumped up on Blackie and flew east to the Rainforest Vale. Flying all the way to the furthest east of Rainforest Vale, we arrived at the Witches' Coven. They were on guard and suspiciously looked at us while we landed.
One witch came up to me and asked, "Who are you and why have you come here?"
"My name is Khaos and this is my friend Blackie. I'm an adventurer and I have come to deliver ingredients to you guys." I introduced.
"Oh, I see." The witch replied as her expression softened upon hearing what my purpose was.
Once I handed the ingredients to the witch, the witch thanked me and then I left. Nothing more to this...just a simple delivery.
..........
After flying towards north at a nice pace, we finally arrived at the Ash Plains...more specifically, the Fire Giant Camp. We landed at a location a distance away from the camp. I told Blackie to hide in the clouds and only come out when I call for him. Seeing Blackie soar to the skies again, I started walking towards the camp. When I got close, I pulled out my Ghost Mask and turned invisible. Moving closer, I overheard some Fire Giants conversing.
"Those damned Frost Giants! This time we will wipe them all out!" Fire Giant A said.
"That's right, they won't know what's coming." Fire Giant B smirked.
The Fire Giants and the Frost Giants have been enemies for many years. The hatred between these two Giant species is so deep that there has never been a compromise between the two and it is always "kill on sight" when they see each other. Realizing that the Fire Giants are preparing to send out a band of warriors to attack and raid the Frost Giant camp, I thought up of an idea...a "kill two birds with one stone" type of idea. I took of my Ghost Mask and boldly walked out into the clearing. When the two Fire Giants saw me, they immediately raised their weapons and shouted at me to stop.
"Halt, who are you? Are you an enemy?" Fire Giant B shouted.
"Calm! I mean no harm!" I exclaimed as I raised both my hands in the air to show that I am unarmed.
"A human eh...what are you doing here?" Fire Giant A asked.
"I'm on my way to kill some Frost Giants, but I got lost."
"Frost Giants? Why are you killing Frost Giants?" Fire Giant B asked curiously.
"Those damned sissies killed my family. I swore upon my life to wipe out all Frost Giants. That's why I spent years learning fire magic." I growled as I demonstrated my prowess in fire magic.
The Fire Giants nodded as they seem to believe that I was telling the truth. Their weapons lowered a bit. It seems I have gained some of their trust by playing with their weakness - their hatred towards Frost Giants.
"When I heard that there was a Frost Giant camp around here, I immediately set out to wipe them out." I continued. "You...you guys won't kill me because of this...would you?"
"We are enemies of those Frost Giants as well. However, killing you or not will depend on our leader. You wait here while I report to the leader." Fire Giant A replied as he ran off towards the biggest tent in the camp.
Minutes later, he came back, "Leader wants to talk to you. It seems he's spared you...for now." Fire Giant A replied.
I nodded and followed the two Fire Giants to the Leader's Tent. Upon entering, I could sense an intense amount of killing intent showering over me.

"So you wish to wipe out all Frost Giants from existence? What's your name?" A voice boomed.
"Yes! It is my only purpose to live. I'm called John Doe and I'm a pretty good Fire Mage. Please let me live so I can fulfill this obsession of mine!" I hurriedly answered.
"Hmm, very well. I can let you live and even let you kill some Frost Giants with us...however, if I see any funny movements coming from you, I will personally kill you."
"You don't have to worry! As long as I can kill some Frost Giants, I'll follow your every command."
"Good. Follow me." The leader smiled and then he got up and left the tent while I followed close behind.
Once outside, the leader boomed, "Warriors! It is time to slaughter! It is time to raid! Let's us bath in the blood of our enemies - the Frost Giants!"
"Huaahghghhhhh!" All Fire Giants cheered.
Afterwards, the leader told the rest of the Fire Giants that are participating in the raid that I will be fighting with them. We prepared ourselves and marched north towards the Frost Giant camp. About half an hour later, we see the enemy camp in sight. With weapons raised, we charged towards the camp. The Frost Giants, hearing our roars, were caught by surprise. Although many were able to bring out their weapons to fight, some of the nearest Frost Giants perished with our charge.
I charged forward and Dragon Leap towards a Frost Giant. The booming landing of my leap shook the floors and cause many Giants to fall. Then, I headed towards the nearest Frost Giant and used Dragon Palm on him. The palm attack hit and Dragon Essence penetrated the body, causing ruptures of the internal organs. The Frost Giant died minutes later, blood leaking from his mouth. Another Frost Giant charged towards me and threw a punch in my direction. I used Tail Guard and blocked the punch, pushing his fist away. Then, I pulled out my skinning knife and removed his face. Preserving and storing the face, I then slit the giant's throat and ended his pain. After killing two Frost Giants, I decided to slow my pace down and observe quietly. The battling giants seemed to ignore me partially due to my size making me hard to be noticed and mainly due to their hatred towards each other thus prioritizing each other as primary targets. As I watched the battle continue, both sides lost many casualties but it seems that the Fire Giants are losing more.
While they were occupied, I caught sight of a wounded, fallen Frost Giant. It was crawling back towards camp. Curious, I followed him into a tent. Looking around, it seems to be a storage site. The wounded Frost Giant was rustling through a box. What he brought out were Eternal Ice shards! What is he going to do with those? The Frost Giant's next action answered my question. The Frost Giant applied the shards onto his wounds, which absorbed the Ice Essence and thus healing his wounds. Before he completely healed his wounds, I decided to make my move. I leaped forward and stabbed through his neck with my skinning knife. As the Frost Giant collapsed and tried to pull the knife out, I Dragon Bite at his face...tearing part of his face off. After suffering from blood loss and lack of oxygen, the Frost Giant died. I pulled out my knife and stored the corpse. Then, I looted the storage. There were food, medicine, good quality weapons, furs, leather, metal ores, crystal ores, and 50 Eternal Ice. After storing all the valuable stuff into my bag, I cast a few fireballs and set the tent on fire. Then, I exit the tent just in time to hear the remaining Fire Giants sounding a retreat. I followed the Fire Giants in their retreat while the Frost Giants were struggling to put out the eternal fire.
After we were halfway between the Frost Giant camp and the Fire Giant camp. We stopped to take a rest. Everyone of the remaining five Fire Giants were wounded...none of them had light wounds. While they were resting and ignoring my existence, I grinned evilly as my eyes flashed with killing intent. I Dragon Leap into the middle of their cluster, stunning the wounded Fire Giants who didn't have the strength to steady themselves. All five Fire Giants collapsed onto the ground. In their moment of surprise, I removed the faces of two Fire Giants and slit the throat of another one. As the remaining two tried to get up and fight, I Dragon Stomp towards them causing them to stumble and bend forward. Taking advantage of this, I jumped into the air and Dragon Horn the nearest one in the chin. Because of my perfection of the Dragon's Roar technique, the Dragon Horn packed a really strong punch. The attack to the Fire Giant's chin obliterated his lower jaw. As he collapsed backwards, I used Flying Dragon Kick like a dive kick towards the face of the fallen Fire Giant. When my kick landed, his head exploded. Then, I Dragon Stomp on the ground again to destabilize the other Fire Giant. When, I saw him sat on the ground. I Dragon Palm his chest. The force coupled with Dragon Essence ruptured his lungs and obliterated his bones. Within seconds, the Fire Giant died. After killing three Fire Giants, I stored their bodies. Then, I looked at the remaining two who were still holding their faceless heads. Using Flow Like Wind, I appeared in front of them. With a swipe of my skinning knife, I slit both their throats. Then, I stored their bodies as well.
Finished with all five of the quests, I called for Blackie and then I headed home to the guild to report my quest completions.
