Humans

My name is Azriel, the man standing behind me is my trainer Giles, the guy i’m sparring with is luka and the person yelling “hit him” is ari. I should probably tell you how I got here in the first place huh? Well is all started-

“Hey, I remember you!” Ame shouted before Trixy shoved his head back down. The four Breakers all turned in their direction.

“Haud yer wheesht!” She hissed out under her breath.

Trixy stopped holding him down once she noticed the humans eyes on them. Ame and Trixy stared back at them for a moment, Trixy then slowly turned her head towards Ame. She just gawked at him until he turned to meet her eyes. It was a sword swung between them that snapped them out of it. It was one of the humans, he was young, probably about the age of Ame and Trixy, he had shaggy dirty blond hair and blue eyes, he had one visible scar, it was over his left eye as one small clean line.

Trixy leaped back, she had grabbed Ame’s wrist so he was dragged along with her movement. The human started coming at them once again, he slashed his sword towards Trixy’s head, she quickly ducked and dodged it. Ame who was standing in front of Trixy, back to the breaker jabbed his elbow back into the boy. He let out a strangled breath and doubled over. Ame turned around to face him, “Wha are you doing?! You’re a breaker you’re supposed duh help people nah sar fighs!” he scolded.

The boy just looked at him in confusion. Ame was staring at him in disbelief, Trixy was behind him, still confused at how they ended up in this situation.

“Hey kid, you know that's a demon right, you need to come over here. Don’t worry we’ll make sure it doesn't bother anyone ever again” The oldest human yelled out, he had his weapon at hand.

Ame was only just starting to process why they were so quick to attack, it was Trixy.

He quickly unsheathed his sword. He had an unwavering scowl across his face. Trixy looked around between each human before letting out a sigh and grabbing her skeggøx from her hip holster.

The older human looked at him in shock. Ame had almost forgotten about the boy in front of him in favor of staring down the older human, Trixy did not. She lunged forward at the human boy, who in return brought his sword up to try and deflect Trixy. The boy tried to force the ax out of Tixys hands but failed miserably. Trixy made a circular motion that unarmed the human boy. She brought her axe up to his neck holding him in place, she turned the both of them into the view of the older human. The man paused and gave her a look of shock that quickly morphed into anger. He planted his feet, he was about to start charging at them before they all turned their attention to a voice.

“Aye! Knock it off!” It was one of the other two humans that had been silent the whole interaction. While the human was distracted Trixy shoved the boy forward before kicking him even farther. The boy falling caught the other breaker's attention once more. She quickly grabbed Ame’s wrist and slowly took a few small steps backwards before high tailing it. She hadn't the faintest clue which way she was going or where she was trying to go. She just ran ignoring Ame’s protests.

Once they finally stopped, Trixy folded over gasping for breath. The sun had started to set. Ame looked over at her practically panting.

“I-...I’m sorry” he gasped, “ I should've been more careful.”

Trixy looked up at him with pity. She let out a sigh before opening her mouth,

“Nae… It’s jus’ a wee s’ehback” She said between deep breaths.

Once they finally caught their breath they started realizing the situation that they were in.

They had seen the group of breakers sparing and decided to slowly get closer to observe. Ame had noticed that two of the breakers looked quite familiar and decided to act on it.

But now since they had been running around like headless chickens they lost the breakers as well as Onyx. It was expected to run into a few humans but they weren't prepared for them to be so violent, it was worrisome; if those breakers decided to get more people they might start combing the city, if that was the case it could lead to them randomly running into a breaker or the demon they were sent here for in the first place.

Trixy and Ame had started to cautiously make their way through the forest. It was eerily quiet, just the wind, animals and light steps. There was a light due that had set in making the air smell damp and earthy. They were trying to find Onyx more than anything; they weren't sure how a breaker would react to him if they saw him.

They had been walking near the forest line when they saw it. The group of Breakers they had seen before was confronting a demon and something else.

The demon had a comically large mallet that she was using to block the attacks of the three younger breakers while the unidentified being was fighting with the older man with what appeared to be nothing. The demon suddenly touched one of the boys -the one that had been swinging at Trixy earlier- on the shoulder and he started to wilt and writh to the ground. The demon then gave a particularly harsh blow to the breaker on her left that watched in shock at their comrade who was now on the ground. They practically flew backwards at the blow.

The strange being was still busy with the man in front of them, well until an invisible force pushed the breaker back. It wasn't like a gust of wind or like he was thrown, it was like he was against a wall that was pushing him back. They turned around to look at the demon. The only Breaker that was still in a fighting state was over at their friends side, the one who had been hit with the mallet.

The two beings looked satisfied with their work and were about to walk away before they saw something in the corner of their eye. It was the human boy who had suddenly collapsed to the ground before, he was standing just hardly, swaying and stumbling on his feet.

Both of the beings looked at each other in confusion before the demon went to speak.

“My darling, I wouldn't recommend standing at the moment you don't have the energy.” She said in a kind voice. The boy looked like he hadn't even processed the words before opening his mouth to respond.

“We’ree not…not finished” His words slurred together making him sound either exhausted or drunk, he was slowly blinking his eyes still swaying.

The being next to the demon gave a slight frown. The being slowly approached the boy who was aimlessly swinging his sword around. The being then gave him a small shove, strangely when he fell he didn't hit the ground, something stopped him. When he fell into the invisible force his body did a few small little jolts back up almost like if he plopped down onto a plush bed.

Trixy and Ame had been watching the scene unfold in silence up until this point.

Trixy stood up and walked into view of the two beings.
