“Okay, Okay, Okay….I probably shouldn't have knocked him out…..” Naru muttered while she was pacing in front of a chair, a chair that had Ame chained to it.

Back at the shrine Naru had made a…somewhat impulsive decision to knock out and take Ame. Naru was looking for a successor, someone she could use to get back at Ki. She wasn't allowed to mess with him herself because the two other celestials forbid her and themselves from messing with the mortals, maybe just a bit because of Naru kinda contributing to the whole thing.

Naru turned around to look at the other person that was there. She looked at the man as if he was supposed to know what to do.

“What don't look at me. You’re the one who kidnaped a Human” He said.

The man was leaning forward, forearms on the island that was in the middle of the room. He had pale skin and silver hair that was combed back neatly, his voice was deep but silky. He was wearing puffy black pants, he didn't have a shirt on at the moment. He had large fluffy feathered wings, they were relaxed out behind him.

Naru just threw her arms up and started to pace again. After a few more moments of silent pacing Naru ran over to a cabinet. She grabbed a small jar with some kind of spice in it, she dashed over right in front of the unconscious Ame. She uncapped the jar and wafted the scent into the boy's face. His nose scrunched up right before he threw his head back. Naru just snickered at the dramatic reaction.

Ame just started thrashing his head around. Once he realized that he was chained up he sat still for a moment trying to remember what happened. He looked at Naru who just smiled at him, he looked past her to the guy behind her, he just gave a wave. Ame blinked back to Naru and slowly opened his mouth.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-” He was still looking her in the eyes when he started yelling. The kid had lungs Naru had to gag him to muffle the noise, even gaged he didn't stop.

Naru stood up and threw the jar over to the man behind her,

“Avalon could’ya put that up for me?” she asked, already going to unchain Ame.

“Uh yeah…what is this shit anyway?” he asked as he opened up the cupboard.

“Oh sulfur.” she said as if it was the most normal thing.

Avalon swung back to look at her, “Why?!” he asked in disbelief.

As she was ignoring the question Naru had finished unchaining Ame.

He stopped yelling, spit out the gag and turned around to look at Naru. He stood there in silence for a few seconds and then right when Naru was about to ask why he was staring he bolted.

He Started yelling again, he was just aimlessly running, Naru was now chasing him and Avalon was just standing there watching.

Naru grabbed the neck of Ame’s shirt and pulled him to the ground. Ame yelped out in surprise.

“CHILD MOLESTER! AHHHHH I'M UNDER AGE! HELP PEDOPHILE!” He yelled as She dragged him back over to the chair.

she raised him up off the ground like how you would a kitten and plopped him down back on the chair. He just looked up at her in disbelief.

Avalon just sighed to himself and palmed his face,

“Naru i thought you were going to explain to the kid.” he said ,hand still on his face dragging his skin down with it.

Naru turned to look at him and then back to Ame, she nodded after a moment. Then she waved her hand that was done by her side, all of the sudden behind where her hand went a faint dust followed. It swirled until it formed a chair right in front of the one Ame was sitting in.

Ame just gawked, switching from looking at the chair and Naru.

Naru just smiled in return.

She sat down in the chair and sighed,

“Okay this is gonna be a long one okay?” she said as she slouched back into the chair.

Ame who was still confused about the whole situation just slightly nodded his head.

Naru smiled and then cleared her throat and took a deep breath.

“My name is Naru. I am a celestial being, celestial beings are the creators of everything. There are three of us, light, dark and balance. I am balance.” She started to explain.

Ame just looked at her in disbelief, he shot a questioning look at Avalon as well.

Once Ame’s attention was back on what Naru was going to say she continued.

“Ki or as you know him “The Human Killer” was my friend, my brother until he betrayed me.”She explained to him, just as she was about to continue she was cut off.

“Waih wha, wha does dis have tuh do wif me?!” He asked.

Naru just looked over her shoulder at Avalon.

“Well- well it doesn't. I have been forbidden from metaling in the maters of mortals, because I contributed to the fall of humans in the first place,” She muttered while shifting in her chair.

“But I don't agree with what he’s doing. Ki he-he doesn't even know what he’s trying to achieve. He naturally craves power, he’s just using the beings that already favor him to get that power. Originally he said that he was going to bring demons to earth so we could all figure out how to save humans from themselves but that changed, he said that humans needed to pay for the lives they took, that he needed to avenge me.” She let out a hollow breath at that last sentence.

Ame was just baffled. He shot a few glances around almost to look for anything that gave it away as a joke. Avalon had come from behind the counter to lean against the front of it.

“He then learned that he could change things, he could change the nature of some beings. He’s been finding humans and turning them into Nu demons. And with the earth being sent into such chaos the elements have been taking on physical forms. Usually the elementals would try and get everything back to normal but Ki has been finding them and convincing them to side with him.” She continued, she gave Ame a few worried glances as she talked.

“Because of the demons needing to eat humans, humans grew scared and furious at demons. They found out about the weaknesses of demons and used it against them. Breakers were born. The Breaker corps are humans,elves, and ghosts that fight demons, They want to bring humans back to the top. The goal for breakers is to kill every demon and return the world to what it was before the war” She said. At the last sentence she shot Ame a questioning look.

Ame just contemplated, he sat in silence. After a few minutes he looked up at Naru and Avalon.

“So ki wans tuh make an ant farm of humans and breakers wan tuh desroy demons…and everyfhing dat came afer dhe war…?” He asked in a timid voice. Naru nodded once.

“...So dat means like duh floaing islands and duh kaiju and suff?” He asked both Naru and Avalon with a worrisome look.

Both Naru and Avalon nodded in affirmation. Ame just looked shocked, his head fell down to look at the floor.

After a few moments Naru spoke up, “Both outcomes would be awful to see happen and that's why I'm here, I can't personally get involved but I can teach someone,give them the tools they need to stop either from happening.” She said looking at Ame who started to raise his head when he heard her voice.

Ame just glanced between the two before he started to speak up,

“Okay buh…why me?” He asked as he started to straighten his posture.

Naru and Avalon just shot each other some blank glances before Naru started to speak up.

“The way you think,” Naru said.

“You don't judge things based on what people think. You don't think any of us are better than the next, hell you don't think you're better than the next. But you're not weak minded either. You fight for what you believe in, and what you believe in isn't based on others experiences. You don't think the whole harvest is off just because there was one bad apple.” Avalon said.

Ame was shocked to hear words from the man at all let alone such interpretive ones. It was strange he had read him like an open book, Ame was used to people not understanding him so for someone to see through him so easily was strange.

Ame looked over at Naru before opening his mouth to speak,

“Whad'ya fink i can do?” he asked.

Naru gave a hum before saying, “Well i’m in the market for a successor, and you were lookin for a teacher right,”

Ame contemplated for a few seconds before looking back up to Naru,

“Hmm yeah, yeah i was” He said smiling up at the woman.

Naru paused for a moment before smiling back, eyes gleaming with excitement.
