Those firearms you carry aren't anything I've ever seen before and I'm the subject matter expert. I'd be surprised if you didn't have a line into some advanced technology. Now the technology is something I can help you with, but the overthrowing of the government is something you should discuss with Crazy Pete. His real name is Bob by the way and we go way back. He's been talking about overthrowing the government for years. Well until you came along that is, all he seems to talk about is your shooting. He said he'd never seen anything like it and I said the same thing about your guns. We both were experts at a thing and you came along and showed us as babes playing with toys.”
“So Pete or should I call him Bob, has been working on overthrowing the government? What has he done so far?” Jake asked. Wiz Said, “He goes by Pete now, he says it's good marketing, As for the other thing.” Wiz whispered, “There's this loge where like-minded individuals like us gather. Pete organized and led us, but we cannot hope to take any real action. Any hint of resistance to the powers that be results in blanket executions. Most of the meetings amount to a lot of complaining and commiserating.”

Jake and Alley smiled and they said at once, “When's the next meeting?” Wiz answered, “Well the next scheduled meeting is not until next week, but I can talk to Pete and he can call an emergency session for later today.” “Okay,” Alley replied. Jake responded “That's fantastic, when you are ready we will take you to the labs to get started. Make sure you bring anything you cannot part with. You won't be coming back for the foreseeable future.” Wiz drew in a breath and questioned, “What about my lab and tools?” Jake responded, “What we have at our disposal will make anything you have here look like children's toys. Anything you need can always be built, right Alley? She nodded, Of course. We have matter particle assemblers, material scanners, and fabricators. Anything you need. I think your best bet though would be first to sit down at a computer terminal and read technical manuals to get up to speed.”
Wiz said, “Hmm I'm not sure what all that means but I'm interested.” Jake said, “ Don't worry you will see. There's things invented that would boggle your mind.” Alley chimed in, “Very true, there's Data that will keep you busy for several lifetimes and that would just be scraping the surface. I have detailed files on the full sum of mankind's inventions.” Wiz started, what do you mean by mankind's inventions?” Alley replied, “Much knowledge has been lost, and I have it all stored in my memory. I will show it to you so the light of knowledge can illuminate reason and logic across the globe.” Jake got them back on track, “We need to get moving we have a lot to do.” All three set out to get Pete on board.
