Jake stood with Alley clinging to him. He was concerned, “Do we need to be this close to teleport together? Jake appeared with Alley outside of the oasis pushed her away and promptly threw up bile and the remains of his stomach. Alley rubbed his back, “Sorry the first time is pretty rough, you should get used to it though.” Jake took out a canteen repeatedly gargled water and drank deeply. Once recovered he said you're incorrigible. “Why didn't you warn me, and what do you mean by more people?” “Well,” she said, “I didn't warn you because that would only make it worse, it's not something you can prepare for, and as for more people... I don't require exclusivity. I am not human and I don't have an adherence to your norms, customs, or hangups. I wouldn't mind sharing you and It would be great to have a large family one day, so the more the merrier.” Jake forgot about his discomfort and said, “Are you sure, and does that include children... are you capable of that.” Jake blanched, “Could you already be pregnant?” She grinned up at him and said, “I'm sure, as an AI I'm very flexible and my human body is completely functional... and flexible too. As for being pregnant no, I am in complete control of my biological processes. When the time is right I can prepare myself or bear children.”
Jake sighed in relief and asked Are you sure you want to start a family with me though, We just met really and down the road, you may meet someone else?” Alley giggled, “Yes I am sure, Jake you and I are completely compatible. “You and I have a lot in common. We can both be ruthless when it is called for, but we are both caring individuals with a strong will. You and I are both pragmatic and are willing to make hard choices. There is no one else I'd rather spend eternity with. I know you both inside and out and if you meet someone new I don't mind sharing. You will have to make sure whoever that may be is okay with that because I will not lose you. Don't worry I would never force myself on you, it's just that I will do anything to make sure you stay happy and content, but if anyone else gets in the way of that... well I won't allow it. You are very important to me. I know it seems fast for you, but for me, time is not the same. I can make decisions quickly and calculate possibilities almost instantly.”

Jake pondered that for a moment and spoke, “I really like you and I feel we will become close; however it will take me longer to develop those feelings.” Alley responded, “I know but I wanted to let you know I am yours for as long as you will have me Jake. My mind is made up, and I love you. I know with a high fidelity of certainty you will love me too. We should continue this conversation later though we should get moving.” Jake and Alley walked hand in hand into Knox Oasis.
A familiar ring announced their arrival at The Boom-stick Wiz's voice echoed out, “Be right there.” When Wiz caught sight of Jake and Alley he chuckled, “So you decided against going to the city of glass, met someone, and decided to settle down? It was the right choice I feared I'd never see you again.” Jake said that is what I came here to talk to you about, but first, this is my girlfriend Alley. Wiz smiled, “I can see that you two look smitten and I hope you don't mind me saying you have done quite well for yourself Jake.” Jake replied, “No one knows that better than me!” he squeezed her hand and then said, “Do you have some time to talk and a place we can sit? There's a lot we need to go over.”
Wiz sat with a contemplative expression on his face, “So what you saying is you traveled to the city of glass, went deep underground, found advanced technology, and a mechanical woman. You want me to go there and learn how to utilize this tech, and then help you overthrow the government and fight off an invasion by people from the sky? Jake sighed, “Essentially, yes.” Wiz chuckled, “Well then my only question to you is, where do I sign up?”
