Chansey. Usually the first thing that comes to mind would be Nurse Joy's assistant or its large HP stat from the games. The first thing I paid any attention to was the fur. Pink, yes, but it looked like it was as soft as a kittens. And that's as far as I could get before it started 'looking after me'.
A few minutes later and a blur of memories, I'm sitting up on a well made bed, a tray of food in front of me, extra fluffy pillows behind me, being fed like a madly in love schoolgirl. I could feel the anime sparkles around me. Honestly, if I wasn't already recovering from whatever happened to me, I definitely was now.
"Hey uh, Chansey? Do you think I'll be ok?" I ask the smiling, lovable ball of fuzzy happiness. Chansey meets my eyes, its gaze filled with trust and faith. A nod.

"Chan-Chansey!" In a tone deep enough that it wouldn't be out of place on a wrestler or a body builder. Definitely a boy.
Chansey returned to feeding me, utterly destroying what pride I had left. I had a feeling that trying to do it myself would be worse for my health than anything that Looker would do to me.
Looker. If he is the same Looker from the games he must be from the International Police. But he was in Sinnoh, not wherever this is. I regret not playing the more modern Pokémon games, having lost interest after they completely reset the Pokédex in Gen5. Don't get me wrong, I played X+Y, Once, and I played the beginning of Sun and Moon, though I never left the first island. Everything else I learned via popular osmosis or my brothers. I stopped watching the anime before the black and white ark too. Its hard to keep liking Ash when he resets his memory at the beginning of every season.
Well, whatever. So long as Chansey is here, I'm fairly certain that everything will be aright. I'm in good... hands?
