“Tell me about the inventory.”
Joe sat down next to Sher, “Mostly everybody got 25 squares of space, there are no weight restrictions but there is a size restriction, the bigger or more complex the object the more square space it will occupy, we found that the kids have a limited Status and they only have five squares of space in their inventory."
Sher spoke up. "Yes, we reckoned that the status became active when kids turn fourteen, can’t have kids running around doing magic and stuff, but that's just speculation since there is one girl that is seven years old with an active status and a very annoying skill, other than her, most under fourteens has an inactive status."
Louie taped on his inventory tab and he caught himself staring at his inventory.
“25 Squares?”
“Yes, our rucks are seen as a complex item because of all our clothes and accessories inside so that takes up 6 squares and weapons two squares each. There is this one guy in another company that has 30sq, as an experiment, he inventoried the LT’s jeep. It took all 30sq and he said that he felt sick, like he had gorged himself with meat. And he was tired and slow. So we figured that there was some kind of weight or complexity limits.”
He looked over his Squares in his inventory, they stretched as far as he could see, most of them were filled with Rocks and rubble, there was one that took up what look like 60Sq.
'Holy Shit, Aaah, I think I should keep this to myself, wonder if this is because the System stored stuff inside my inventory before I even knew I had an inventory.'
“Ok I think this is enough for now, we should get out of here and it looks like the only way to do that is to clear this dungeon.”
They looked at him as if he was crazy.
“Are you out of your mind? This is a Dungeon, and we are only a couple of days into levels, there is no way that we can clear a Dungeon." Sher nodded, agreeing with Joe.
“Sher have you played any RPG games, I know you have Joe, well I was an avid gamer, and I’m sure that you, Joe, you have done a couple of dives before, Right?”
“Yes but that was while playing a game and like you just reminded me a couple of hours ago. ‘This is no game.’”
“True, but as you saw there are some Game-like Rules that apply, and if you study the Dungeon notification and Gaea`s message then you will see that we can do this.”
“What do you mean, study?”
“Right-click on words like Blue, Mechanized, Challenge and Dungeon Break.”
“Right Click?”
“Yes, Think of the word like you want to click as you do with your status, but think of the word and what it means then imagine you are right-clicking on the word with your PC mouse.”
Blue: The colour indicates the difficulty of a Dungeon. The Colors are Blue, green, yellow, orange, red, purple and black in ascending order.
Mechanized: The Golems were created from the condensed life force of the sentient beings that were merged with the mechanized transports that were trapped in this location when the Dungeon was formed.
Challenge: There are many different Dungeons, Grafting, Teaching, Puzzles and many more. This is a Challenge Dungeon; the party must defeat the Dungeon Boss to complete this Dungeon to be able to leave.
Dungeon break: Dungeon break happens when the rate of Dungeon spawn outpaces the rate of Dungeon expansion and the spawn break out of the Dungeon to ravage the countryside. Every time a dungeon has been cleared the timer of the break will be reset to facilitate the new dungeon dimensions.
Just out of curiosity Louie clicked on the 5 of Dungeon level 5.
Level 5: each colour level of a Dungeon has 10 levels, This blue level 5 dungeon has a five hour to one-time dilation (5Hx1H). The level of the dungeon will rise the longer the Dungeon isn’t cleared, till it reaches level ten which is the threshold of Blue and will upgrade to Green level one which will have a time dilation of one day to one hour, (1Dx1H) after reaching that threshold it will upgrade to yellow level 1 which has dilation of eleven days to one day (11Dx1D) . . .

Requirement for entry; Party not exceeding five members, Level 5 -10.
Dungeon level 5 instanced. Blue. Mechanized. Challenge.
Dungeon must be cleared before the party can exit.
300 Days till Dungeon break if not cleared.
“Ok, there is also an explanation for the time difference when you right-click on the 5 for level 5 Dungeon. But back to my reason for taking on this dungeon . . . there is the massage from GAEA that states that, and I quote."
<6. After seven of this planetary rotation, instances will appear to help strengthen humanity and cull the weak, grow strong to survive.>
"Seven rotations, which means that this Dungeon has spawned here in the last day, it’s only one day old. We can totally clear this Dungeon. But the main reason is that we can’t get out of here without clearing this dungeon, it won’t let us out if we don’t do this.”
“There is just one thing you have seemed to forget.”
“This is a five-party Dungeon and it’s meant for member’s level five to ten, we are totally outclassed here. And as far as I know from Dungeon lore, you can’t even enter a Dungeon if you don’t meet party requirements.”
Sher had no idea what they were talking about but she decided to keep her ears open and listen because they seem to know what a dungeon are and maybe she could learn something here.
“That’s true, but the requirement states that the party must not exceed five, not that this is a five-party minimum Dungeon. I think that with this new reality it seems that if you are near a person when the action happens then you are automatically included in a party. And I think that’s why the Dungeon let us through the entrance, And we got a Quest to clear it, *Sigh* . . . and I’m level nine.”
“What? A Quest?” Joe wanted to know.
Sher jumped up and shouted. “How can you be LVL 9?”

Joe. “Level 9? And a Dungeon Quest?”
Louie scratched his head. “Well, it seems that I've been fighting monsters for the last week, it's just that I can’t remember fighting any monsters.”
They all sat down against the wall facing the tunnel so that nothing can sneak upon them.
“I started going through my reports from the first one and it seems that I was in a cave because after a time I received a skill called

'Damn, I better keep that quiet.'
“
He looked up to see them looking at him with eyes wide open.
Joe was the first to speak. “What the fuck? You had to have killed a lot of monsters to level up to level 9, and you don’t remember anything about that?”
“No, the last thing I remembered was going to bed and then the next thing I’m wet and laying on the riverbank this morning.”
“As I said, your amnesia may only be temporary, anything might trigger the return of your memories.”
“Well I had a flashback of where I was in a dark cave that was filled with bodies and I snapped out of it as Joe restrained me when you healed me after we fell into the Tunnel”
“What did you fight in this flashback?”
“Nothing, in the dream I was looking through some caves, each was filled with animal carcasses and then there was a screech and something attack me and then I woke up.”
Suddenly there was a roar from deeper in the Tunnel and Sher gave a small shriek as Louie and Joe jumped up and weapons appeared in their hands.
Nothing moved in the tunnel as far as they could see.
They looked at each other and Joes eyes shifted to the weapon Louie had in his hand.
"Where the hell did you get that?”
“Huh.”
Louie gape with astonishment at the mace in his hand. It was about a meter long with a studded knob as big as his head and it was made from what appeared to be bone that had a faint silver sheen.
As he stared at the Bonemace for a while a notice popped up.
Louie's Giraffe Bonemace of Woe (Soulbound)
This weapon was magically grafted by Lewis Poren From the Tibia of a giraffe and the skull and teeth of a Male Baboon. Due to its magical nature, it has a high Durability and there is a chance to deal entropy damage with any hit. So don’t hit yourself in the face.

"Damn, that’s real D&D shit right there, where did you get it?”
Shocked Louie handed the mace to Joe.
“It says it's mine.”
“What? It can talk?”
Louie shook his head. “No, I got the
Louie turned his back and studied the Tunnel, as Joe took the mace he went and sat against the wall.
After half an hour Joe let out a shout. “Yes. I got the
Louie's Bonemace
This weapon was made from the Tibia of a giraffe and the skull and teeth of a Male Baboon.
"
He got up and handed the mace back to Louie. “So what are we going to do about this Dungeon?”
Louie took a deep breath and let it out slowly.
“I think because this is such a young Dungeon that, hopefully, there is only one floor, and if what I know of game Dungeons hold true then this here space behind the yellow line painted on the road should be a safe place where you can prepare yourself before you and your party take on the Dungeon.”
Joe’s eyes follow the yellow line across the road and up the wall across the roof and back down the other wall to meet the line on the road again.
“You might be right, pity we can’t test it.”
They looked at each other before a smile spread across their faces.
“Sher. Can you use a bow?” She shook her head “No.”
“Hm, ok but I got these bows that I got from the ratkin.”
Crude Ratkin Bow
With a crude bow used by Ratkin scavengers, you would have more success throwing rocks at your enemies and the chances of you poking yourself in the eye would be slimmer.
Level: 0
2 Handed bow speed: 2
Damage: 5
“It's crap but it’s better than nothing, I noticed that you have no weapon, maybe you can practice with them and pick up the archery skill.”
He took a ratkin hide from his inventory and nailed it to the wall with two crude ratkin daggers.
“I know nothing about shooting a bow.” She shrugged and looked at the bow.
“Well, I guess I have nothing to lose and it will pass the time. Ok, I will give it a try.”
He handed her two bows and a whole stack of crappy arrows.
Joe stepped up. “I will help you, I have never done it, but I have seen a lot of youtube videos, so I got a bit of knowledge.”
Louie took his mace.
“Ok, you and Sher wait here and practice and I’m going to sneak down the tunnel and see if I can find a small golem and kite it back here, and we can take it down.”
Joe’s smile slowly wilted as he started thinking about what can go wrong.
“You sure we can take it?”
Louie shrugged. “We will have to see, I will try to bring the weakest looking one, and we don’t have an option, if we want to get out of here we need to clear this Dungeon.”
“Be careful.” Sher looked worried.
“I will, thanks, Sher.”
He held out his fist towards Joe for a fist bump before he readied himself and walked across the line.
The moment he had crossed the line he could immediately feel the difference in his surroundings, the air felt better, fresher everything looks brighter, more. .everything just seemed more.
Attention You have entered a high Mana Density area, all stats will regenerate twice as fast.
'Nice'
He looked around before placing his mace back in his inventory and making sure that he can retrieve it easily before he started sneaking towards the right-hand wall and down the tunnel.
He moved deeper into the tunnel till he found the first obstruction, it looked like somebody had haphazardly tried to close off the tunnel with what looks like corrugated iron sheets, there was also access to a utility tunnel that ran parallel to the main tunnel on the right.
He moved closer to the sheet wall and peeked through one of the many holes.
'It looks like they were trying to create a wall to cordon or block something inside. Huh? Is that a Rolls Royce?'
There was what looked like an old partially destroyed 1960s Rolls Royce that stood across the road like it was abandoned there.
'Huh, the Dungeon description stated that the vehicles inside the tunnel merged with the trapped live force to create the golems, so why didn’t this one become a golem and why is it hidden away here?'
He decided to leave this mystery for later while he continued to look for his first golem to kite towards his waiting friends.
'Strange, when did I start thinking of them as my friends? Think of that later, and keep your mind on the objective Soldier.'
He moved back towards the wall and slowly approached the opening where the door should have been.
'The door is missing and the opening is three times the size it should be, I hope that isn’t a bad sign.'
Reaching the opening he pushed his senses out before he caught a quick peek around the bottom.
What he saw shocked him to his core.
'Well, hell if I hadn’t been sure that magic was real then this would surely convince me.'
He slowly sneaked through the opening and moved to a dark alcove that he spotted near the door.
What must have been a workspace of some kind in the maintenance tunnel before the pulse, now looks like a huge workshop/aircraft hanger, with metal lined roof and walls, that was about a Rugby field wide and stretch as far as his eyes can see.
'Shit, this place is huge.'
Multiple creatures were moving around.
Some of them looked like Transformers that had landed in and assimilated a scrap yard, it looked as if they were made from broken-down heaps of slapped together scrap and car parts while others looked more like human size transformers.
The biggest golem that he could see was about 2meters tall.
He looked around for a while before he found what he thought of as the perfect candidate for their little experiment.
He sneaked in behind a workbench to look for some ammunition to lob at the 1meter-tall, two-meter long lumbering two-horned Rhino Beetle Golem that looks like it was originally a forklift.
Rhino Beetle Golem
This Golem was originally a forklift that took on the shape of the life that was trapped in it as it came into existence.
Not the fastest or brightest crayon in the box
He also found a whole tin full of truck Ball bearings.
Steel Ball
Steel Balls that came from Bearings used to facilitate smooth rotation, has many uses.
Beware of stepping on one or it will facilitate the movement of your face towards the floor.
Huh, Sarcasm from a notice?
He waited till he saw the Rhino Beetle Golem move away from the others before he took a Ball and throw it as hard as he could at the golem.
He greatly underestimated the strength and misjudged his aim as the ball ricocheted off the floor behind the Rhino Beetle but hit the left back leg with enough force to bend it out of shape.
He ducked back behind the workbench as the golem stumbled and turned around to look for its assailant.
The golem slowly limped towards the only hiding place which turned out to be the workbench.
Louie ducked closer to the ground as he made his way behind the bench back towards the opening into the tunnel.
He waited till it was about to go around the bench and as the golem turned its body away from his side he dashed towards the opening and into the tunnel.
He saw it look around the back of the workbench with what he presumed was confusion.
Waiting till its back was turned again, he hit it with another steel ball but using much less power this time. He saw the Rhino Beetle look down at the ball rolling around its feet.
He jerked his head back as it shifted the front half of its body towards the opening in the wall.
Using
He quietly backed away from the gap and moved across the road as far as possible while still be able to see the golem as it appears.
As it came through the opening he noticed that it kept as far away from the sheet-iron wall as possible while also keeping the wall insight as if it’s afraid of being attacked by the wall... Or what’s behind the wall.
'Interesting.'
He stepped out into the line of sight of the golem.
It spun towards him and lifted its front of the ground to roar but a powerful thrown ball smashed into its front with enough force that it tore off one of its horns before smashing into its mouthpieces.
The golem spit out small pieces of metal before lumbering towards Louie.
Luckily it wasn’t fast and it acted quite stupid so it was easy for Louie to kite it back towards his party.
He grew concerned when he neared the entrance of the dungeon and couldn’t see Joe or Sher.
He turned his back on the beetle golem and sprinted towards the entrance.
“Fuck.” 'I hope nothing happened to them.'
As soon as he crossed the yellow line they appeared before him warily watching the Golem.
“Shit I couldn’t see you guys, only when I crossed the line did you become visible.”
“Good . . . about that thing, is that a golem?”Joe pointed at the Beetle golem that was standing in the middle of the tunnel and turning left and right like a confused child looking for its lost toy.
Louie spun around and looked at the golem.
'I can swear that thing looks confused.'
"Yea, I know it looks intimidating, but we got three things going for us, it can’t see in here, it is very slow and dumb, it also seemed very fragile. I took pieces of with a thrown ball bearing. So I’m going to lure it closer and get it to turn around then u are going to jump out and hit its middle left leg as hard as you can, let’s see if we can take out its legs so it can’t move around.”
Joe looked sceptical but nodded. “Ok.”
Louie saw that the golem has turned around and started to go back towards the giant workshop, he tightened his grip on his mace and sprinted across the line and ran as fast but as silent as he can towards the left side of the golem and as he passed he let out a mighty shout and hit, destroying the already damaged left hind leg.
He sprinted past the staggering golem and took a backswing with his mace that caught it on its remaining horn bringing it to a stop as it slightly staggered to its left.
Suddenly Joe was there and brought his axe down right on the joint where the middle leg joins its carapace, the axe scored deep, cutting nearly all the way through the joint.
Suddenly the Beetle flared its wings and the hard outer casing hit Joe in his chest and hurled him across the road throwing him into the wall.
“Joe!” Sher ran towards him and started spamming him with
While the golem was distracted Louie jumped closer and swung for the fences, hitting the head so hard it disintegrated.
Not seeing any notification of its demise, he smashed its two remaining left legs as Joe staggered up.
“Joe, you ok?... Help me get this thing on its back.”
They both looked at the remaining legs that were wildly weaving around and smashed it with the mace and axe. Grabbing the edge of the carapace they use their system enhanced strength to flip it over.
“Fuck, what does it take to kill these things?”
Joe stood back and scratched his chest while taking deep breaths.
Louie used
Heavily Damaged Rhino Beetle Golem
This Golem was originally a forklift that took on the shape of the life that was trapped in it as it came into existence.
Not the fastest or brightest crayon in the box. But as long as the core is active it can regenerate, many an idiot forgot to remove the core and it later came back to bite them in the ass, literally.
“Shit, I forgot it’s a golem and a Golem has a core, and we must destroy the core”
They started examining the twitching golem when Joe stood back.
“If I remember right, I think I read somewhere that a golem core must be accessible but also defendable, so I don’t think it would be on the underside, so let’s tilt it back right side up.”
When it landed right side up it started trashing more and its wing casings slammed open and shut.
Louie jumped back and took a stance before he hit it with a powerful overhead smash, caving in the backplates just above where the wings connect to the body.
“Hey, I saw a glowing ball.”
Sher pointed and shouted. “There on top just under the wings, if it was a human I would say just between the shoulder blades.”
They moved to the back and saw a faint glow from between the shuddering wing casing.
“Hmm. That might be it. Joe, can you wedge your axe in there and see if you can force it open?”
Joe looked at the twitching wing casings. “Let me rather see if I can remove this covering, you don’t want to put your hand in there, it might spaz and then you might lose a hand.”
Joe aimed for the spot where the cover meets the carapace and took a swing but at the last moment the Golem twitched and his hit struck the wing cover and deflected.
“Shit, hold still you piece of shit insecticon wanna-be. Damn not even a scratch.”
He took another swing and this time the joint cracked and with the third hit the wing cover fell to one side.
Louie reached into the cavity and plucked the core out. And a box popped up.

Both Joe and Sher was shocked at the amount of exp they received.
