The bell rang and Trevor made his way to class.
The students that had surrounded him and Kevin earlier made way for him to pass as they looked at him in shock.
Those who recorded a video couldn't help but watch them km their phones.
Trevor threw Kevin a cold stare the walked past him.
"Wait," Claire said running after Trevor.
As soon as Trevor left the cafeteria, everyone snapped out of their daze and remembered that the bell had sounded.
They quickly hurried back to class.
The lessons ended later that day.
Trevor was at his locker organizing it.
The students in the hallway glanced at him from time to time as they chatted with their friends.
Claire approached him with a little hesitation, it was like the person standing in front of her was a different person.
She tapped his shoulder making him turned to see who it was.
"Oh, Claire. What's up." Alex greeted then continued organizing his locker.
"What the heck happened in the cafeteria? How did you take on Kevin like that?"
Trevor slammed his locker then faced Claire.
His actions made Claire shiver a bit.
"My dad trained me at home," he said.
"Uhh... The classic "my-Dad-trained-me-at-home routine." she said making air quotes, "Can't you just tell me the truth?"
"Alright alright. Cruz taught me a few skills while I was at home. Happy."
Claire's mouth gaped at what Alex said, "Wait. You met up with Cruz?"
"Yes. He and my dad are friends. Can we now head home?" Trevor said politely gesturing to the exit.
"Oh okay." Claire listened to Trevor and the two were now on their way home.
One of Kevin's friends, in the school's football team jacket passed by Trevor and Claire with his motorcycle throwing them a cold stare.
"What if they come for you?" Claire couldn't help but worry for Alex.

"Hmm."
"Trevor." Monica, who was seated on the couch, stood up when she noticed Trevor enter the house.
She walked to him and embraced him.
"How was school today?" she pulled away and looked at him with a smile.
"It was fine mom."
"That's great. Go on and relax in your room."
Trevor heeded her words and did as she asked.
He threw his backpack on his bed and went for a hot shower to relieve his tensed muscles.
Flashbacks of master Soimacho's head roll on the ground still hunted him.
After the shower, he put on a new set of clothes and relaxed playing his ps5.
"I said get me my wine glass." yelled a big voice.
"Yes, Master Thudius."
Thudius shifted his gaze at the giant seated next to him; "When is the next portal opening?"
"In six months at Genysis."
The phone on the side table rang and Trevor shot his eyes open.
He stared at the ceiling for some time then sat up and went for a bath.
He put on his clothes.
And he halted in his movement. He looked at his palm and a fireball was created.
It cast Trevor's huge shadow on the wall but it only lasted 12 seconds.
Trevor picked up his backpack and left for school.
He sat at his desk drawing on his palm with a pencil.
"Good morning Trevor." Claire who had just taken her seat greeted.
"Mmm." Trevor nodded still focused on his drawing.
Claire got curious after some time and asked Trevor what he was drawing.
He snapped out of it and looked at what he had just drawn on his palm.
Claire held his palm and awed at the artistic work; "Is this some kind of shadow monster or something?" she asked.
"Maybe."
The teacher entered the class and the lessons commenced.
"Kevin never came to school today. He deserves it." Claire said with a glimmer of joy in her eyes.
She took a bite of the sandwich in her hands.
Trevor has didn't reply.
"Hey..." a girl with long blond hair and green eyes sat next to Trevor.
She wore a pink leather jacket and a short black skirt.
Claire's mood changes for the worse when she saw her.
"Tricia, what do you want," she said with flushed cheeks.
"It's nothing... I just want to hang with you guys." Tricia replied playing the innocent girl.
"We both know that's not why you're here."
"Oh... Dear... Am not a slut like you."
Claire hit the bench aggressively and stood up.
"Tricia... What do you want?" Trevor asked the girl next to her after seeing Claire's mood change.
"It's nothing, I just want t9 to be your friend. That's it." She defended herself.
Trevor stood up with his tray and glanced at Tricia; "So sorry we're done with our lunch. Bye..." he paused, "and by the way, next time you judge someone because of some rumor, make sure it's true. Because to me your the slut and not her."
Trevor walked away with Claire leaving an embarrassed Tricia seated at the bench.
"Thanks for helping me out there," Claire said.
"It's nothing. Don't mention it." Trevor smiled at Claire gently.
After the lessons, Trevor spent some time at the school's playground enjoying some fresh air and evening sunshine.
He looked down at the football team's match and they were currently winning.
Cheers roared now and then they scored points.
Trevor sat on a bench as his eyes wandered emotionlessly.
The match ended and the hawks, the school's team had won the match.
Trevor stood up immediately after that and made his way home.
"Come with me," Robert said.
Trevor sat up from his bed and looked at Robert who was standing in the middle of his lap bedroom looking down him.
"Why? At this time? Come on." Trevor complained.
"Just come with me and stop asking questions." insisted Robert.
Trevor held Robert's hand and they immediately vanished into thin air.
They appeared in the middle of a bar.
"Why have you brought me here?" Trevor asked looking at the blue carpet under his feet.
The flickering spotlights illuminated his face.
"This is a Protector Lounge. This is where protectors are assigned missions to other dimensions. And relax when free." Robert folded his arms behind his back.
"So everyone here is a protector?" Trevor looked around.
"Yep."
