The candle light cast shadows on the wall as master Soimacho and his students had their dinner.
Trevor leaned over and picked up a dumpling using the chopsticks in his hand, "The rogues are in this village too." he then put the dumpling in his mouth and munched on it.
"Hmmmm. Is that so....." Master Soimacho struck his beard.
"Yes Master. The food vendor told us but they call them night shadows here. And that they abduct people here from time to time." said Jack as he picked up the bowl of vegetables.
"Hmmmmm." was all master Soimacho said while his thoughts drifted off.
He latter snapped out of it and the three of them finished their dinner t hen went to bed.
Am hour passed and Trevor still lay in bed shifting in discomfort.
He kicked the blanket of his body and left the house to get some fresh air.
Trevor found himself a seat out side and looked at the stars above his head; "Is that.." he said to himself catching a glimpse of a feminine figure disappearing into the darkness.
He quickly got up and followed in the direction it took.
Just as he turned the corner into an alley, he saw the girl that he was following standing there looking at him.
The morning sun shine cast its light over the sleepy village.
Jack shook Trevor who was currently sleeping"Wake up Trevor."
Trevor groaned in his sleep then slowly opened his eyes letting his eyes adjust to the light.
And the first thing he was was Jack hovering over his face.
Trevor rubbed his eyes as he said in a hoarse voice, " What happened? I was just following someone right now. "
"You were talking in your sleep I guess it was just a dream."
"But it felt so real. Anyway that's how dreams are there meant to feel real" Trevor shrugged it off and got out of bed, now brimming with life.
He and Jack did the morning routine exercises and cleaning up then prepared for the new day.
Master Soimacho who had just stepped in the house said, "Good morning boys."
"Good morning Master" Trevor and Jack bowed for him.
"It's good your awake. It's time to look for the third scroll. According to stories, I hear the scroll is kept at the Dungsen dojo. I want you to go around and ask about the dojo."
"Yes Master!" Trevor and Jack immediately left through the door and were now on the streets again.
They asked around for about 2 hours but had no progress.
Trevor saw a girl stretched out his hand to touch her shoulders "Hey. Do you....."He didn't complete the sentence when the girl turned around and a familiar face came into view.
She gasped in shock seeing Trevor, " Oh hey. It's you. Thank you again for earlier. I never thought I would meet you again. "

" Don't mention it. So what are you doing at this bar?" Trevor looked around his environment.
A frown settled on the girls face; "It's nothing. What did you want to ask me?"
"Oh yeah. Do you know about a certain Dungsen dojo." he said rubbing the back of his neck.
The girls pupils dilated hearing that name. "No I don't know please leave me alone." she leaned in closer at Trevor's ear and whispered, "meet me at the bridge at mid night."
Trevor and Jack quickly left after that.
Trevor and Jack stepped in the house and found master Soimacho meditating on a mat.
"Have you found anything." he said without even opening his eyes.
"Yes we have a start. But for some reason no one knows about it." said Jack scratching the back of his head on a dazed look.
"That's because it's keeping a sacred scroll. It's kept a secret from society. Just like my dojo."
"So who is going to help you."
"The girl we paid for the rent the other day. She knows something about It. She told us to meet her at the bridge at midnight. "
"Good. You can go make your self familiar with the village."
Just like that, Trevor and Jack were in the streets again.
People kept throwing glances at them from time to time as they walked the streets.
It wasn't long before midnight clocked and they now knew where the bridge was after exploring the village.
The atmosphere was filled with the crocking of frogs and sound of crickets.
Master Soimacho and is students immediately left for the bridge.
"Good your here. I'm Delilah by the way." she said touching her chest.
"Uhh. Am Trevor, this is my friend Jack and that is our master. Master Soimacho." Trevor introduced himself and the people he was with.
Everyone could see them selves as the moon shone bright above themselves.
Delilah's looked looked at everyone as Trevor introduced them but when she looked at Jack she quickly blushed and looked at master Soimacho.
Master Soimacho struck his Grey long beard, "So. You know where the dojo is? "
"Mmmmm" she nodded her head.
"Follow me."
She ascended up a mountain, as the sound of wind hitting against the trees filled the air.
Two light could be seen at the mountain slopes.
Trevor and Delilah held the lamps a head of them as they made their way up the steep slopes.
They climbed the mountain for 2 hours before they could get to the dojo.
"Welcome miss Delilah. I didn't expect you this soon." a maid-servant's voice could be heard as she opened the door.
She looked at the three people Delilah had brought along. "Who are they?"she stepped aside as she let the visitors in.
"Don't worry they are friends. How is father doing?" Delilah took off her coat and hang it on a nail behind the door.
A frown settled on the maids face, "Not good. And the doctor is giving only demanding more money saying that his condition is getting a lot worse."
"what!" Delilah immediately ran to her father's room.
Master Soimacho immediately flowed Delilah with a serious face.
Trevor and Jack stood there, in the middle of the room, looking at themselves with a confused look.
" Father!" Delilah, who had just stepped into her father's room immediately ran to her father's sick bed and sat besides him.
"De...Delilah?" said a sickly man trying to open his heavy eyelids.
