Jack, who was in his room, came to see who was outside after hearing an unfamiliar voice.
"Hmmm. Looks like old man got himself students for the first time in a while." said the visitor looking at Jack and Trevor.
"I bet they are as spineless as your previous students." continued the visitor smirking.
"You've crossed the line Job. I'd suggest you leave right now." said the old man angrily.
"Oh come on old man. Are you scared of your former student." said Job taunting the old man.
"Why have you come here?"said the old man.
" I just came to pay the old man a visit. "
" Cut the crap and tell me what you want. "said the old man frustrated.
" Alright you got me. After I heard you had new students under your wing, I decided to pay your dojo a visit and challenge them against mine. "said Job smiling.
" Get out of here. That isn't happening. "
" Hehehe. Your not only scared of me but also my students. Oh come on old man, what happened to you. Are you saying you haven't taught you students well. "said Job.
" Fine. Challenge accepted. Your best students VS mine "said the old man.
" Perfect then. Am giving you a week to prepare your students. They'll need it trust me. I'll take my leave. "said Job smirking.
Job left the dojo immediately after saying that.
" Master. He wants us to challenge his students. We'll best them black and blue. "said Jack over estimating themselves.
" No you can't. " said the old man in frustration.
" What do you mean. You have taught us everything. What are you talking about. "said Trevor who had been quiet the whole time.
" sigh.. Follow me. "said the old man opening a slide door.
Trevor and Jack knew this room very well. It was the room that they were prohibited from entering.
It was the library.
Their master would be the only one that entered there and brought for them scrolls to learn.
You could be reading stolen content. Head to the original site for the genuine story.
It was their first time entering the library.
The old man walked to a shelf and picked up a scroll. It was different from all the other scrolls. It had a red casing and golden covers at the edge.
"This is the scroll of Zinchama. It was made in the edge kung-fu was being developed.
A group of kung-fu masters and wizards tried to unit the magic and kung-fu together hence this scroll.
At first, everyone was fine with the new kung-fu and dojos started teaching it to help people.
But the more they used the sacred kung-fu, the more they turned rogue.
Their evil sides developed and they longed for more and felt more powerful than every one else hence they killed who ever they met.
The council of masters and wizards banned the new kung-fu and hid all the scrolls ever made. " said the old man looking at the scroll in his hands.
" What! So you mean to tell me magic is real. "said Jack shocked.
Trevor wasn't surprised at all. He had just walked through a screen. Thus didn't eve make him budge.
" Yes young one. Job was one of my students. He discovered one of the sacred scrolls and stole it. He learnt the kung fu in it and got hungrier for more power. He killed who ever didn't heed his words and when some others so the technique he used, they wanted to become his students. He has been in the search for all the 7 sacred scrolls. So fur he only has two. He taught his students only part of the kung-fu. Of cause he doesn't want anyone stronger than him. "
" So your going to teach us the sacred kung-fu? " asked Trevor.
" No. I don't have the capacity to withstand the magic. I will turn rogue if I learn it. But you my students, can break the threshold. "said their master.
" How do we break through?" asked Jack in excitement.
" It's good you asked. Take this scroll. Both of you should place your hands on it. Then take off the golden caps. "said the old man smiling while giving the two the scroll.
They did as the old man instructed and immediately they took the cap off, a kind of white-golden dust flowed out of both ends and entered Jack and Trevor's bodies.
They immediately fell to the ground growing in excruciating pain.
Their screams were so loud that the old man had to close his ears.
"Aghhh. I forgot to tell them it would be painful." said the old man in regret.
After an hour, the pain Trevor and Jack felt was quickly replaced with an explosion of a warm feeling spreading through out their bodies.
When they woke up, they felt lighter than before.
" How do you feel?"asked the old man laughing in the inside.
" You didn't tell us it would be this painful" complained Trevor.
"But we're fine, we feel stronger, faster." continued Trevor.
"Good. The next seal you break will be twice the pain." said the old man smirking.
The two shivered after hearing that. They didn't want to go through the same excruciating pain. And to top it off, twice the pain.
"So what are we supposed to do now?" asked Jack.
"Now you can read the scroll and learn.
You understand, what is written much faster and will learn the moves in just a couple of tries." said the master.
Sheer excitement built up from the bottom of their stomachs upwards.
They were now going to practice magic.
They spent the whole week learning all the moves in the scroll.
Every fireball and wave in the scroll.
During the weekend they put what they learnt to practice by spurring with each other and everything was going smoothly.
They were on pur with each other.
The day before the fight, they chatted with their master at dinner.
He told them ancient stories and the whereabouts of the seven scrolls.
They then headed to bed with wide grins on their face.
They were excited they were going to fight with different people and go out of the dojo for the first time.
They had dreams that night about the fight that was going to take place the next day.
