"De.....Delilah?"
Delilah held her father's wrinkled hand and rubbed them; "yes father it's me." she cried.
Master Soimacho who had arrived only latter than Delilah witnessed a saddening scene.
The sickly man on the bed shifted his gaze from Delilah to the man who had just walked through the door.
"Soimacho?"he asked in a hoarse voice.
"Mmmm"
Delilah, switched glances between her dad and the old man over and over again confused,'They know each other?' she could only think to her self.
Master Soimacho looked at Delilah and asked, "What happened to him?"
"Some time ago, he was attacked by rogues. They were looking for the the scroll. They seemed to have cast a spell on him because his wounds have never healed. I've moved to the main town to earn money for treating him. " she said sadly.
"I can't recover until the right person absorbs the The scroll. That's only way to break the spell." the sickly man said.
Master Soimacho walked closer to the bed, "where's the scroll?" he asked.
"Why?" Delilah looked puzzled.
"I've found the one to absorb the scroll." he simply said.
The sickly man's face lit up immediately after hearing what the the visitor said.
Master Soimacho looked at the excited man lying on his bed, "Yes. There here."
"But. But how?" said the sickly man.
"Some time ago, they passed the scroll test. When they wanted to learn from my dojo. I had lost hope in ever finding the one to absorb the scrolls for ever. But I just decided to tell them do it. I wouldn't lose anything anyway. And to my surprise, they came back with the wolf's head. "
" Hmmmmm.... But you realize they'll have to face the sword dijins right. "
" Yes I know. "
" Alright then. "the sickly man shifted his gaze back to his daughter," Get the scroll. "
Delilah didn't hesitate a bit and immediately fetched the scroll and handed it to master Soimacho.
She then went to the fetch Trevor and Jack.
" Your master wants you at the training ground. " she said and then led the way.
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
Trevor and Jack looked at their master with questions in their heads but they were all answered when they saw the silver scroll in his hands.
Master Soimacho pointed at a sword rack and said, "Pick up a sword. Absorbing this scroll will be different. You'll have to fight for it."
Trevor and Jack hesitated, up until now they scrolls they absorbed were meant to be absorbed in pain. Now was the first time they had to fight for the scroll.
He then spread out his hands and gave them the scroll, "You know the drill."
"You'll be fighting a sword Dijin each. If the sword Dijin defeats one of you first, you loose the scroll. But if one of you defeats the Dijin first, you both get the scroll ."
'What the hell is a sword Dijin' they could only scratch their heads.
They opened the golden seals and the the golden dust rushed out but instead of entering their bodies, they piled up and constructed two black rock samurai like warriors with a network of larva flowing through the cracks on their thick rock skin.
They had yellow red eyes burning of anger that matched the flames on the swords they were carrying.
The boys felt an immense fear rush through their spines but there was no backing down now.
Delilah felt the most scared when the creatures showed up even though she wasn't the one going to fight them.
The creatures looked that the God of War himself.
The sword dijins immediately attacked the two boys.
Trevor and Jack now had their opponent to face now. They had to handle their issues to handle.
A sword slashed at Jack but he was able to dodge it by skin of his teeth.
He flipped his way out of the attacks.
There was no holding back this time, he had to use the magic now.
He quickly activated the the attack encasing.
He then threw a fire ball at the sword Dijin but it was to no veil.
It just absorbed the fire like it were water.
Jack wiped the cold sweat on his forr head, "Oh so fire ha no effect on them!" he thought to himself.
He could only rely on his kung-fu and attack encasing he learned.
Before he knew it, he was already on the ground. The sword Dijin raised its sword to strike again.
Jack rolled away and the sword cut threw the ground where he fell earlier.
He quickly got up and attacked the Dijin as it struggled a bit to pull the sword out of the ground.
He slash his sword threw the air creating a perfect curve but when it touched the dijin's back, it created sparks and the air was filled with the sound of screeching metal.
It didn't even create a single scratch on it.
Jack lost all rational thinking and didn't know what to do.
But then, am impulse quickly flashed through his mind.
He ran toward the dijin which was also running towards him with its sword raised.
He leaped high in the air and made a triple front flip, landing just behind the dijin kinda like how Trevor defeated Job's student.
He threw his red bright lighting fist and it formed a spectacular red line as it soar threw the air and landed on the dijins back.
Since he had attack encasing on, gavel from the dijin fell to the ground leaving a fist sized crack revealing the larva inside.
He then pushed his sword straight into the crack.
The dijin only wondered how it happened as the fire in its eyes slowly went off until they were completely dark.
The dijin froze on place as it now turned into a statue while the larva in its cracks cooled down.
Trevor, who was holding his hands over his face to guard his head from the sword about to slash him, pipped through his hands and saw that the Dijin had become a rock statue.
He breathed a sigh of relief and slowly stood up and cleaned the dirt on his clothes.
Delilah who had kept her eyes on Jack the entire time was still in awe at how he defeated it.
"So what's next?"Jack asked as he stared at the statue.
" Just take out the sword in its hands. "Master Soimacho said while pointing at the lighting sword.
Trevor and Jack did as they were told and the same gruesome pain hit them again as the fire in the sword was slowly absorbed into their body but it only lasted 6 seconds and replaced by the warm sensation again.
