Chapter 1: The Days Just Goes By

“Hey LiLao come on man get up we’re going to be late dude!”

Slowly opening my eyes being greeted by the bright sunlight coming into my room through the windows this is but another normal day at life.

“Hey~! You alive~!” hearing that familiar voice that I hear almost every day of my life I got up from my bed and opened my glass door and stepped out onto my balcony looking down I see him.

“Finally~! You know you really need to learn how to wake up properly on your own you know don’t you have an alarm set on your phone or your clock.”

The man below me shouted.

“And do you know it’s only 5:00 in the morning? There still plenty of time before classes even starts you know.”

“And it’s because of that we need every amount of time that we can spare why waste it the human body only need a minimal of eight hours of sleep to function properly anyway.”

“With the way how your sleeping you seem to be sleeping less than that!”

“Oh shut up hurry up man the others are already at the lab we’re waiting on you!”

“Oh alright hang on I just give me like ten no twenty minutes!”

“You got five!”

“Fuck you bro!” (LiLao)

Walking back into my room from my balcony closing the door behind me I went and did my daily necessities.

This was normal for me just another day in a normal life for LiLao Feng a normal guy with a normal life well if the current life style I’m living would be consider normal.

A few minutes later.

“Your late!”

“It’s only been 10 minutes just like I said how long it would have taken me to jeez~, what are you my mother?”

“Morning Lao!”

[Now you say that…...a little late for that now though] LiLao’s mind

“Yeah~, sigh~, morning Bao.”

I just could help but close my eyes and let out a sigh as I replied back to the noisy blabber mouth in front of me.

“Can you stop waking me up so early in the morning like this this is the fifth day in row of this week”

The person in question was a young man who’s the same age as me 16 years old with Asian features short-black hair that covered the sides of his head wearing the same white blazer uniform with a hexagon shape on each side of the shoulders on the outer coat with the same emblem as mine a robot in the center of a gear.

His name is Bao Da Feng he is my childhood friend snice the time we were little kids we grew up in the same neighborhood oh and just so you know we are by no means related in anyway.

He and I constantly get mistaken as relatives or siblings cause of our last names being the same but the only thing we had in common was just our last names and the fact we lived next door to each other, by no means we are related. And there was another way to tell that we have nothing in common.

“Ha Ha! Sorry, sorry little bro I’m just so excited about our little project you known and weren’t you the one who proposed this idea in the first place I sure don’t see you getting all excited for this.”

He happily said while patting my head.

“Hey cut it out! There’s already one happy moron here already no need for another one getting all wild here.”

Feeling annoyed I quickly slapped his hand away as I looked up to see his grinning face damn this guy always treating me like a little kid just because I’m small.

Bao was 176 cm (5 ft 9 1⁄2 in) in height while I was only 147 cm (4 ft 10 in) in height the difference in height was too much. This guy what the hell has he been eating? Wasn’t he the short-shit just a couple of years ago now he is a freaking giant overshooting me by more than a head. How? I always drink my milk I eat healthy meals and I ate almost the same food this guy has been eating,

Ha~, life is so cruel this isn’t fair.

“Alright let’s get going before the rest of the dorm wakes up from all your shouting I sure as hell don’t want to stick around when that happens.”

I said to him as I walked passed him.

“Ah, right, right~,let’s go.”Being remind of what would happen because of his actions Bao quickly rushed after LiLao before the storm hit.

Walking down the familiar path despite it still being dark out it was not that hard not with several nightlights to help me see in the dark and plus I’ve been on this path so many times I known it like the back of my hand.

Looking around my surrounding even though its dark I could see there were others besides us on campus grounds, some were running around in the track fields and others doing some another type of exercise.

After a couple minutes of walking we finally arrived to a five story tall building using our ID cards we opened the front doors and walked in, after walking through the hallway till we come across two large metal doors.

Opening the doors, we enter into a massive room with high ceiling littered with vehicles from simple civilian work trucks to even military hardware trucks. Weird huh? Oh before I forget this is the Sun Tzu Military Academy.

Or I should say it used to be just a mechanic engineering school this academy was also party a military outpost for the government, supposedly it was used as base of operation during the war a few years back during the “One Year War” a terrifying war that happen back in the late 21th century that left several terrible marks in the world still visible to this day.

Walking through corridor we finally come across another set of doors but there’s a screen next to this one on the right side and there was no doorknob on the doors taking out my I.D card and have it scanned after about two to three seconds the doors opened.

“Hey you’re here.”
