While moving he checked on the mini version inside. It looked the same as before physically. Its clothes and overall appearance matched his own now.
'How to make this thing do something different?' Sending his budding will towards it, he was surprised it rebounded back.
Almost as if it rejected him. But then he noticed a little membrane of black and gold swirling qi/mana around it. The little thing was cultivating! And by the looks of it, the pills he just made were changing.
'Hmm, the pills are decreasing but... the remaining ones are improving.'
A look at the Black Gold Vortex revealed it was slowly spinning. With a small thought, it slowed down to an almost crawl but didn't stop altogether.
Looking into what resembled a black hole did not feel like a smart thing. But Rexford felt oddly comforted about it.
"To be in college again.. ugh, this is so odd." Rexford looked away staring at his hands. "Despite this cultivation of supernatural arts... this body felt so weak before compared to my old one. So odd the changes of training and over saturation of Qi/Mana."
The mini version of him, however, did stop cultivating. Its eyes opened staring at him unblinking.
"So you are the.. thing.. the Spirit Refining thing for cultivation maybe. But the Black Gold Vortex is my Dantian/Soul so that is odd." Slightly confused by all the craziness he wanted to interrogate it. "Well, never mind since that is my Cultivation really, so maybe you are.." Rexford squatted down touching the mini version of him. Poking its cheek he felt it on his cheek. "Ok.. you are my body. That is promising."
Thinking a little, the mini version of him stood up. He made it do a few jumps. At this time, the only thing he could think of is that it would help him understand things more later. Too much thinking for now really to check into.
Departing his Internal Space, Rexford was happy to make it to his destination during that time. Getting better at multitasking on this level of body and mind was a bonus.

College Girls-
.
At a fairly decent hangout, three female teens were chatting amongst themselves. Well, two were. While one whined to her mom on the cellphone. Not that happy about some news.
"Rexford is coming here." Cecilia hung up the phone disappointed. Despite what Rexford told her mother Sandra before and her, it seemed there was no changing the older woman's mind just yet. "Maybe I can get him to just leave after talking a little bit. That way your birthday goes as planned."
"It's my birthday! So shouldn't I have a say in this." This one was a close friend of hers Michelle. Another spoiled brat with not a single bit of real understanding of how the city worked at times. Which was weird considering her boyfriend was a typical wannabe thug. "What does he look like? What is his family like?"
"You little gold digger." Cecilia gave her a hit on the head playfully. "You have that boyfriend already in case you forgot."
As they chatted, a few stared at a young man that came into the place. Rexford had purchased some clothes and was dressed up since it was supposed to be a party he was going to for a bit. The plan was to convince the brat to go home and he would hit up a club for a bit to unwind.
The Vortex Enhancing Pill had boosted his energy level and taken away all his fatigue. His body operated as if he had a full day of sleep and a perfect meal.
Rexford was wearing a Black Men's Formal Casual Dress Vest Tie Suit Slim Fit Tuxedo Waistcoat Jacket Coat with some black wrangler jeans. Semi casual, while not having an issue depending on where he would go later if he needed to run.
"Did you die your hair?" Cecilia said a little bewildered. "I mean.. it was dark before and close to black.. but the gold highlights are more pronounced." Her friends looked him over a few times trying to see in what way was he a loser. The clothes maketh the man and his build had improved from the cultivation definitely made him look older and more filled out. "How did you buy those clothes?"
"My hair just does weird things sometimes in the light." Rexford smirked. "I bought the clothes with my own money. A little bit of a quick business venture but it should pay out more later."
He folded his arms looking at the three. The bleach-blonde-haired girl focused more on her drink but looked up every now and then at him.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
'Hmm, that's the chick with the family issues according to the "Butcher's" past. Eh, let her deal with that on her own. Not really worth the trouble right now. But then again.. she has a few guys trying to get her. The best way to make a name for me later, is by a little curb-stomping.'
*Swirl!* A little bit of Qi circled around Rexford. His desire for Violence kicked up a little.
"So you are Rexford eh?" Michelle asked. "Not much to look at." Seeing as her friend was not interested in him, she thought about maybe having some fun at his expense later. "You want to go after one of the hottest Socialites in the city...."
Cecilia shivered a little as she felt a cold chill down her spine.
"You are vastly mistaken." Rexford stopped Michelle there very rudely. His grin turned a little malicious. At the last minute, he pulled it back into a playful scowl. "I am not interested in her and she is not interested in me. You should get that through your head, little bimbo. I don't know what all Cecilia said before I got here really, but I don't fucking care. She does not know me at all."
"Tch! Who gave you the courage to talk to me like that!?" Michelle did not like to be interrupted. Seeing as Rexford was just a nobody, who dressed up a little bit, she was determined to take him down a few pegs for real now. "Just wait.."
*Woom!* A wave of Qi brushed against the loud girl. She shivered a little before falling back down in her seat. Making eye contact with Rexford gave the impression she was looking at a bottomless pit.
"Should I discipline you instead of your parents?" Rexford was about to walk over to her side of the table and do just that. "You are not to old to get a spanking you know."
The third girl who remained quiet shook a little at that. Her name was Page Smith and originally she dies a tragic death over some nonsense or another. Spending so much time close to her had allowed the Fear settled deep inside to be pulled out by him.
"He is just messing with you Michelle!" Cecilia tried to mellow the situation down quickly. "Rexford is a bit of a wild child aunty said. "It is a bad joke going to far! Sit down and tell me what you drew recently!"
The situation settled just a little bit after that. Michelle did not think for a second he was joking. Especially with the way he looked at her but left it alone until her boyfriend arrived. She would use him to fix the bumpkin just right.
"You draw?" Page asked surprised. The uncomfortable atmosphere needed to be forgotten anyway.
"Yeah for business only and hobbies. No interest in being an art student or anything like that." Rexford pulled out his notebook that had a few other things written and sketched in it. "Feel free to take a look if you want to."
"Sure." Page grabbed the notebook and flipped through it slowly. "Definitely attention to detail." The images of a few places he passed by while traveling in the car and earlier in the taxi were nicely sketched. "I plan on going to the best Performing Arts School in the Country myself after a year at the local college."
To her the local college was just that and not something she really set her sights on.
"How nice, it is good to have dreams." Rexford nodded at her "Quite a few things were said about you on the schools' page. Doesn't look like the local college cares about student privacy much. Damn near have the itinerary of each student available with all the focus it puts on "Social Activity" no safety whatsoever."
"Humph, no one would dare act outlandish at the school." Michelle said with contempt. The side glance she got from her friends left her with the feeling of betrayal. They were supposed to back her up. "She is a buzz celebrity already, so that has no bearing if she is one at school to."
"Believe it or not, her funeral and the others as well like her is their fault. Rich brats get snatched up all the time." Rexford didn't care enough to try and convince them. 'This is how people get snatched up. Complacency, I wonder if I can find some mercenary work to increase my business contacts quickly? The military connection with the help of the Bo's will be easy enough. I should take this time to message the original Rexford's friends back home. Need to help build up the image of me changing really quick for later.'
The Hyrancus Family was easy enough to deal with, but the Phasis family for the mother's side would be a pain in the ass. After messaging each of them, he checks the net for anything on the stock market.
As Rexford let them get back to talking, Page kept taking glances at him. Almost drawn to his eyes. But the overall presence around him was very mysterious. Cecilia stubbornly looked away at Michelle to keep her happy.
It wasn't long before the teens' ride showed up.
"Honey!" Michelle ran out with a slightly wronged expression on her face. She faked tears whining about what Rexford said to her faster than the others could stop her. "You have to get payback for me!"
Cecilia and Page didn't say anything to the others' antics. They were used to it a little.
Her boyfriend, Chad Thompson listened to every word she said taking a few glances at the young man she bad-mouthed on the phone. Right before he could make a move, a black SUV came up.
The Bo family sent another driver to pick up the medicine. Rexford moved to the back of the SUV and pulled out a set of the pills. It was just better business to give them some that he had right now.
"Magic treasure?" The Bo bodyguard just assumed Rexford used a magical treasure to pull the pills out of nowhere. He would report that back to his master the moment he returned. "Oh, here is a bonus for getting it done so fast."
"Getting it done... that was just some of it. The pickup date is the same as before for the rest." Pocketing the card into his wallet, Rexford waved the man off. "Tell that little cutie Cassandra she better not take more than one either."
"Yes sir! Pleasure doing business with you!" The Bo guard got back in the SUV and drove off. 'He called the young miss little cutie! No way will her father not wanna know about this! It has been so hard to find someone who wanted to be with that little lioness!'
"What is it punk?" Rexford gave the phony thug Chad a challenging look. "I don't like men like that so don't stare at me so heated. Will make me think you want to fight to."
Before the redhead could respond, a pulse of Qi erupted inside Rexford. Information entered the mini version of him that was relayed to him directly via Black & Gold lines.
'Agent? What agent?' He knew it was something dealing with the Bo family but it didn't give a direct name. 'Something to look into in a bit. Ah so much done in a few days, need to still improve faster and get money.'
