Hundreds of teenagers gathered in a vast forest, armed to the teeth with dangerous weapons and magic potions.
Standing infront of this large crowd was a large man with brown hair who radiated strength and honour.
"Good morning first-years..."

"Upon graduation, most of you will enlist into the military, meaning you will primarily be fighting against other magic knights. To prepare for this future, today you will be fighting against your classmates." He continued.
"To mitigate the chances of death or serious injury, you will be fighting with a few precautions."
"You will all be making use of the 'Teleportation magic protocol' facilitated by the magic crystals embeded in your breastplates and a few of the assisstants."
'I wonder how this works.' His curiousity piqued by the instructor's words, Adonis glanced down at the white crystal in his leather breast plate.
"The protocol will scan every single attack that is sent your way, assessing its threat level. When it detects the attack has the potential to end your life or induce life threatening injury it will instantly transport you out of the forest, resulting in your elimination." Professor Albinus explained.
"What if you manage to block or dodge the attack? Will the protocal still kick in?" A student from Class B asked.
"No it will not, the protocol will only take affect when the attack is less than a fraction of a second away." He clarified.
'That makes sense, it'd be unfair if students were eliminated just because of the threat of the attack.' Adonis acknowledged.
< Battle Royale- Every single first-year will compete in a battle royale, 'Every man for himself format.'
Rules:
Students may use any weapon they choose.
Should a student die there will be no consequence for the killer.
Students may use Aura, whether it is Earthly or Holy.
Students may use magic.
Students may carry a maximum of three magic potions.
Students may not carry any magic items.
Elimination:
A student is eliminated when they leave the designated area.
A student is eliminated when they die.
A student is eliminated when they're 'Safety crystal' is destroyed, triggered or damaged.
Scoring:
The ranking of the students will be determined by how many other students they have eliminated and how many other students are left.
The battle royale will conclude when there are five students left.
Rewards:
The student ranked 1st will receive 3 pink rank magic crystals.
The students ranked 2nd to fifth will receive 10 white rank magic crystals.
The students ranked 6th to 20th will receive 40 unranked magic crystals.
Should a student outside of Class A finish in the top 10 they will instantly be transferred to Class A, stealing the spot of another student.
Penalties:
Students who are eliminated first (The first 20) will not have a semester break.>

'I wonder how many people are in this area.' Dressed in his usual leather armour and black tunic, Adonis walked through the forest's long grass.

Choosing to be cautious in her approach, Vera took a few steps away from her opponent.
'Imagine if I actually defeat someone from Class A.' Marcus Romano, a tall young man with black hair smiled.
"...Ah!" Closing the distance between him and Vera, Marcus dashed forward and swung his longsword gracefully.

'Why's he so fast?!' In order to evade the fellow magic knight's attack, Vera crouched down.
Continuing in his ruthlessness, Marcus attacked once more, bringing his longsword diagonally toward Vera's shoulder.

'I need to attack!' Barely managing to evade Marcus's second attack, Vera frowned.
"Blaze magic: Flame Grenade!" Using her non-dominant hand, Vera summoned a small scarlet flame.
"Don't play unfairly." Marcus shook his head, disappointedly and brought one of his hands toward Vera's.
"Water magic: Profusing Spring!"
Just as his hand was about to collide with the bright flame, Marcus discharged an overwhelming body of water from his palm.

"What?!" Stunned by her magic being so easily nullified, Vera took a step backward.
"Hehe!" Taking this opportunity to increase the pressure, Marcus thrust his left leg into her gut.
THUD
"Kya!"
"Apparently they let anyone into Class 1A." Marcus taunted once more and kicked Vera in the jaw, sending the girl flying into a nearby tree.
BAM
RUSTLE RUSTLE
"Oww..." Despite the constant throbbing in her head, Vera managed to get up, only to be greeted by the Class 1B standing before her with his longsword raised above his head.
"I wonder how you even got in... Is your loud mouth sister as weak?" Marcus chuckled, his longsword radiating a generous shroud of Earthly Aura.
"What did you just say?" Vera whispered.
As the words left the red-haired girls lips, the temperature rose...
"I sai-"
"You know nothing about Veda..." Vera said sternly.
Unwilling to let the battle drag out any longer, Marcus brought his blade down swiftly.

"..." Vera reacted briskly, dashing out of the attack's path, avoiding all harm and the threat of elimination.
"Huh?!" As his blade harmlessly collided with the cold soil, Marcus frowned.
"..." Moving at a speed that even surprised herself, Vera kicked slashed Marcus's upper thigh.

"Arghh!!"
'How did this even happen!'
"..." Vera opened her unarmed hand and placed it near Marcus's face.

"No honour." John shook his head and rotated his mighty spear rapidly, preparing to engage a few students from the lower classes.
"AHHH!" Leading the charge was a boy from class 1C who wielded a gladius in his right arm.
"Not only are you dishonourable but you're aslo really slow." John shook his head and jabbed his spear into the magic knight's abdomen, triggering the 'Teleportation protocol.'

Hoping to catch the Rising Star off guard, a girl from class 1C slashed at John's upperback using her spatha.
WHOOSH
"You're next?' Employing his right leg, John kicked the girl out of the air, forcing her to the ground.
BAM
"I don't stand a chance!" Seeing his predicament has hopeless, a boy from Class 1D tucked his tail and made a run for it.
-sigh- Unwilling to let the coward escape, John hurled his spear toward the back of his head.
