Adonis P. Vindicta (23 eliminations)

'I'm running low on mana... This magic efficiency problem is becoming very annoying.' Adonis sighed.

"At least pay attention to us!" A student swinging a gladius shouted.

"This cocky bastard!"

"Charge him!"

'Lord Eos would scold me for my sloppiness.' Snapping out of his daze, Adonis kicked one of his opponents in his chest.

"Arghh!"

[...Has been eliminated.]

'Their strategy is good in concept but lacklustre in execution.' Adonis shook his head pitifully.

"How's he so strong?!"

"So it's true... He is Tier 9!"

'I may be a whole tier above them, but they're forgetting something. Our gap in strength isn't as significant as they make it out to be... They can overcome their physical disadvantage with magic. One thing I've discovered about Inferno magic is that it lacks any enhancement capability, the best it could do is add the soul-harming element to my attacks... It's incapable of enhancing my attack speed or force output like many other magic affinities.'

'It's a magic affinity solely focused on killing and destruction.

Frightened by the Rising Star's brief display of power, the first-years staggered backwards.

"Your hesitation will be your downfall," Adonis whispered before he slashed his gladius at both opponents, eliminating both with ease.

"Hmm... I wonder where the rest of the class A students are."

'I want to prove you wrong Mars.' Adonis managed a smirk before dashing in the northern direction.

Lutz van Alexia (12 eliminations)

"All that effort for not even a scratch, you're all pathetic." Lutz shook his head in disappointment while he watched his defeated opponents disappear into mana particles.

"Well, that type of performance is expected of a top-five rising star." A brown-haired girl perched upon a tall tree and smirked.

"You've been watching this whole time... If you wanna fight, let's get it over and done with." Lutz scowled.

"You're so confident, it's cute." Lucia giggled and drew her sica, making it clear she had no intention of merely watching.

"You would've had better chances joining the others."

"I have more honour than that. What do you take me for?" Lucia scoffed and left the comfort of the large branch.

THUD

"Honour won't keep you in the event." Wasting no time, Lutz darted toward his opponent, eager to thrust his rapier into her petite body.

"I barely touched the ground, how impatient." Lucia sighed, lifting her blade to intercept Lutz's.

CLANG

Determined to land an attack, Lucia threw her lead leg at Lutz's thigh.

Reacting swiftly, Lutz took a step back; completely evading his classmate's assault.

"You're fast!" Lucia smiled bitterly.

Betraying her elegant demeanour, Lucia increased her aggression; ruthlessly slashing at Lutz's throat.

"..." Playing defence once more, Lutz lowered his head and calmly let the blade brush against his golden locks.

Responding with a deadly counterattack, Lutz pivoted his body and propelled his rapier towards Lucia's ribs.

'I can barely keep up!' A bead of sweat trickled down Lucia's face as she manoeuvred her torso away from danger.

'If I don't land an attack I will lose!' Panicked by Lutz's superior speed, Lucia sloppily swung her sword toward Lutz's chest.

Lutz scoffed at Lucia's attack, optimally stepping back to avoid the curved blade.

SHING

'Okay... The distance is going to give me some time to breathe.' After consoling herself, Lucia gathered a large amount of mana in her left hand.

"Wind Magic: Splintering Zephyr!"

WHOOSH

Lutz promptly blocked using both his arms, the gust pushing him backwards and causing his bones to creak uncomfortably.

"Arh!"

"Hehe." Capitalizing on the distance once more, Lucia thrust her hand forward and summoned a grey magic circle.

"Wind Magic: Splintering Zephyr!" Lucia promptly released a powerful gust of wind from her hand catching the unsuspecting noble by surprise.

WHOOSH

"Argh!" Struggling to maintain his balance, Lutz was blown back a few meters; leaving a large trail in his path.

'Her casting speed is something to be wary of.' While he struggled to get up, Lutz sharpened his piercing blue eyes on the girl before him.

"You got up quickly." Lucia marvelled.

"You talk too much." Lutz sharply exhaled and harnessed his Earthly Aura into his needle-like blade.

DUMMM

"You're ruder than they say." Lucia mockingly pouted.

'The famous Alexian Arts.' She readied her guard by raising her sica.

"Alexian Arts: Puncture!" Enhancing his speed with gale magic, Lutz dashed forward and thrust his rapier toward Lucia's heart.

'Too fast!' After her body and movements with Earthly Aura and wind magic, Lucia managed to evade Lutz's mortal blow... Although not without consequence.

Lutz's sword pierced the girl's upper arm, creating a deep wound and sending a sharp pain reverberating throughout her entire body.

SPLURT

"Ahh!"

Ruthless in his manoeuvre, Lutz retracted the blade and delivered a kick to the side of her body, sending her flying into a nearby tree.

BAM

'I'm wasting too much stamina here, I should end this quickly.'

"I thought maybe cause we're both in Class A I'd have a chance, especially since he'd been tired by those fools... but he's too strong!" Lucia whispered, her words distorted by the rapid accumulation of blood in her mouth.

"I should ru-"

"Alexian Arts: Puncture!"

[Lucia van Twist, Class A has been eliminated.]

"Where to next?"

Luna Triksta (17 eliminations)

"Boring..."

"You're all so boring!" Frustrated by the fragility of her opponents, Luna kicked a class B student in the chest, activating the safety protocol.

[...Has been eliminated.]

sigh "Where are all the Class A students... Hell, I'll settle for a class B weakling." She shook her head.

'Imagine if I found him!' Unable to contain her excitement, Luna grinned menacingly.

RUSTLE RUSTLE

"Grape!?" Drooling from anticipation and greed, Luna snapped her head toward the vegetation to the East.

'It isn't Grape but their aura is decent.' She smiled.

"I'll settle for the small fish!" Luna released all the tension in her legs and dashed toward the sound's origin.

tap tap tap tap

"HAAAA!!"

'Someone strong is coming... A Rising Star?!' A blonde girl with hazel eyes focused on the maniac sprinting at her.

Acting on her pugnacious nature, Luna slashed at Sexta's neck, greeting her with a deadly assault.

Sexta displayed exceptional skills and instincts and unsheathed her gladius blocking Luna's attack in one swift motion.

CLANG

"Luna Triksta..." Sexta grunted.

"You didn't break immediately... This'll be fun!" The Lunatic grinned.

After a few seconds of intense pushing from both sides, Luna retracted her blade and slashed at Sexta's waist.

SWISH

'I can somewhat keep up.' Sexta quickly changed her blade's trajectory and intercepted the attack once again.

CLANG

"Not bad." Impressed by her opponent's reflexes, Luna reversed the grip on her sword and swung it at Sexta's head.

"Don't underestimate me, I'm also in Class A!" Determined to survive their encounter, Sexta lowered her head and evaded Luna's blow.

SHING

'I can't let her keep the initiative.'

"My turn!" Sexta thrust her gladius forward, sending towards Luna's gut with insatiable bloodlust.

DUMMM

'She got faster!' Luna smiled before she contorted her body and moved out of the way.

"Lightning magic: storm armament!"

CRACKLE CRACKLE

Having coated her blade in lightning magic, Sexta swung her blade with heightened speed and strength; aiming at Luna's knees.

"Haaa!"

"Shit." Unable to match the blade's speed, Luna received a deep slash in her right knee and staggered backwards.

SPLURT

'My right leg's fucked up.' Luna exhaled.

'Okay... All I need is one more attack.' Sexta smiled, reluctant to let her excitement get the best of her.

"That was good." Luna chuckled.

'Why does she look... Even happier?!'

"This injured leg is a good enough handicap."

"H-how is that good?" Sexta stammered.

"Hehe, This is going to be fun." A brown magic circle formed near Luna's injured knee and excreted a mudlike substance.

'She's making a bandage out of magic? That magic control is amazing, I thought only Amber Shine was on that level."

"Thank you for waiting... I promise there'll be no more interruption." Luna smiled.

'What?! What was I waiting for, that was my chance. ' Snapping herself out of her daze, Sexta pointed her gladius at Luna's nose.

DUMMM

"Wind Magic: Exhale!" Initiating the encounter once more, Luna blew out a large gust of wind from her lips, sending her opponent flying backwards.

WHOOSH

'She ejected magic from her mouth?!' Overwhelmed by her opponent's spell, Sexta grunted and struggled to control her flight.

"Impressed? Let me show you more!" With assistance from a wild tempest, Luna chased her opponent, sword in hand.

"Arghh..." Now rid of her shock, Sexta firmly planted her feet on the ground and summoned a magic circle above her head.

"Lightning Magic: Storm Stre-"

"Your spell casting is too slow!" Interrupting Sexta's spell, Luna struck Sexta's cheek with her fist.

BAM

"Arghh!"

"You're too agitated, relax... Fighting is supposed to be fun!"

"S-she's... S-he's..."

Insane.
