Charles' Pov
I drowsily rubbed my eye, my sleepiness dragging me back to sleep. Only for a sense of danger so powerful wakes me from my sleepy stupor, emanating from my side.
I raise my arms up, in guard. Only to hear a burst of amused laughter, laughter which I am all too aware of.
I look towards the man named Viktor, his cane close to my face. He spoke, his face excited. "Oh my, I am quite glad that the Hyper Intuition seems to be in working order."
I sigh in exasperation. Well, at least I know Hyper Intuition works. I yawn, trying to go back to sleep. Viktor pokes me on the cheek instead, trying to wake me up. I wave his hand off me, a gesture which he effectively dodges.
I sit up, expression irritated. Viktor merely smiles and chidingly spoke, "My dear apprentice, it is best to start waking up," He pulls on my blanket. "One must seize the morning they are given."
I groan as I drowsily stood up. "So you say." Viktor spoke, his voice filled with curiosity, "What has taken your attention to? Let yourself sleep so late."
I freeze and look back to my bed to see my grandfather's book. I had spent the whole night reading it, checking all its proposed concepts.
No wonder mother spoke highly of grandfather's magical ability. The various theories and formulas scattered throughout the book are revolutionary.
The capability of quantifying magic by the usage of small-sized caellum. Conducting magic, through the use of sequencing, it means the capability of programming complex magic,
For all intents and purposes, this is a theory for the creation of a magical computer. A computer that is capable of limitless possibilities.
The knowledge that shouldn't get out of this book should I burn it then? I shake my head. No, that's ridiculous. Advancement like this only comes in a millennium.
Taking it away from this world would hinder its progress. I'd rather just not have it disseminated at a time filled with world-dominating reincarnators.
Perhaps, once the dust settles, only then can I have it published. Then again, the technology described seems to be only possible with the size exclusively mined in Caehal.
I shake my head once again, and It doesn't matter. Today is my birthday. I can think of any world-changing decision tomorrow.
I hear clapping, and an annoying voice enters my ears, "Hellooooo, anyone there." He knocks in my head, making me wince. "Yeah, yeah, I'm here."

I ignore him as I dress, anticipating an eager knocking coming from the door. I finish dressing in my clothes, and the knock came baring down the door.
I open it to see mother's excited smile, and I smile at her. Happy that she seems to have already moved on from the sadness and sobbing of yesterday.
We hug each other happily, with mother excitedly carrying me in her arms as she excitedly talked about her plans to spend my birthday with me.
I listen to her attentively, only for her to stop. I look in the direction where she was looking to see Adelaide, guarded at her side by men of the delegation.
Mother waves at the princess, walking to her closer. Adelaide mischievously smiles at me as I hide my face in embarrassment.
After all, she is aware of my reincarnator status. To her, I look like an adult man in a child's body, being carried by his mother.
Mother now stands over her. She spoke with a bit of a smile. "Hello, princess Adelaide." Adelaide curtsies, "It is nice to meet you, Queen Annabelle."
Mother's smile turns brighter as she walks forward, beckoning Adelaide to follow. "Would you join us for breakfast?"
Adelaide looks at her, whose expression is a bit confused. She nods politely. "I'd be delighted to." Mother lets me down, and I walk to her side.
We continue in silence, stopping only in one of the luscious gardens, with a round table elegantly embellished. Mother sat at the chair, beckoning us both to our seats.
Mother's serious expression makes me and Adelaide nervous. Only for it to be exchanged by a happy grin.
Mother excitedly spoke as she looked towards Adelaide. "I hear you and Charles have met," Adelaide nods. "Uh yes, we met during the parliament session."
Mother nods. "I see. I hope you and my son got closer," Mother asks, hopeful, all the while embarrassment filling me in.
Mother puts her hand on her cheek, showing a worried expression. "It's just, I wish my son would have more friends."
Adelaide giggles at me, my face turning redder. I sigh and childishly spoke, "Mama, is all the friends I need."
The words shock mother, making her hug me lovingly. "I know, baby, but I wish for you to have more fun." I smile to myself as I sink deeper into her hug.
Mother moves away as the servant arrives, serving us breakfast. Mother holds up a fork, gesturing to the food. "Well, eat up."
I slice myself some pancakes as the two women chatted. Mother spoke first, "So, princess Adelaide, how has your stay been within our kingdom."
Adelaide wipes her mouth with a napkin and smiles. "The people have been quite hospitable," She looks towards me, eliciting a sinking feeling. "I've also struck quite a friendship with Prince Charles."
Mother claps her hand in excitement, "Oh, I dearly wish you keep at it, though the future remains uncertain,"
She put her hand to her heart, "I hope that the two of you could remain as friends." I nod. I can't deny that my social circle is mostly my family.
Though being friendly, Adelaide will surely bring complications due to her wish to participate in this wargame. Unfortunately, I cannot continue denying the fact that our fates remain intertwined.
I nod to mother more eagerly and with her seeing my agreement. This results in a smile on her face. She picks me up, putting me in her lap.
She took her fork and proceeded to feed me. "Since my baby has been so nice to our guest, mommy will take care of you."
The words make me whine in both embarrassment and delight. Adelaide giggles in her hand, amused by my embarrassment.
This continued through breakfast as Mother and Adelaide chose to tease me. Resulting in an all-around joyous morning breakfast.
