Being pushed back Xandria stared in intense focus trying not to let the man who continued to barrage her with attacks. For someone who appeared to be human, he moved at such a speed that all she could do was simply focus on blocking his strikes, in an attempt to mitigate the damage he could do to her.
Having taken a good bit of damage from his bayonets' she was loosing a decent bit of blood, although the pain was minor, although the exhaustion she should've felt from her blood loss never came to pass. She continued to match the speed of the man as much as she could.
She couldn't understand why he would attack her unprovoked, though she really didn't understand much of anything in this moment, not even the words he spoke.
Ducking under one of his slashes she'd swing up hoping to catch him off-guard. Only to be met by his foot to her gut sending her through the doors of a nearby church.
Looking at the ceiling of the church with a blank expression on her face. She made a small O shape with her mouth as she took in the brief sight of the architecture before quickly rolling out of the way as the man brought down an axe kick.
Honestly the man was surprised with how well she was doing against him. Being a hunter that has dealt with plenty of her kind before he had to give it to the girl, for she was well trained, Well as trained as one could be against him.
He was getting tired of this fight nonetheless, even though it was obvious she was only defending herself, being an infected she couldn't grow tired or fatigued from physical exertion. Hell they didn't even really need to sleep at all.
Which in this case, he needed to finish this up quickly. If he wanted to keep his chance of winning this fight against her.
Pressing the triggers on his guns he shot only two bullets, which were the only he needed to shoot.
As they flew out of the gun into the air, the first thing Xandria noticed, were that the guns weren't aimed at her when the bullets were shot. In fact, they were aimed at the walls. In that moment the bullets were consumed by blue energy before streaking away from the walls and in her direction. Followed by the masked man.
Three things targeting her.
Standing strong as all three quickly approached her, she had to do something quick. Though before she could react to it the bullets sped up faster than she could react to before they slammed into her body sending her careening back into one of the pews.

The man hop, skipped, and flipped before swinging down with his blades attempting to cut through her. Though instead of doing that she had managed to block with a chain.
When had she slipped that out?
grunting as she pushed against the blades, Xandria felt pain beginning to flow through her body. It was a sensation she didn't like one bit. As one who didn't have any emotions, it was a feeling that filled the void a bit. The doctor had said in the past she would take in different experiences. Ones that were good, and ones that were bad. The pain she felt would probably be filed under bad if she were to guess, she'd have to ask the doctor if she survived this.
Spirit continued to push himself forward feeling his lungs beginning to burn, almost as if they were about to burst. His legs barely could even support him at this point. Honestly he was surprised that his body hasn't given out on him.
Though that wasn't really much of a thought he could afford to have, not of her wanted to continue moving forward.
he needed to press on, he had to. If he wanted to see them again, if he wanted to see his family again.
Gripping the remains of the kendo stick tight in his shaking right hand. Doing everything in his power not to drop the only weapon for survival that he had. It was hard to hold onto it, from the throbbing pain his hand was in, along with the generous coating of blood he acquired from striking the dead.
Glancing around he tried to look for something, some place he could hide in, some place he could survive in.
It was then his gaze focused on the church his family would go to on occasion. Though in recent years it had been a moment. With Spirits father being a British doctor he didn't follow the typical Japanese traditions of visiting the local shrines as Spirit and his mother often did. Though he tried to get along with the Japanese traditions, it was still one part of his fathers life that he stuck to. Though it wasn't anything that bothered Spirit. He appreciated the opportunity to see how others viewed life and divinity.
Gritting his teeth, Spirit pushed himself forward feeling his legs beginning to give some. He tumbled before catching his balance.
An undead crossed into his path, and before he could think. Spirit used all of his strength to chuck the remains of the kendo stick right at its head. Knocking it into a slight daze before Spirit forcefully pushed past it.
One step, one more step. Repeat. One step, one more step. Gotta make it. One more damned step. And this hell would be behind him. Him if only for a moment.
Pushing himself through the large double doors, he paused just a few steps inside. Taking in the sight of a figure clothed all in black, and a young girl in purple. Fighting in the middle of the church. Only for them to pause mid combat to look at him. The figure tilting his head in a sense of confusion. The girl on the other hand ran towards him holding two sickles in her hands.
The words she spoke next weren't ones he expected to hear. Especially in this kind of situation.
"Spirit. Doctor Amagai sent me to find you and bring you to him. Please come with me." She spoke in an empty tone her purple eyes showing not a single bit of emotion.
