I saw a very annoyed Alex Dunphy stop at her trails as she saw me." Dad, please tell Luke to behave." She soon recovered and said with obvious anger. " Honey, don't be mean to your brother. There was an inflatable playhouse that was being set up as we reached the front yard. There were also some men sitting up in some ziplines.

" Phil, honey, are you sure this isn't a bit much?", I heard Claire say while carrying some plastic boxes with some kind of art and craft beads." Well, we always kinda forget his birthday and I want it to be memorable." As she was saying this a truck carrying a portable climbing wall backed into the front yard. "Oh, Phil...is that a climbing wall? I don't think that's safe." Claire said with her anxiety levels bursting through the roof. "See that's why I didn't tell you this..." Phil and Claire started rambling at each other while Haley walked near us and announced. "Mom, just so you know, Dylan can't have mayonnaise...Hey Miguel, you are here early. " leaving a very perplexed Claire.

"Hey there Haley. I just arrived. Is Dylan coming?" I asked her. " Yeah. He's coming.", Haley just chirped. "Oh, is that necessary honey?", Claire said with a wary expression. "She can't get away from her boyfriend for at least ten minutes without his tongue in her mouth." Alex who just arrived mocked her sister who got back at her by commenting how she won't be getting any boyfriend by being a need.' I left the Dunphy couples to bicker with each other and went to find Luke to give his present. He was already fully in hyper mode and his friends have already started to arrive." When I got out again, I saw Phil talking to a seemingly beautiful girl who had a very weird expression listening to Phil. She had this whole jungle safari attire going on with her and had a wagon that had reptile pictures.

As I went near, I heard Phil apparently being disappointed that the bearded dragon didn't breathe any fire. "Hey, that's a nice collection you have there." I commented on her collection of reptiles while approaching her. "Oh...yeah I ...uh... do have some reptiles I guess." She said while having a flustered look on her face. I just laughed lightly. "Oh, is that a scorpion? I located a box that contained a poisonous scorpion." Yeah. It's an Asian Forest Scorpion and is venomous. Isn't he so adorable.", she said as if she was looking at her baby. 'Okayy....beautiful but crazy.' I added a mental note. "Well, good luck today I guess Tanya." I said after glancing at her name tag. She just cordially smiled and decided to do her work.

As time passed, I saw the guests arrive. But I then spotted a very disturbed and shaking Phil, backing away from something. ' Oh yeah, I forgot that he had the fear of clowns.' He was freaking out at the sight of Cameron dressed up as Fizbo, his Auguste clown persona.

I approached Phil. "Is everything alright Phil? You seemed to be a bit shaken." I asked him." Clowns....I kinda don't like them at all..." He said with a very good amount of fear in his tones." Oh....you have the fear of clowns Phil. Don't worry you will be surprised how many actually have the same fear as you Phil." I comforted the man." No, I am not afraid of them.... I just don't like them..." Phil interjected and just left the scene.' Potato-potato, he's too ashamed to admit them.' I just laughed at Phil's plight.

After I got a snow cone I decided to just hang around in the front for a bit. While I was just wandering around, I spotted Claire with her art and craft item sitting alone and dejected.' I can't really believe that she actually thought that the kids would love that idea.... Even the little girls are not paying any attention.

" Hey Mrs. Dunphy, I see that the counter is a bit empty.", I joked." Ha...ha ...very funny Miguel, I used to really enjoy doing this at parties when I used to be a kid. Every kid would be doing this and we used to have a lot of fun doing this." She said with an exasperated tone.

I just smiled and just say down opposite to her chair." Well, Claire times change, I guess. Kids love different things these days.", I took a pouch and started decorating with the beads. Claire's expressions went from surprised to weird in seconds. Oh, I knew what that look meant. " Mrs. Dunphy, to make it clear, I don't swing the other way." I just said in a monotonous robotic manner while looking at her dead straight in her eyes. " Oh....I never thought.... right." she tried to deny it but looking at my expression she just stopped and helped make that pouch. I will probably give it to mom.

As we were chatting and laughing occasionally, I heard a commotion inside. ' Oh, that means the scorpion's out of the box.' I just finished my work and excused myself from Claire and went inside. I saw the guests scrambling and Tanya with a very concerned look on her face looking around for something.

I approached Tanya as the Dunphy sisters were standing at a corner, watching the show. " What happened?", I asked her. "My scorpion just went missing. I need to find it. If it stings a kid it's game over." She was panicking. I just looked at Haley who just averted her eyes quickly and Alex just got out of the room with an ' I didn't do anything', expression. I sighed. I tried to remember the plot and I recalled that Cameron was the one who got freaked out by the scorpion and crashed the table spilling the beads. I just went outside and saw Cameron entertaining some kids. And I quickly spotted a black thing crawling towards the group.

" Uh....Cameron, Mitchell is looking for you in the front yard.", I just called out and that got his attention." Huh, yeah, I will meet him. Thank you." It seems that it worked as he walked past me to the front yard and it seems that he has no recollection of our encounter at the mall previously. "Tanya....Tanya.... get over here I found it". I called out and after a few seconds Tanya appeared. "Where, where is it?" She was still nervous. I pointed towards it and she found her pet scorpion lazily crawling towards us. " Oh, thank goodness. She caught the scorpion safely and put it in a box that she was carrying. "I was so scared when I lost him. And I really thought that I would be in great trouble. Thank you .... really thank you." She said and hurried to put the scorpion inside.' Trouble averted.' I thought as I went on to grab some bites.

The party went pretty well as there was no accident happened to Luke originally and after having the cake, I decided get back. I bid my farewells to the Dunphys and walked out of the house. While I was getting out, I saw Tanya loading up her wagon with the crates and I decided to give her a helping hand. "Hey, need a hand?", I asked her. "Oh, sure...", she just smiled and accepted my invitation. As I helped her carry the last cage to her vehicle, she gave me a smile." I really didn't catch your name", she said with a hint of embarrassment in her tone." It's Miguel and it was nice to meet you." She shook my hand." A big thanks for earlier. I could have been in so much trouble if something really happened. So, thank you Miguel.", I just smiled at her comment.

We spoke for a bit. As it got late she exchanged her number and gave me a quick hug that I reciprocated and said our farewells. She started her vehicle and hit the road. I was about to walk back, but then I saw a figure at the corner of my vision standing by the road. It was Penny.

Penny was adorned in a black tight jeans and black t shirt with a denim jacket. 'What the hell is she doing here?' With that thought, I walked towards her to have a talk. " Hey, I didn't know you would be here Penny. What a surprise.", I said as I approached her." Hey there Miguel. I could say the same to you. I didn't know you were gonna be here." She said with saltiness in her tone. 'Why the hell is she annoyed?', I was perplexed at her tone." Hey, is everything alright? Why are you annoyed?", I voiced my concerns. " What are you two talking about? I am not annoyed." She just scoffed and began to walk away. "Heyy... Heyy c'mon... Tell me what's wrong?" I caught her hand and she just turned. "Fine...I didn't like you talking to her." She said while removing my hand. Now that I did not see coming.
