Also I wanted to do a special double release in appreciation for the support you all give me by reading my fiction. However issues have arrive, so I'll be moving it back. No exact date have decided but at most it will be Monday, no guarantee.

“Your really are stupid aren’t you.” A voice rang out, awakening Alviss. He looked around in confusion but all he could see was darkness.

Soon God appeared in front of him with a mild annoyed look. “How any girl would think to fall in love with a mindless brute is beyond my comprehension.”

“Glad to see you too God.” replied Alviss in the same sarcastic manner. God simply snorted in response. “Anyway, where am I?”

“Take a guess.” It took him a moment before it dawned on him where he was. “Am I dead again?!”

“No, not exactly to say the least. You are on the verge of death but you lost conscious and ended up here. If you were really dead then you wouldn’t be here.”

Alviss let out a small sigh of relief but still tightened up. “But that doesn’t mean it is over yet. What were you thinking, challenging a monster like that?!” Alviss was surprised to hear God’s angry remark. He responded accordingly.

“What the h*ll could I do?! We couldn’t have out run it! There was no other opinion!”

“That’s where you’re so wrong. There is always another opinion, nothing is absolute I would assume that you would learn that after meeting me. The only reason you chose to stay was because of your pride.”

Alviss could only try to understand what God was trying to say. “What are you talking about! As if I would take that chance to endanger all of us.”

“But you did. You’ve grown arrogant over the past couple of days. First from learning the skills then the ability to learn magic. And what better opportunity would it be to test it out on a powerful monster.”

“You’re crazy! I would never do something stupid like that! I’m not listening to a word you’re saying.” Alviss brought both of his hands up to his ears. God looked at the childish act and spoke.

“If you won’t listen to me then perhaps you’ll listen to yourself.” God slowly started to dissipate and four mirror formed all around him, encasing him. His reflections appeared as he looked for an opening.

“What the h*ll is this?” spoke Alviss as he continued to look around. “All you’re showing me is my own reflection, big deal.” Soon the mirror backed up until there was a large amount of space in the center.

Then the individual reflection walked out, taking Alviss by surprise. They surrounded her, standing there. “Is this some kind of joke?”

“No it isn’t.” The sudden replied caused Alviss to jump and looked at one of the reflection that spoke. “What the h*ll. Who are you?!”

“We are you.” spoke another reflection.

“But at the same time we’re the true you.” said another reflection.

“What is that suppose to mean” spoke Alviss with annoyance on his voice. “It means that we’re you, your thoughts, fear, conscious, we are everything that make you up.” replied another reflection.

“So why are you all here, are we having a slumber party or something?” said Alviss in a mocking tone that the reflection didn’t respond to.

“I see that I’m still cynical as always. And because of that, Ayus and the rest could be dead.” What the reflection said made Alviss realized he forgot about them. “Of course I would forget about them, after all, why should I care for stranger?” said another reflection who seemed to have read his thoughts.

“What are you saying? Of course I car…” One of the reflection cuts him off. “They’re are people from another world, people I meet only through chance. I have no real connection with them.”

“It doesn’t matter if they live or not, so long as I can finally get back home.” spoke another reflection continuing one another.

“What are you say?!” screamed Alviss but was meet with no resistance. “These are your thoughts, as such they are ours as well. Even if it deep in your subconscious, it is still your true thoughts  and ours as well. responded one of the reflection.

“The resentment.”

“The fear.”

“The loneliness.”

“And finally the hatred.” spoke the reflection in unison.

“I was dragged to another world.”

“I died in the arms of whom I love.”

“I was given a task that would take an indefinite amount of time.”

“And in the end, what is it all worth?” spoke the reflection again causing Alviss to fall to his knees.

Like before , he brought his hands to his ears, trying to block them out. “Shut up. Shut up! Shut up!!” Alviss felt like a child again, whimpering. The reflection soon began to disappear and God appeared. “So do you understand your mistake now.” Said God who sounded like a parent talking down to their child.

“My fault?! It’s mostly your fault as well?!” screamed Alviss, pointing at God. “Of course I would feel that way! Like I can fully get over dying and going to another f*cking world! And who’s fault do you think that is?!”

God simply stood there taking it all in. “I see. So you still feel that way.” At this point Alviss was beyond mad at God and his nonchalant tone. He was rearing for a punch but something caught his eye.

His body was getting more transparent and disappearing, meaning one thing. “Wait? I’m not dead yet?”

“No, but that doesn’t mean you’re necessarily out of danger yet. Also I will no longer be helping you.”

“What?! “ God continued on before Alviss could. “Until you finally learn to grow up and understand your true self, I will not be there to help you.” Before he could speak his conscious was going back to his body.

………….

His eye was closed but he could felt his body wiggling and moving about. Pain slowly coursed through his body, waking him up. The surrounding started to come into place as her vision came back.

“Alviss.” a voice rang out, Alviss turned his attention towards voice. Soon Ayus, lily and the maid came into view. “Ayus?” spoke Alviss weakly. as soon as he tried to move, pain spread through body once more.

Alviss let out a small scream from the pain. “Careful.” said Ayus in a very concerned tone. “Well I’ll be damned, you’re actually alive after all.” Alviss looked over Ayus shoulder to see Lily. “It’s nice to see you too.”

“I’m amazed that you survive after getting heavily injured like that. Even with my healing magic, you still could have died.” Alviss listened in but something caught him. “In the book there were high rank healing magic, why didn’t you use those?”

“Because of these.” Lily raised her hands. It took a moment before Alviss realized what he saw. Shackled to her hands were a large pair of wooden cuffs. But it wasn’t just her but everyone else, including Alviss. “These cuffs are quite durable, mine in particular restricts my magic. That’s why you’re still in that shape, I can only use my healing magic in small increments. I was able to fix your bones but the internal damage has yet to fully heal.”

It took a couple more seconds before Alviss got his bearing down. He quickly looked around the room they were in. The room was dark and cramp with slits along the wall with light shining through. It looked to be made out of wood and it seemed that the room was rocking back and forth.

“Where...are we?”Lily could only sigh before answering. “Where do I even begin. You’ve been out for about 2 days and …” Before Lily could even continued a creaking noise was heard. Soon light filled the room and Alviss had a better look. It was shaped like a prison cell with decrypted wooden bars.

Alviss turned to the direction of the light as someone walked down. “All right here’s your food don’t ….” The girl that carried a tray of food stopped her sentence. She looked at them for a second before heading back up. Chatter could be heard before she came back with some more people.

They walked up and unlocked the door. “What’s going on?” No one answer him as they were pushed out and up. The sudden bright light blinded him but  he quickly adjusted.

“What the?” Alviss looked around to see a ragtag group of women standing around. Some were leaning against the edge while some were looking down on the mast. “Are we on a ship?”

“You’re on my ship to be exact, welcome to the Swimming Dutchess.” A voice rang out as everyone turned towards it. A single woman walked and leaned over the steering quarter of the ship.

The woman stood  as tall as Ayus. Like the others, she had on an assortment of rags and clothings. From a short scarf and leather gloves, to a short shirt and a mini cape that showed her midriff. He had on leather pants and leggings. And to top it off, she had a pirate hat on her head. Her skin was tanned, comparable to Ayus. Her hair was an amber color, that fit well with her beautiful complexion. It took a moment for Alviss to make out but her eyes were also the same color as well.

“Who are you?” Instead hearing her answer, Lily talked instead. “That’s Reyes, or Captain Scarlett as she often refers to herself. And she’s nothing more than a pirate.”

If you find this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the infringement.

“Pirate is such a… hmmm how to say a crude term. I think liberator would be much more fitting. I liberate goods and sell them.” Lily didn’t look like to take the joke. “Enough of this! What do you want?!”

She slowly made her way down while looking at Alviss. “Well as you can guess, as soon as we hit docks, we’ll be selling you and your valuables off. But if you’re asking for why I personally asked to see you, then it would be because of her.”

She pointed towards Alviss. “A Kuplios is a dangerous beast from what I heard. Running away would be the most logical opinion but instead you chose to stay and fight. You’re either insane or stupidly brave. Either way, I couldn’t help but be interested.”  Scarlett brought her hand up, stroking Alviss’s cheek. Before she could continue any more Ayus snapped her hand away.

She let out a growl while standing in front of him. “No, touch.” said Ayus in a low threatening voice of which didn’t affect Scarlett. Alviss tried to think up of something so that a fight doesn’t start out. “If we’re alive then that means you must have killed the Kuplios  .”

Scarlett let out a small chuckle before addressing him. “I wish. Earning the title of those who killed it would help spread our reputation but sadly it didn’t happen. We were docked down to check the ship when we heard the sound of battle. I guessed it was the Kuplios so we hurried it up but before we finally left, I heard a large shriek. So I assumed that some how it' was killed and I took a small group to check it out. It was in a near death state, so we a fended it off until it finally went away. So yeah, we saved your life no need to thank me.”

The tone that she spoke in only made Alviss angry. “Now that is out of the way, I have a couple of questions for you.” Scarlett snapped her fingers and one pirate with glasses walked up, holding his sword along with the infinity bag. “My assistant here is a skilled identifier. But yet these two items have seems to elude her. Would you kindly tell me what they are.”

“Bite me.” Scarlett gave a small disappointed look before kicking Ayus to the ground and planting her foot on her neck. “Either you talk or I break her neck.” She applied more pressure as Ayus was struggling.

Alviss grinded his teeth before answering. “The bag is called an infinity bag, you can store an indefinite amount of things in it. The sword is called Erstarken, it's a sword that grows and get more powerful every time you killed a powerful beast.”

“No wonder why I couldn’t identify them, the bag is a unique item while the sword is a epic class at most!” Scarlett did a jerky motion as if her eyes would fall out. Soon an evil child like smile popped up. “Today is our lucky day after all.”

She let go of her foot and Alviss helped Ayus up. “Are you alright?” Ayus coughed a bit before taking in a deep breath. “I, fine.” Scarlett and her assistant began to talk while Alviss conversed with the others.

“Let’s escape.” Alviss whispered that startled Lily. “Are you crazy?! There’s around twenty people on deck, more elsewhere.”

“Lily how close are we to the Docks?”

“I say we’re still a fair distance away, as for how much I don’t know.” Alviss took that into consideration. “I think we can make a run for it.”

Lily once again gave him the look of a lunatic. “Your plan is crazy, just like the time when we fought the Kuplios!”

“I don’t see you coming up with any plan.” said Alviss, chastising her.

“I’m waiting for an opportunity, you on the other hand are completely reckless! We won’t make it, besides we have no way of escaping.” Lily spoke with the same mannerism as Alviss.

“Yes we do.” Alviss sprang into action. He brought his hands together and formed a fireball. He increased the output and eventually burned through the cuffs. “|Acceleration.|” activating the skill he rushed towards Scarlett.

Alviss caught them off by surprise and was able to grab his sword back. He restrained her assistant, putting the sword to her throat. The others were about to attack before Scarlett stopped them.

“My, my, you’re full of surprises aren’t you?” She still kept a calm tone despite the situation.

“Let us go or you lose your precious friend and identifier.”

Scarlett kept on a poker face making it hard for him to tell if he had the advantage or not. “How about we do this instead, we fight it out.”

“Why would we do that?” asked Alviss in a confused and rush tone.

“Well it’s the pirate’s way, if there’s something one wants then you have to fight for it. “You win, you leave. If I win, well let’s leave that matter after we have our match. So what do you say?” Scarlett spoke with the same nonchalant tone

Alviss simply looked at her, weighing his opinions.

“Or we can just kill your friends here along with you and get a new identifier.” Alviss ground his teeths as he knew she was coercing him.

“Who do I fight?” Scarlett beamed a smile signaling that she wanted this outcome. “Bring me my bayonets.” Within a minute one of the pirates brought a pair of bayonets. Alviss let out go of the girl as Scarlett un-sheathed her swords.

“The rules are simply a one on one fight. You’re free to use whatever you want to try and win.” Scarlett positioned herself sideway, taking a stance with her hands behind her back with the swords pointing at him. Alviss took a stance and they waited. None choose to move and they simply stared at one another. ‘Her fighting stance, it seems way too lenient but that just means that she has a trick up her sleeves.’

It was Alviss who made the first move. “|Acceleration.|” Alviss charged in full force but Scarlett met the attack. Their weapons collided but she kept her place and pushed him back. “|Cross slash.|”

Scarlett dodged it and responded with a series of quick attacks which Alviss easily blocked. “|Upward slash.|, |Piercing slash.|, |Helmsplitter.|, |Heavy blow.|” Alviss released a flurry of skills but Scarlett simply dodged them all.

But what made it even more insulting was that Scarlett would dodge them with ease but only did  it at the last second. She also made little quips when she does dodged them that only made him more riled up.

“Stand still!” Screamed Alviss who swung wildly which she dodged and then kicked him in the back that caught him off balance. “What’s wrong, having trouble?”

His wounds started to opened up again and pain coursed through his body. “Damn it!” he spoke to himself as he struggled to get back up. He looked over to see her with the same smug look as before. ‘She’s toying with me!’ Alviss screamed in his head.

Alviss charged in once more, using another skill which Scarlett dodged again. Like last time, she dodged it very showy but that’s what he wanted. “|Horizontal slash.|” Using the skill, she used the momentum to quickly turn around. “Got you! |Fireball.|”

Alviss fired off a fireball to catch her off guard but she expected it. She brought her swords up and slashed in an X form, destroying the fireball. He was stunned at the display allowing Scarlett to kick him.

“Nice try, if you hadn’t already showed that spell then I might have been caught off guard.” Alviss could only stare as his confidence plummeted. “Damn it, Damn it!” This time Alviss just got up and swung wildly. Scarlett only needed to step aside for him to miss. His strength eventually left him and he was on his knees.

“Well, I must say, you lasted much longer than i thought, let’s end this. |Cross blow.|” She charged in and slashed in the X formation but used the back end of the sword as to not kill him. Small gash marks showed on his chest as he was knocked back into the mast.

This time Alviss wasn’t able to stand back up. “Looks like it’s my victory.” The other pirates let out cheers in response. “Now then, what should I do?” Scarlett began to pace around until she came to an answer. “I had thought you would have been more of a challenge but in the end you’re average. Now then, I’ll be teaching you a lesson.”

She snapped her fingers and two of the pirates went up to Alviss and stood him up. “Wait! You said that we have value!” Lily was screaming but Scarlett ignored her pleas.

“Yes you have some values left. Your friend here doesn’t any more. But don’t worry I won’t kill her...yet.” Scarlett slowly strolled up to Alviss. “I’ll make sure she’s humiliated and only then will she die.”

“Hurt, Alviss, kill.” A low and malicious tone came from Ayus but Scarlett ignored it and simply shrugged it off. “Now then let’s begin.” Taking one of her bayonets she pressed it against his armor.

She applied some force and moved the weapon down. A small ripple formed and got longer as she moved it down. Forming a long gash mark all the way from her shoulder to her pants. “Hmm, now what should I do? Ohh the possibilities.”

The motioned the blade under the cloth and ripped part of it off revealing part of his chest a nipple. The moment she did that, a confused look passed her face. “Don’t tell me.” She sheathed her sword and walked up to him.

The next action surprised everyone. Scarlett suddenly brought her hands down and put her hands between his legs. Alviss let out a small squeal in surpise before she retracted her hands. Soon a small laughter could be heard before it went into a full blown maniacal laugh.

“Today just keeps on getting better and better.” First some high class prisoners next the rare items and now...We have a male.” The entire ship seemed to go deep quiet as soon as she said that. “Change of plans, get the others back in their cells.”

Her pirates took a moment before moment before complying. “What about her...I mean him ma’am.” Scarlett looked back at Alviss with a giant grin. “Bring him to my quarters, I will handle him personally~.”
