Chapter 1- A meeting with God.
Hello everyone. Thank you once more for reading the chapter. Around the time of writing this, there's about 450 total views of the first chapter. Allow me to personally thank all of you for reading and I do hope you stick with it.
I would like to take this time to address a debate that went on in the comment section. Many of you are probably wondering if there will be any boy love content. The answer to that question is no. I have no intention on including that element during the initial conception of story. I do hope that these eases some of your concerns. And with that out of the way, I would like to thank AlmostMythril once more helping proofread the chapter and helping me make the chapter better.
Comment down below if you enjoyed it or see any problem and I'll fix it as soon as I can. The next chapter will be out within 1-2 days so please look forward to that. That's all for now, please enjoy the chapter.

Darkness, that was all there was. As far as the eye can see, it was all pitch black except for a small light. Anna floated among the darkness, her entire body glowing amongst the vast darkness. Anna slowly opened her eyes and looked around.
“Where…Where am I?”
She spoke but at the same time her mouth didn’t move. She was taken aback and slowly raised her hand to her mouth. She could hear her thoughts but she didn’t have a mouth.
Anna looked around and all over but all she could see was darkness.
“Is this a dream? No…No I definitely died, so does that means this is the afterlife?”
She looked around some more and began to move. She floated through the empty space, looking around for anything.
“This doesn’t look like heaven nor does it look like hell. So purgatory then? No… this is different the space around me, it feels like a void.”
“Quite astute of you.”
A mysterious voice rang through the void. Anna was surprised by what she heard and looked all over to find the source. Soon a light formed in front of her and grew brighter and brighter. The light soon dimmed and figure formed.
She stood looking at the mysterious figure before talking back. “Who…Who are you?”
The mysterious figure gave a warm hearted chuckle and replied to her. “Take a guess, You had just died, so it isn’t all that hard to guess who I am.”
“God?”
God gave a smile in response to her answer. “That’s correct.”
“Why do you look like Santa Claus?”
God or the representation of him was dressed in fairly average clothes. A pair of jeans along with a white T-shirt. His appearance was that of a man in his mid 60’s. His appearance mirrors that of Santa Claus with a big white beard with combed hair.
Once again God let out a harm hearted chuckle. “Hehe. I only look like Santa Claus because that’s how you believe I, God, would look. Everyone has their own different views. In fact there were some that believed me to be a female.”
Thousands of question ran through Anna’s head. But ultimately she decided on the most important question. “I guess first things first, where am I?”
“The Void. A space between worlds and realities that also includes Heaven as well. Think of it as my own personal space.”
Anna was trying to comprehend what God had just said. “Wait, worlds? As in more than one? You mean there are other planets with life just like earth.”
“Yes, but not in the normal sense. I didn’t create just a universe. I created multiple universes. Earth is just one of the many planets with life on it. There are many more similar to earth.
Anna stood there quietly, taking in the new information before speaking again. “Ok, so my next question. Why am I here?”
God straighten up and answered Anna’s question. “Ahh, that’s the main question is it? Well the reason for calling you here is because I have a mission for you. There’s a specific planet that I want you to go to. It’s in trouble and I want you to be its new savior. So what do you say?”
“No.” Anna’s replied so quickly and curtly that God didn’t fully comprehend it.
“Excellent! I’ll transfer your soul imm--. Wait did you just say no?”
Anna immediately replied to the dumbfounded God. “Yes, no. I refuse your offer. Just send me to Heaven and we’ll be good.”
God previous demeanor was gone, now he was panicking a bit. “Wait! Isn’t this what you want? Don’t people normally jump at an opportunity like this?”
“H*ll no! What do you think this is? Some stupid light novel or fan fiction? I just died remembered?! And now you’re asking me to do something dangerous?”
God took a second and turned his back away from Anna. Several stacks of paper appeared as he read them. “But according to the notes you are a huge anime fan and light novel reader.”
“Hold on! Who exactly is this person?”
God looked back and an image popped up. Anna was shocked by the image showed Amy.
“That’s Amy! Hold on if you were aiming for Amy then that means the truck was trying to hit her you bastard!”
Anna lunged at God, knocking him down, spinning through the void. Anna was hammering on his head as they continued to spin.God was constantly being hit as she tried to get to Anna. “Calm down. Please calm down.”
“First you talk. There’s no way you would go through the stupid cliché for no reason. You’re responsible for something.”
Anna eventually stopped and let go of God. It took a minute or two before God stood back and answered Anna’s question. “Where do I start? Sigh. This is all because I was drunk.”
“Drunk. How the f*ck does God get drunk?”
God put up his hands to calm Anna down before answering once more. “Well, being all powerful and all-knowing sometimes gets boring. So on occasions, I’ll make myself human and have some fun. You humans were my first and greatest creation, despite your problems.”
“Continue.”
God cleared his throat and continued. “I turned myself human and went drinking with a couple friends of mine. Buddha and Shiva.”
“I’m not going to question the validity of that, go on.”
Ignoring Anna’s previous comment, God continued. “Well we had a couple of drinks. Then we got in a drunken argument and I created the new world which you were to be teleported. But in my drunken action, I created the world but left out an important detail. So that’s where you come in.”
After God finished his sentence Anna brought her hands to her face and covered her eyes. “So let me get this straight. I died while protecting my friend. I died because God decided to get drunk with his friends and now you want me to fix your problems.”
“Ummm…What do you say?”
“Ahhhh!”
Anna let out a huge scream and lunged at God once more. She wrapped her arm around God’s head and put him in a headlock. She then started to pound on his head with her fists. This went on for a while before God managed to break free.
God was backing away while still trying to calm Anna down. “I understand that you’re mad.”
“Mad?! I’m f*cking livid! I just died in the arms of my best friend.” Anna screamed at God who was trying to remain calm and collected. God waited a bit before finally apologizing. “I deeply apologize for that, that was not my intention. But no matter how you much you hate me now, there’s nothing I can do about that.”
“What do you mean by that?! You’re God, you can do anything! Just pop my soul or conscious or whatever back in my body. Heck just solve your planet issue by yourself. Just make it go away!”
Anna screamed once more and God waited until she finally calmed down. “Sigh. It is true that I could do anything, but there are two things that I cannot do. When I created the universes along with the worlds and inhabits, there were two iron clad rules that I made.”
“And what exactly is that?”
“Death is absolute. Nothing can or will change that, even me. I can put your soul back on earth but you’ll either live in your old burnt body or I put your soul into a new born infant.”
Anna was shaken by what God revealed to her. She shuddered at the thought of being a walking corpse or an infant. “Can't you fix my old body or make me a new one?”
“No. Your body is no longer alive. Even if I could put your soul back the body is still dead. As for the new body that's impossible, as it’s directly related the second iron clad rule. Which is that I can’t directly interfere with the worlds that I’ve created. And by that I mean, I can’t just pop out of nowhere and solve the problem instantly. Why do you think I send whispers or messages to individual people throughout history? If I could interfere, I would have already.”
Anna opened her mouth to refute God, but what God said started to make sense. Anna anger slowly faded but quickly returned.“Why me?”
“Like I said, I was going for your friend, Amy. I thought that she would be more willingly to accept my offer. I guess we are both disappointed.” God gave a weak chuckle to which Anna snapped at.
“You have no right to say that!”
Anna spat out the last line and her anger faded away. Soon it was replaced with loneliness and sadness. She sat down and held her legs against her chest and started to weep.God kneeled down and put his hand on Anna’s shoulder. “I know that it’s no place for me to say this, but I think you should accept my offer.”
If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
Anna still had her head down. “Why should I do that?” God paused for a minute before continuing on. “Here, you’re nothing but a wandering soul, floating aimlessly in the void. At least with my offer, you’ll be able to live once more.”
“………”
God looked at Anna who still didn’t show any reaction to what God said. “Sigh. I was hoping I wasn’t going to do this but I’ll make you a deal. Do me this favor and I’ll bring you back to life in your old world.” Anna immediately looked up and grabbed God when God finished the sentence.
“But you said that you can’t bring back the dead.”
God smiled at the sudden action of Anna. “That is true. But there are ways around it, you just need to be creative in your approach.”
“Please explain.”
“I’ll destroy the current earth and rebuild it. When I rebuild it, I’ll also create your own body again. I’ll create earth two and place you back in that reality. I’ll wipe every soul’s memory and you can continue on with your life as if none of this ever happen. No getting run over by a truck, no dying and no meeting me.”
“You can do that? Wait, why can’t you do that now?” Anna was still cautious but at the same time hopeful.
“Because I’m quite drained right now. Creating a new world and every individual souls along with bodies for them is exhausting. So what do you say? It’s a win, win situation. The faster you do it, the faster you’ll be by her side.”
Anna responded to God’s statement wildly. She could feel her face becoming red. “What?!....What are you saying! Are you implying that I’m --.”
“Remember who you’re talking to.” replied God with confidence in his voice.
“……”
“Perhaps this will sway you even more to accept the deal. Just behind her book shelves, she has a couple of books.”
“Tell me something I don’t know. That’s where she hides her BL book. I already know that, she isn’t exactly subtle.”
God gave a smile that showed that God wasn’t finished. “Have you ever looked at them? Sure some of them are BL but half of them are girl on girl books with BL cover to disguise them. Also I want to add, you humans sure create some interesting reading materials.”
“Does that mean she’s lo--.”
“Even you aren’t that dense. Certainly there were signs but you mostly dismissed them.”
Anna simply stared at God in a daze. She shook her head and when she looked back at him, God could see a fiery determination in her eyes. “What exactly do you want me to do in this new world of yours?”
God gave her a heartfelt smile “You just about hit the nail when we first talked about it. The world, Terra, is splintered into warring factions. Well warring isn’t exactly the right word, tense would be a better word to describe it..”
“So I’m going to be transported to this world to lead charges against demonic forces or something along those lines?
“You are partially right. There’s isn’t exactly an evil overlord bent on world domination. What I want you to do is unite the different factions so when I regain my power, I can fix the problem I created once you’re there.”
After hearing the task from God, Anna was more fired up. “Alright seems easy enough. Just get them to not hate each other, simple.”
“I think you’re taking this way to easy. Even though the world was recently made, to the inhabits, it’s been a couple of centuries already. Civilization has already been established along with laws and order. You’ll need to understand the political standpoi--.”
Anna quickly dismisses what God was saying. “Blah, blah, blah. So long as they are untied, it will be fine. You worry about your thing and I’ll worry about mine.”
“Sigh. All right. Did I answer all your questions?”
“What should I be expecting there exactly?” Anna asked the question as she didn’t want to go in blind. God looked back. “It’s a world of magic. Magical beast, magic, monsters, advance civilization, etc… Generic fantasy stuff.”
“Ok. Next question am I going to be a baby again? Every story that I read about reincarnation involves being a baby with a unique trait and then growing up.”
God quickly replied to her question as he could see her getting a bit nervous. “No. You’ll be reincarnated in a body that I made during a moment of clarity I had that night. After I realized the mistake that I had made when creating the world I made a body. It is strong and durable, but not all mighty. If you want to rival the most powerful people in Terra you’ll have to earn it.”
“I see. Well that will certainly make things a lot easier. Now I have one more question. Why did you pick Amy of all people?”
God shifted a bit and was trying to avoid the question. “Sigh, you’re not going to let it go are you?”
“Well God just tried to get my best friend killed and as a direct result I died. So yes, I’m still pissed.” Anna replied back to God with the same curt attitude as before.
God let out another sigh and answered Anna. “I had certain criteria for the selection process.” Anna raised an eyebrow at the unexpected answer. “Criteria? And what might those be?”
“The first criteria was someone who was an avid fan of this genre and thus would be more likely to say yes. The second was that they had to be a strong and kind hearted person that would agree with the idea of unifying the world. And finally the last one, the most important one of all, the person that I chose would have to be someone that few people would mourn for.”
Anna pondered the third criteria for about a minute until the answer came to her. “So essentially you wanted someone to die who no one gives a sh*t about and that people don’t care whether that person is alive or not.”
God ignored the malicious tone. “That is not what I meant. But yes, I wanted someone who I could freely take to another world without them being depressed because they are away from their original world.”
“You know, I’m starting to hate you again.”
“That is fine, you’re free to believe whatever you want. After all I did give you all my greatest innovation, free will. Have I answered all your questions?”
Anna shook her head. “Yeah. If I have any more then I let you know.” God nodded in response. “All right then. Hold still while I open the path to the world and transfer your soul.”
God held out his hand and a small vortex formed and grew in size. Soon an image started to form as the vortex enlarge. A green planet soon formed from the blackness. The entire plant looked to be around the same size as earth.
There were continents and bodies of water on the planet. Namely there was a big continents that was surrounded by a body of water. After the portal was large enough, God turned his attention to Anna. He began to focus and her body started to dissipate.
“I don’t exactly remember where I put the body but I am sure that it’s on the human continent. There will be times when you’ll be able to talk to me via telepathy. Whenever you’re in trouble just concentrate really hard and you’ll be able to reach me.”
“Got it.” Anna continued to look at the portal while her body was disappearing. Anna body was almost gone along with her conscious. But before she finally went away, she asked the big question.
“Now that I think about it, what exactly is the problem that this world faces?” God was startled a bit and once again lowly replied. “Umm….Well, promise that you won’t get angry.”
“I’ve already got a bad feeling about this.”
“Well you see while I was drunk with Buddha and Shiva, I well… We started to a conversation, one thing led to another and I made the world based on the conversation. Essentially I created a world where 95% of the population is female.”
“What?!” Anna let out a mixture of a scream and cry at the new information. Before she could speak again, God continued on. “Now that I think about it, I believe that the body I had prepare is a male body.”
“What?! Chang--.” Anna wasn’t able to finish her sentence before her entire soul was fully transferred. The light disappeared and the portal began to shrink.
……………………………………
‘Ahh my head.’
"Anna was lying on her back on a patch of grassy ground. She sat up, and felt something wrapped around her body. Looking down she noticed she was wrapped in blankets. Ignoring them for the moment she took stock of her surroundings. She was seated beneath a large tree that was shielding her from the light. Standing the rest of the way up now she stepped away from the tree and looked around. She was at the top of a large hill surrounded by forest. After that she finally took the time to look at her new body."
Anna slowly raised her hands and inspected them. “I feel the same. The body certainly feels strong and healthy.”
While looking at her new body she remembered her last conversation with God. She panicked and threw off the blankets over her. She was completely naked, but that wasn’t what she was scared about.
