Everything was dark and Alviss’s body ached all over. He slowly opened his eyes and waited until they fully adjusted to the light beaming down on top of him. His head felt really light and nauseating.
It took a moment before Alviss finally realized what was going on. Currently he was slumped over the shoulder of one of the amazons that helped kill the beast. He looked up and around to see them moving somewhere.
“Awake, yes?” A voice called out and Alviss looked to his side to see the amazon that killed the creature was walking beside him.
Alviss now had a better look at what she looked like. The other amazon were about Alviss height but this one tower over the rest by a couple of inches. She was more decorated than the rest with fine leather and animal skin armor draped over her body and legs. Along with knee guards and skin gauntlets. She also had on fashioned jewelry ranging from teeth necklaces to small bracelets.
Her skin was tanned like the rest but she had what seemed like tribal tattoos on her body. Her hair was a solid brown and tied back into a ponytail. The body looked to be very strong and fit that matched her rather beautiful face. In one hand was an elegant spear just as tall as she was.
Alviss was still recovering but managed to answer the amazon. “Yes. But I’m still hurt.” The amazon looked at Alviss, taking in his word before answering. “Ok. Village, close. Help, soon.”
Within a couple of minutes, they reached the settlement. Alviss took in the sight as he was brought in. the entire area was surrounded by large sharpen tree trunks pointed outward. Inside was a small town like area with huts and small building spread around. While looking Alviss noticed the people around, from young to old, they all were female.
They made their way to the center where they finally laid Alviss down. The one that walked alongside Alviss started to issue order to the rest of them. ‘So she’s their leader, well it certainly makes sense seeing as how she snapped that things neck with just her bare hands.’ pondered Alviss as he continued to stare at her.
Soon a rather older amazon made her way over and kneeled down besides Alviss. She inspected the wound and grabbed out a small pouch. “This, hurt. Better, after.”
She then grabbed a handful of what looked like green powder and rubbed them on the wound. “Ahh!” Alviss let out a small scream at the searing pain. It felt like spilling hot sauce and lemonade on a cut.
The pain slowly disappeared and they continued to work on both of Alviss’s wound. While being treated, he listened to the amazon talking.
“Managed, kill, yes? Big, feast.” The amazon that went up to observe Alviss were applauding the leader for killing the beast but it was quickly silence. “No. Her, hurt, most. We, finished, beast.” the leader pointed to Alviss to indicate that he did the most work.
Chatter erupted among them as they looked at Alviss with awe. The medicine was starting to take an effect and he was feeling much better. He was also feeling a bit drowsy and had trouble keeping his eyes open.
“Good. Wound, healed. Check, body, safe.” Once again Alviss conscious was slipping but he tried to fight it and the amazon from undressing him. However he was too weak and soon drifted away. But before that he heard a shock reaction from the healer. “Male?!”
…………….
Alviss slowly opened his eye and looked around. Several man made blankets were on top of him. He was in a large hut that was filled with weird totem poles and paint all over the wall. He was sitting up slowly but stopped because of a sudden sharp pain.
He winced at the sudden pain and looked down to see long bandage wrapped around his entire chest. He touched the wound but then looked under the blanket to see that once more, he was naked. Alviss quickly looked around and spotted his bag and weapon next to a corner.
He piled up a couple of blankets and wrapped them around him to serve as clothings. He ran over to collect his stuff just as the leader came in. Alviss panicked and unsheath the sword. “Stop. No, harm, you.”
Alviss quickly calmed down and thought about it rationally. “Who are you?” The leader slowly made her way over. “Name, Ayus. You, fine?”
“Yes. I’m fine.” Ayus showed a genuine smile and came in closer. “No, hurt, you. Here.” She handed Alviss what seemed like a pair of clothes, his old leather armor. Alviss walked up and grabbed it.
“Thank you.” Alviss looked over to see the cuts was stitched together and it tooked new. Alviss started to ease up and started to change but before he let go of the blankets he looked back at Ayus.
“Umm, can you please leave?” Ayus flinched a bit and realized that she was staring. After a couple of seconds, she left. Alviss quickly got dressed in the armor and picked up the bag and sword.
He slowly made his way out of the tent. Standing outside was Ayus along with several other people that caught a glimpse at Alviss as he was making his way out. They all stared at him with wonder in their eyes.
Alviss backed up a bit at the sudden attention. “Please, follow.” Alviss drew his attention to Ayus who was already walking away. He sped up to catch up and soon they continued in to one of the large huts.
While walking he started to notice the society that was around him and looked in surprise at how far they are but still retain something special. The sky was an autumn color with the sun almost setting.
They made their way in. Alviss looked around in awe at the decoration that filled the room. Like the other one, it was decorated all over and seemed to be an important space. In the middle was a small mat with the amazon that healed Alviss.
Ayus sat down next to the healer while Alviss sat in front of them. They sat in silence for a while before Alviss talked. “Thank you for helping.” The healer showed a smile and answered her.
“You, welcome. I, elder of tribe. Here, Ayus, leader.” Alviss looked at the two before responding. “I’m guessing you didn’t call me here for nothing, you want something from me don’t you?”
The elder gave a small chuckle. “Yes. We, want nu nu to us.” Alviss eyebrows furrow as he tried to wrap his head around what exactly they wanted. “Nu nu? What’s that?” This time Ayus answered.. “We, want, babies.”
Alviss wasn’t expecting that answer so all he could do was stare in silence. His brain was fried for a couple of seconds before he finally recovered. “You want me to make babies” Alviss reiterated what the elder was trying to say.
“Yes.” replied the elder casually. Alviss thoughts were all over the place and quickly called in God.
“Alviss? What is it that you need?”
“Curious question. You said that the entire population is 95% female. So how is it that some people or civilization haven’t died out yet? You can clearly see these amazons are there look to be around 200-300 people here.”
God was silent and it didn’t help Alviss’s mood. “I know you’re still there!” After a moment, God finally answered back. “The reason for this is pretty simple. Due to the lack of male, should one try to reproduce with a female, it will be 100%.”
“So wait, if I just sleep with just one of them, they’ll get pregnant?!” Replied Alviss nervously.
“Yes. Well good luck.” God quickly said goodbye, leaving him to himself once more. He quickly glanced back at the two who were observing Alviss odd action. He forced himself to calm down and address the issue.
“Can you please give me a reason why?” Ayus and the elder talked with one another before the elder answered. “Tribe, small. No. more, babies. More babies, tribe grow.”
“I understand your standpoint but I can’t simply… just do it.” This time Ayus replied while prostrating. “Please! Only, few. Enough, children, please.”
Alviss couldn’t help but feel pathetic as he couldn’t give Ayus an answer. The elder taped on her shoulder and faced Alviss. “Choice. Please, think.”
“I will.” The elder gave a warm smile before talking with Ayus. Soon she left the tent and I was along with the elder. “Dark. Feast, soon. Check wound, eat, next.”
The elder checked Alviss wounds along with applying more medicine and changing the bandage. By the time she was done, Alviss was feeling much better.
“Feast, come.” The elder got up and left the tent, Alviss followed suit. They continued on until they reached the center where food were laid out with almost everyone sitting around. Alviss continued on until they reached at what seemed to be the head of the court.

Alviss sat down next to Ayus at the edge with the elder on the other side. “Tonight, big feast. Thanks, Ayus and male.” The elder addressed the people and all they all erupted into cheers. They continued to talk and the feast began.
Most went up and grabbed handfuls of food and just ate. Some talked with one another while the children played while eating. Alviss took notice that the ‘children’ were kids that looked to be around 9-10 and the rest are older.
Alviss didn’t have to even grab anything as countless amazon walked up and presented a small bit of food to Alviss. He accepted them as to not be rude but soon the food are piling up. He let out a massive sigh at the pile of food. “Can I even finish all of this. Why are they being so nice to me?”
“Gain, favor. Nu nu, you.” Alviss looked to his side to see Ayus responding to his question. Once again he could do nothing but continued eating.
Soon it was nighttime and the area was illuminated by totem poles that held up fires. The food was gone and soon it was a night celebration. Drums and dancers were about in the center while the rest watched.
The dancers elegantly moved around to the rhythm of the drums. Some were clapping along with the beat while most simply admire the choreographed dancing. Alviss simply sat there and watched the lavish movement.
‘Wow.’ Thought Alviss as he admire the dancers. He took notice of everything from their movement and posture. After a while of watching, he felt something in his pants. He looked down in confusion but soon realized what it was.
Alviss tightened his criss cross leg and brought both of his hands down. Ayus saw the sudden action and asked. “Wrong?” Alviss quickly look over and answered her. “Nothing, I’m fine.”
Ayus slowly looked away while Alviss brought his attention back to his problem in his head. ‘I can’t believe I got an erection, it also doesn’t help that the dancer wore less clothes than the rest.’
Alviss tried to look back at the dancer as to not draw attention but he still couldn’t get rid of the problem. ‘Damn, I didn't think a boy’s body would be this much of an inconvenience.’
The last couple of minutes were torture for him as he tried his best as to not reveal anything. Soon the dance came to a close and everyone started to go away. During that time he was able to get his body under control but that wasn’t what was worrying Alviss now.
Still standing around were a majority of the amazon who looked at Alviss. Alviss didn't know what to do or say until Ayus spoke up. “Male, decision, wait.”
Ayus spoke with a commanding voice and the other amazon soon left one by one. Ayus began to walk away as the elder came up to Alviss and lead him to a hut, “Here, sleep.”
Alviss thanked her and made his way in. It looked to be the same hut from when he woke up. The bed was made of interlocking wood similar to the hut along with animal skin blanket.
He made his way over and started to settle down. He put his bag and the sword right next to the bed. Alviss began to blow out the fire and all that was left was the night.
After getting into bed he rolled a bit to get use to the bedding before closing his eyes. He started to relax and slowly drifted into sleep. However that was short lived.
Just after he finally got some sleep he felt something heavy on his body. He quickly opened his eyes and tried to move but couldn’t do anything. Even in the dark his vision was good enough to identify what was going on, it was Ayus.
He quickly looked around to see if there were anymore but it was just her. “Ayus what are you doing?” She kept her face low so Alviss wasn’t able to make out her facial expression.
“I. I, nu nu.” Even though Ayus spoke, it felt a bit off. “I thought you said that you would wait for my answer.” said Alviss but it didn’t seem to get through to Ayus.
“I...I, nu nu. Please.” Once more Ayus spoke but he quickly counter their statement. “Are you doing this because you want to or is it for you tribe?” This time Ayus looked up with a very conflicted face.
“How about we talk about this? All right?” Taking a moment into consideration, she finally got off of Alviss and they talked. “While eating I noticed that most of the youngest children were 9-10 years old.”
“Yes. New, babies, new generation.” Alviss once again took into consideration of what Ayus said before answering. “I understand your standpoint but… I can’t.”
“Why?” Answered Ayus in a curious manner. Alviss tried to answer but after thinking about it some more, she was feeling less and less confident. ‘This is a new world with different rules and common sense.’
Alviss stayed silent until Ayus spoke once more. “Duty, tribe survive. Do everything, survival. Male, no, leave, again.”
‘Leave again? Does that mean there was a male and he left.’ Alviss shook away the thought and brought his attention back to the main issue. Even though Alviss didn’t have an answer, he still stood his ground. “I’m sorry but I can’t comply with what you want.”
Ayus stayed silent for a while before standing back up and staring him down. Her powerful demeanor returned. “I, leader. You, no, leave. Leave, beat me.” Alviss took a moment before realizing her words.
‘I see. So she’s threatening me. Win and leave or stay and become their own breeder.’ Thought Alviss as he weighted his opinions. Soon he stood up and faced her. “Fine. Any time.”
They stood there staring at one another before Ayus walked out. Before she fully left, she spoke without turning her back. “Fight, middle, sun high. Sleep, good.” With that she left and Alviss was alone once more.
He slowly fell back down on the bed and looked upward as he pondered on what to do. ‘Well I messed up.’ Alviss let out a heavy sigh after realizing the error that he made.
“As if I could be beat someone who snapped a massive beast with her bare hands. Not to mention she’s more physically strong in every aspect.” Alviss racked his brain for anything that could make an advantage but nothing appear.
In frustration he rolled around squeezing his head. “Come on! Think! There has to be a way.” He stopped on his side, facing the sword and his bag until a thought occur to him. He concentrated and eventually reached God.
“What is it this time? Do you want to know the time of pregnancy or perhaps when a babies is about to be delivered?” Alviss was shocked by God sarcastic quips and let out a laugh.
“I wasn’t aware that God could be sarcastic. Anyway I have a serious question this time.”
“I’m all ears.”
“That special ability that you spoke yesterday, I think it’s time you tell me what it is.” God didn’t answer immediately but eventually he did.
“The name of the ability is called True Blessing. Essentially the ability is activated when positive emotions are around you.”
“Positive emotions? Can you be any more specific?” Asked Alviss who was confused and panicking a bit.
“For example people cheering you on, giving support, etc… Their energy will flow through you, empowering you. The more people that believe in you the more powerful you become. So long as you amass positive emotion.”
“What kind of dumb power is that?!” screamed Alviss. God patiently waited until he calmed down before continuing. “True the power doesn’t seem that important but think about in the long term. If you are to unite the warring factions against one another, you need one on your side, giving you support and putting their faith in you. Here is where the power will truly shine and bring you tremendous strength.”
Alviss was silent, taking in what God had just said. After the explanation, he had a better grasp of what God meant. “That’s nice and all but it doesn’t help the situation.”
God stayed silent once more before answering. “That’s up for you to find out, that’s why I chose you didn’t I? I have faith in you.”
After that, God went away, leaving him along again. Alviss simply sat there once more, pondering on God’s words. “I have faith in you.”
Even though God hadn’t given her a direct answer, his anger and anxiety from before were almost gone. He let out one more heavy sight before rolling back into bed.
“Well God did say he has faith in me, so maybe I should actually heed his words for once. Anyway I need to get some sleep for tonight.
