Chapter 7: Great Hope

“Excellent, Julius! I really admire your spirit, my grandson. I am confident that you will truly revive the glory of the Tiberius family. There will be no one daring to insult our family anymore. Even the royal palace would think twice before oppressing us,” the leader of the Tiberius family exclaimed to his grandson while patting his shoulder.

The leader of the Tiberius family had indeed sensed a significant change in Julius since his fall into the abyss. However, he welcomed this change because his grandson’s previously unruly behavior had done a complete 180° turn. He had great expectations for his beloved grandson to restore the prestigious name of the Tiberius family. The elder even hoped that Julius would follow in his father’s footsteps as a genius of the Tiberius family, although he occasionally realized that his grandson was not a remarkable cultivator like his father.

It wasn’t just the leader of the Tiberius family who appreciated the change in Tiberius Julius. Uncle Miller, a loyal assistant to Tiberius Julius who knew the young man’s daily behavior well, was thankful that his young master had changed. He now had a deep liking for his young master, unlike before when he despised him. In the past, Tiberius Julius had often treated Miller unfairly, but now he felt like a part of the family.

After walking for a while, they finally returned to the Tiberius family residence. Julius’s uncles were waiting with anxious expressions. Upon seeing Julius returning with the family leader, a sense of relief spread across the faces of the seven uncles. These uncles were brothers of Tiberius Julius’s father.

“Are you okay, Julius? We were very worried here. We heard that you had a fight against the young master of the Starfall family. We were afraid something might happen to you,” said the eldest uncle, Tiberius Walker Lee.

“I’m fine, Uncle. My fight with Smith Gigo didn’t end in death. In the critical moments, Grandfather arrived with the leader of the Starfall family, so nothing happened between us except a regular fight,” Julius reassured his worried uncle.

Walker Lee was known for his deep affection for Julius. His closeness to Julius’s missing father made him cherish Julius as a replacement for his lost brother. Moreover, Julius’s face closely resembled his father’s. Sometimes, to ease his longing for his brother, Tiberius Walker Lee would take Julius out for a stroll.

Julius also seemed to have a genuine affection for his uncle, Tiberius Walker Lee. The divine light within him could perceive that Tiberius Walker Lee was the only person he truly cared for and respected. This was because Walker Lee’s love for Julius was sincere. He even felt reluctant to train Julius to be the family representative in the fight against the Starfall family.

“Thank goodness for that. You should rest; you must be exhausted after walking all day. Once you’re feeling better, resume your training so you can defeat the young master of the Starfall family. Let them know that our Tiberius family still has unmatched cultivator geniuses,” Walker Lee expressed his relief to everyone present after learning that Julius was fine. He encouraged his nephew to train diligently to defeat the Starfall family representative, though he secretly doubted whether Julius could train well and overcome his opponent. He knew that his nephew lacked talent in martial arts.

Among all of Julius’s uncles, Walker Lee was the one who spoiled the young man the most. Despite Julius’s rebellious behavior and the chaos he caused in the city, which made many people dislike him, Walker Lee never reprimanded his nephew. He considered it a natural part of Julius’s young age and believed it was the journey Julius had to go through. Unlike his other uncles who often trained him in cultivation and martial arts, Julius’s misbehavior usually angered them. More than once, they had to discipline him through rigorous training. Julius himself knew that their intention was not always to strengthen him but to teach him a lesson. It was only his hardened heart that kept him from complaining, even to the extent of facing death in the abyss.

However, none of Julius’s uncles from the Tiberius family knew the true situation. Tiberius Julius, their nephew, had long perished, and now his body served as the reincarnation vessel for the Light God with the highest level of cultivation among the gods. However, the original power of the God could not be fully utilized in Tiberius Julius’s body. The God had to start the cultivation stages from the beginning so that Julius could reach the highest level he once possessed.

Several weeks passed since Tiberius Julius was found in the abyss, severely injured. Now, Julius had completely healed from the physical and internal injuries he suffered during training with his two uncles. The young man continued to train, improving his abilities to face the young generation of the Starfall family who would eventually fight against him. After a few weeks, Julius had already broken through one level from the realm he previously had. In other words, Julius might now be in the second level of the heavenly spirit realm.

During his training, the progress made by Tiberius Julius did not escape the watchful eyes of his grandfather, the leader of the Tiberius family. Naturally, he was delighted with his grandson’s advancements and believed that Julius could win in his fight against the younger generation of the Starfall family. Now, among the elderly generation of his family, he felt there was no one else reliable. It seemed that he the family leader himself was the only one left to intervene since he was the only one in the heavenly spirit realm above the fifth level.
