Raptor One – Chapter 66

.
Walking out of the ship with my entire pack, another cyborg looking person greets us and lead us into the main reception area where a even more modified human woman lies connected to a plethora of wires.
“State your objective.” the woman ask us in a base electronic voice.
I look at Zu and signal her to the woman, she understands and start talking with the receptionist.
I take some space to chat with Sigma, which did not disappear nor talk until now...
Not to mention the Deltas trying to chat with me.
Letting my back rest on a wall i start a conversation with Sigma.
“Sigma, talk to me.” The first phrase after all that happened before docking.
“.....Understood... Where do i start...” Sigma reluctantly start talking, her shy mood and red face easy to be seen.
“First of all, what will be the names of our new girls?” i ask Sigma.
“The rule to follow about AI names are... Core, Bearer, Seeder and lastly number...” Sigma say with a even redder face.
“SO that means the girls are called ‘Delta Scarlet Omega one’, and so on.” i ask to be sure.
“Yeah... but there's one more rule to follow...” Sigma say to me.
“Which is?” i ask her.
“Any AI that have undertaken Seeding should have a full link share with it’s partner, that is, you.” Sigma say looking at me using her small human form.
“Da, what do i need to do? Just open my closed cycle connection to you?” i ask her.
I take a look and see the pack is still talking with the receptionist, something seen off on the conversation there.
“Yes, unfortunately you have to open your Gamma core for this process and leave it open, i can disable some of the consequences of keeping it open by being your personal connection node however.” Sigma reply to me.
“Let me lock my armor in place, I'm not used to being cyber...” I say before locking my armor in place so i won’t crash down into the floor.
“*Closed cycle system opening.*” I say with a robotic voice.
“*Opening permanent neural connection...*” my voice resounds again.
“*Neural connection stabilized: Sigma Scarlet. Total connections: Three.*”
“Starting security mode... Complete, Neural node: Omega closed off.” Sigma voice enter my hears.
“Starting permanent neural synchronization... Complete... Ending non useful programs... Complete” Sigma’s voice resounds one last time before i recover myself.
I grunt as my armor unlocks from it’s place and i start to move a little, feeling my body again, m mind overloaded by the amount of new things, systems, programs, connections, messages...
Sometimes my vision flash red... Virus alarm... When i focus my eyes on the receptionist i see a plethora of data on her, so much i can’t deal with all of it in one single second, but what i manage to get from it is the plethora of red errors she gives me.
I walk to the receptionist and rejoin my pack, Sigma still in her small human form, sitting on my free shoulder using my neck sensor holographic projector.
“What did i miss?” i ask my pack.
“White.” Zu say and look at me with tears on her droopy eyes, this don’t look good.
“What happened?” i ask again and my pack look at each other before the more peppy and optimist of the start talking.
“Boss, the situ-” Li’luk start but Su’ra place a hand on her head and push he to the side.
“Sorry, Li’luk, but i don’t think it’s time for you to talk.” Su’ra say to her before saluting to me.
“Captain! We got some problem with the delivery cargo of spices.” Su’ra say and i nod.
“Not enough information brother, we managed to pry out some information about why the cargo did not get here yet.” Su’zu say and look at LI’lak, she nods at him.
“Captain, the cargo got attacked by Ice breaker worms, breaking the bullet train tracks, it’s now stranded in the middle of nowhere, unable to return or continue as something spook the worms into attacking the tracks.” Li’lak finish and nod to Zu.
“They have sent a squad to investigate, but the danger level is too high to send repair crews there, the ice sheet bellow have no breathing air but has plenty of hostile fauna, including flying ones.” Zu say and sigh. “That means it can take weeks at least to recover the train.” Zu finish with another sigh.
Li’luk start jumping wanting to say something, so i nod to her.
“Why not repair it ourselves? We have a drop module for the Viking, it can keep the entire pack, ammo, guns, and a lot of repair components, we can get in there, repair then bail out!” Li’luk say with a happy and optimist voice.
I nod and finish her words. “Not to mention the crew of the bullet train should be having a lot of problems.” i nod and look at the receptionist.
“Hey girl, care to give us the sit rep?” i ask the receptionist.
“Negative.” I’m met with a short and simple reply.
“Open a connection to your admin, i will help as a mercenary, i will deploy a Viking and a repair squad into the location, i just need a deal.” I say locking my white pupils on her.
“Acknowledged, admin alerted... Reply received... Requesting deal.” The receptionist reply to me and i smile and right myself.
“It’s simple, I want the full manual about your ‘Panzer Kurst’, the last one is dependent on rating factor of the work, that is, money. The last part is optional, of course.” i say and wait.
This tale has been unlawfully obtained from Royal Road. If you discover it on Amazon, kindly report it.
“Admin requesting motive for wanting cyborg only fighting techniques.” The receptionist ask.
“I’m augmented myself, and i already have a variation of ‘Panzer Kurst’, i just want to complete it by analyzing you side of ‘Panzer Kurst’.” i reply with a serious face.
My pack seen to want to say something to me, but won’t talk in this serious mood.
“Admin has accepted your request and will reward with more credits at the completion of the task.” The receptionist reply.
“I need the track parameters so we can repair it more effectively” i say to the receptionist.
“Acknowledged. Sending data...”
“Data received, we have the track blueprint White.” Sigma reply comes from my shoulder and i nod before walking back to the ship, my pack walking along with me.
“Hey, White, your pupils now have cybernetic looking grids inside it.” Zu say to me.
“Yes! It looks really cool!” Li’luk also say.
“What are they for?” Li’lak ask, curious.
“White’s cybernetic grids, must be his connection with me, as his Gamma core seen to be working in a much higher parameters now that it needs to share packet data with me, the cyber grids that you see in his white pupils are all received and transmitted data, basically you are being seen naked in his eyes... Not literally... If he don’t want that is...” Sigma reply to Li’lak.
I look at Sigma with a tilted head. “Why should i look at a naked body? If i want that i don’t need to invade someone’s private life for this, i can just grab Zu there and have a good time.” i say and point at Zu, her white face turning beet red as she lowers and hide it with her hands, i can hear a light squeak.
I can’t help but chuckle, Zu have a lovable look, the difference of her normal and shy looks are great.
I don’t want to imagine her coated in blood however, the yandere vibes are too strong in those droopy eyes of hers.
Ahem, too much imagination.
“Okay tovarishcham, we are lifting off, Girls get the drop module ready, guys get the extra components from the station, high priority, Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Omega, start up analysis, get ready for planetary drop along with me, I'll be getting the ship ready for emergency flight.” I say after pointing for the three groups respectively.
“Understood!” The brothers say and rush out to collect the necessary components.
“Aye Captain!” Li’luk say as she takes the lead and start tinkering with the drop module, Zu nod to me before going to help.
I did get a kiss before she ran.
I chuckle as i move out into the bridge.
“Papochka!” I hear four different voices call me.
I look at my shoulder where Sigma is and see her in silence, face red.
“The voice modulation ins’t yours, so... That must be Alphy and her sisters?” I ask Sigma and receive a nod.
“Yes, it is our children talking, AI can learn very fast after all.” Sigma nod again.
“Looks like they inherited your choice of words, papochka.” Sigma try to joke with me, a sign she’s getting better.
Passing through the bridge door i walk to my chair and sit in it before starting to work.
“Da, i can’t say much about it as i find it cute, don’t you think so Matushka?” i reply back with a grin as my words made her face go red again.
And make the children start talking to us, or try to.
*Connection request*
*Connection request*
*Connection request*
*Connection request*
*Connection request*
*Connection request*
*Connection request*
*Connection request*
“Wow! Calm down! Too much ping on my mind!” I almost yell out the words while placing both hands on my head.
“I’m not much better here...” Sigma say with a sigh.
“Just accept it and give the children some basics! It hurts to get so many pings in less than a second you know?” i say as i get back to activating the ship again.
“Sure, i did try, but these four are pure balls of energy...” Sigma sigh again.
“You, that have a higher computational power, can’t get the children to line up?” i ask Sigma.
I see Sigma look at my face, a sour expression on her face, i hit her wound it seen.
“*Sigh* Sigma, just keep the children entertained until i finish here so i can give full attention to the children...” I say as i work at high speed, my work halfway done.
“Okay...” Sigma say and get silent.
I let my concentration sharpen more than normal while i work, the world slowing down as the words start getting slower and slower.
I easily open the comms.
“T.H.I.S Station, this is Captain Omega from Tenacity, requesting clearance for undocking.” My voice fast and cold, a very strong growl leaves along with my voice.
“Undocking Granted, requesting further data.” i hear a semi robotic voice, the dock master.
“Planetary drop down, objective, repair and rescue of trapped personel and cargo.” I reply with a growl.
“Su’ra and Su’zu, report.” My growl resounds on the comms.
“Whoa! That scared me...” i hear both of the brothers and even the sisters reply.
“Captain! Drop module preparation complete!” Zu reply first.
“All systems green.” Li’lak reply right after.
“Chassis analysis complete, no faults!” Li’luk reply after her sister.
“Components loaded!” Both Su’ra and Su’zu reply.
“Rodzher, closing hangar bay, prepare for undocking.” i reply with a growl.
“Yes Captain!” my pack reply as i hear their hurried footsteps as they move to the bridge.
“Sigma, I'm done, Gamma core: Standby mode disengage.” I say as i feel the connection of my body and mind lose too much of it’s sync rate, i watch as my body slowly lose it’s tension and go limp.
Yep, i don’t feel good at all.
“*Connection to Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Omega...*” I hear myself say what I'm doing.
“*Connection complete.*” My voice have this perpetual growl when I'm in adrenaline mode...
“Papochka!” The four delta cores say in unison to me.
I can feel Sigma’s connection, and feel her exhaustion.
“Good work Sigma.” i say and focus on the four balls of energy that’s talking until now.
“Da! Da! Silence, bystro, or i can’t quench your thirst for knowledge.” I say like I'm going away, the girls get quiet very fast.
“How to i transfer knowledge...” i say and think a little before finding out soon after.
“There you go, all the basics you girls need to know, be a good girl and follow the rules and I'll help more, papochka can’t keep bad girls with him or I'll be in trouble, can i hear your answers?” i ask the children.
“Da!” Alphy reply first
“Rodzher!” Beta’s reply came next.
“Ok...” Gamma’s reply came a little tame, it looks she inherited some of Sigma’s sister template.
“Understood Papochka!” Omega’s reply came with vigor, she seen to have more of her mother side.
I grin and chuckle before giving their heads some pats and a kiss to the forehead for each one, receiving different reactions from each one, but none negative.
“Papochka here needs to go, don’t pester Matushka too much, da?” i ask the girls, my growling voice seen to be completely ignored by the children.
“Da!” They reply in sync, which makes me chuckle.
“*Reducing processor power*” My growling voice resounds as i feel my eyes slowly open.
“*75%*” My growling voice resounds again as i see my pack looking at me.
“*50%*” My body starts to respond again, my senses are about 400 units of reaction right now, my body can’t cope with it.
“*25%*” My reaction is now down to 300 units, everything is moving at ultra slow speed.
“*Processing power deemed too strong... Resuming standby mode... Complete.*” My thought speed finally returns to the maximum speed Avali can think and work.
I stretch my body a little, the feeling of my power armor returning to me as i move my body.
“Back to us White? What happened?” Zu ask me.
“The children was making some light trouble, i had to give a hand to Sigma.” I say with a light growl and groan.
“At least i got to know the limit of my body reaction processing...” i say and sigh. “Report.”
“Ship undocked.” Su’ra say.
“Waypoint set, time until deployment, five small cycles.” Su’zu reply.
I look at Zu.
“Lyubov’, did you manage to get the terrain?” i ask Zu.
“Yes, the terrain where the bullet train got ambushed was in open terrain, i did not manage to find why it was attacked, the train and it’s crew are unharmed, the cargo seen to have light damage... Found out that the train is also under attack, small wave of wild life, the crew are managing to fend off the wave.” Zu give me a lot of good information.
“Thanks love, boys, can we speed this up?” i ask the guys.
“Sure can, Captain!” Su’ra say and smirk at Su’zu.
“You can’t be talking about...” Su’zu ask his brother.
“Yep! And there is no debris here.” Su’ra reply with a smile and Su’zu sigh.
“Haaaa... Opening sails, 100%...” Su’zu say.
“Redirecting energy from STL engine to the Solar sails...” Su’ra reply to his brother.
“The Solar sails managed to catch the planet gravity, your idea was very effective brother, ships moving with 400% of speed effectiveness.” Su’zu reply.
“Heh, it seen that the word Solar is not literal.” i chuckle at their antics. “What's the ETA?” i ask Zu.
“One minute.” Zu reply.
I nod and relax, things won’t go that smoothly down there....
