Waking up to a fluffy bed after working till midnight yesterday was a good feeling, and with Zu besides me to share my bed it was even better.

Getting down the bed along with Zu I sat quietly, watching the girls as they woke up and got up and moving around.

“So, what are you gonna do today?” Shy asked me while eating a baked nakati ovoid.

“I’m going to deploy and upgrade the mech with titanium.” I said while watching the girls.

“Oh? Aren’t the mech already good enough?” Peppy asked me while eating a kiri fruit.

“Niet, it’s basic iron, so it won’t hold itself in a fight, that’s why I'm going to use some good titanium plates to make it better so I won’t die inside of it anytime soon.” I said with a sigh.

“Here.” Zu say while exposing her neck to me, I thank her and give a soft bite to her neck.

Done with my own nutrition I let Zu go with a lick to the neck and a kiss to the lips as thanks making her blush.

“Alright, I'm going, you’ll find me on LD M1 SHHB working on the mech.” I say and get up, I don’t need to eat nor drink so it’s boring to just sit and watch, so I get up and walk out of the living module and into the hangar bay.

There I deploy the mech after adjusting the area as it was too packed to deploy the mech.

The mech deploy with a burst of red particles, materializing itself inside the hangar bay with a thump and a hiss of pistons as the mech lands on the ground and open the canopy for my entry.

Inside the mech I dial up all of it’s blueprints and walk out of it again before looking back at the big guy.

“Let’s start by the leg frames...” I say to myself and start the crane, lifting the mech some centimeters off the ground, there I start to separate both legs off the mech and dismantle it into components looking for parts that can be upgraded.

“Fist the leg chassis and skeleton, after that it’s components and lastly it’s armor, the rest don’t need upgrades at all.” I mutter to myself before leaving to the upper deck.

In the forge module I take the titanium bars that I have and start to make the new skeleton, chassis and components...

6¨hours of work later I'm done upgrading the entire mech, it’s armor shining in black and gray color, I upgraded everything I could from the skeleton to chassis, to frame, to components, even the arms was not spared and was upgraded, now I just need to get some weapons on the mech to get it combat ready.

With a content sigh I press the teleporter core and watch as the reinforced mech becomes red particles that flood into the core into a raging tsunami of red particles, that done I start to collect the pieces of the mech that was substituted into crates and placed a virtual tag *To UD M3 FM*.

Now I just need for Peppy to see the crates and move it to the forge module.

Walking back to the bridge I enter it minutes later, there I find Zu, Cold and Shy working at their stations, Nail should be on the living module and Peppy on the cargo or Reactor module.

“Privet devushki, how’s the travel going?” I ask while seating myself on my chair and opening the ship console.

“we a re about to reach Aster IVb in three minutes.” Cold said out loud.

“Sure, Peppy, work on SHHB, Shy, warm up our weapons, Cold ready for evasive maneuvers, Nail, prepare Selket for launch, we are going in hot.” I said with a smile.

“Understood, starting preliminary scans before system warp in.” Zu said with a nod.

“Okay, warming up the thrusters.” Cold replied.

“Weapons ready and target leading booting up.” Shy said with a serious expression.

“*Heading for the ship now, Peppy, try not to get sucked out.*” Nail replied with a smirk.

“*Not gonna happen, I'm more worried at getting low on energy than flying off into space.*” Peppy said with a chuckle.

With everyone ready the ship shudder as it returns to normal space, we are lucky that nothing was visible yet but our appearance startled every sensor in the system, seconds later a ship warps in and starts shooting at us, the jury rigged appearance tell us it’s a pirate vessel, so I gave a ok to shy to return fire while Cold did a splendid evasion using the side thrusters and getting Tenacity ready for a full broadside that Shy took full advantage of.

I watch as Shy make two holes on the enemy ship with a 90 degree angle before pelting the ship with the vulcan railguns of Tenacity, the ship plating blasting into pieces before being demolished, a explosion ripping the ship into two parts as flash of yellow, red and purple blooms from the middle of the ship.

“Status.” I say out loud.

“Four ships incoming to our position in formation, all corvetas.” Zu reply with a tranquil voice.

“Eta?” I ask for details.

“2 minutes.” She say with finality.

“Cold, full on evasion, Shy shoot everything that shoots back, Nail, you’re on.” I give some simple orders.

“*Roger that.*”

I watch as Selket is expelled by the repulsor of the crane before going forward and engaging the four ships with a L attack.

“*Laser cannon blasting.*” I hear her and see as Selket almost blast a hole on the ship internals the enemy ship trying to shoot at her but missing by centimeters and losing her on their scanners.

“Shy, pot shot on the damaged ship, Railgun.” I give the order and watch as Shy take a shot at the enemy, both railgun rounds blasting the last remains of the armor and piercing it’s internals, the ship itself powers off as debris start floating out of the ship, it’s disabled.

Three more to go.

I watch as Cold expertly avoided the railgun slugs coming our way but one of the shots hit’s Tenacity in a angle of 90 degrees right on the reactor module, I cringe at the sound of titanium groaning as the slug flies off into space, deflected.

“Focus fire on the third ship, he won’t leave here alive with this damage.” I growl out my orders.

“*Roger, initiating run.*” Nail said with a laugh.

“Understood, firing railgun volley.” Shy said and fired with precision targeting.

I watch as the two slugs fly directly for it’s center mass, hitting in a 90 degree angle and blasting the center armor into pieces, shards of the armor opening a hole into it before Nail do a fly by with Selket, I watch as Nail literally nail down the ship middle with two blasts of laser fire from it’s cannon, the ship going in flames as the armor itself was already blasted off.

I watch as the last two ships give reactive fire at Selket, I hear Nail groan and squeak in anger as she flies off the range of their point defense.

“*Bastards got a piece of my rear!*” Nail said with a small snarl.

“Watch it, are you rear on fire yet? Open fire.” I said to Nail and ordered Shy to open fire.

I watch as Shy take her time to shoot, the sound of electromagnetic rails going off shake Tenacity blasting one of the ships on the rear and piercing all the way to the front of the ship like the plating was never there.

“*Only one left, rushing in!*” Nail said with a snicker, her mood better.

I watch in amusement as the enemy ship start evasive maneuvers while shooting at us, Selket weaving left and right as Nail try to shake the turret aim away from Selket, her timing to fire lost by the reactive fire, while Tenacity blast it’s engines a little stronger to dodge the slug coming our way.

I growl at the enemy desperate attempt to shoot us down, the railgun slug hitting right at the reactor module again while selket got a plate sent flying of her rear.

Our shots goes wide while Selket fail to bypass the turret and get blasted at the cockpit while being unable to return fire, it fires back at us and Selket, Tenacity fly a little to the side as the impact hit her right at the belly, the cargo module armor groaning in protest.

Selket was in worse state however as the turret fire took her engines again and another armor plate was ejected to save the engines while leaving a half damaged plate to protect the engines internals.

“Nail, you’re awfully close to getting internal ship damage get the heck outa here, Cold, evasive maneuvers, full power, Shy try to blast the ship again.” I lay out my orders.

“*Roger, disengaging.*” Nail say and fly off the combat range.

“Understood, brace for recoil.” Cold say with a serious voice, I can see a slight anger on her voice.

“Opening fire!” Shy said.

The shots hit the enemy ship right at the front, the ship plates flying off in a shower of shrapnel and debris as the ship itself in pierced two times, athmospere leaking out of the ship as two holes open on each side of the enemy ship.

I groan as the return fire hit’s accurately the reactor room, they are making their best to disable Tenacity for some days.

“Cold, full stable, broadside it, Shy full barrage, let’s get this pepper done with. I said with a growl.

“Roger” They both say in unison, the ship skidding closer to the ship before going full broadside and vulnerable, I watch as the turrets lock on the ship and shower the ship in electromagnetic freedom units.

I watch as the enemy ship is ripped into pieces debris by the amount and volume of gunfire we send at the ship, my console giving a warning as the ship capacitors are dry and the guns ammo close to depletion but the tenacious bastard is gone for good.

“Alright devushki, return to the ship and dock, Peppy, get ready to repair Selket, Cold, get the ship moving into course to Aster IVb Prime, Shy eyes wide and Zu, ears open, I hope we won’t need to use the reactor overload to recover the ship capacitor, move!” I gave my orders and get a plethora of okay.
