Something is sliding up my arm.
I open my eyes on this new day, moving my cloak off my shoulder so i can see with my white pupils what decided to climb on me
As soon as i finish moving my cloak, i see a black Snake, it’s head resting on my shoulder, it’s size a perfect fit on my coiled arm.
“Lemi, my sweet girl... Why...” I mutter as i skillfully scratch her small head.
After almost dying i got in a very bad fight with Sigma, and a worse one with Lemi.
The entire day was us trying to convince the other about the good, bad, idea of our actions.
At the end... Lemi ignored me.
Her last humanoid words was that she will never watch passively as i die in front of her.
Then she started a primal mutation.
She gave everything she had for more power, and even more defense.
The only thing left was her intelligence, her emotions, and her desire to protect.
She signed the path of blood.
My death is her death.
Her death before mine.
I sigh, my eyes locked on Lemi as i caress her small head on my shoulder one last time before getting up.
I look at the sleeping spot, the pack is still sleeping, the smell of Avalon Wine can be known even to someone with weak nose.
At least they remembered to get their Scout HUDs, need a reminder to update and sync it later.

I walk to the rec room, my cloak going back to it’s original place as it floats with each movement.
They made this cloak a little too light, i sigh.
Getting to the recreation room i move to the pantry and take 3 kiri fruits to eat as i head to the bridge.
Today is very calm, if you ignore yesterday fiasco.
I chuckle as i finish going down to the middle deck and head to the bridge.
The bridge door flash green and open for me as i enter, and head direct to the captain chair.
I already finished the kiri fruits as i sit, extending a hand to the base of my neck sensor and pull a connector, plugging it to the captain chair.
I keep myself in a bored looking sitting position as screens and data opens and closes at fast rate, Sigma is integrating herself into the ship system.
Bored i decide to search about necromorphs, i already got some basic intel about the buggers yesterday, but some key words got me curious.
My research bore fruit fast, i find the entire story about the thing and the war it caused... a lost one to us...
To simplify, the humans found the obelisks, was mind washed to use it as energy, and kickstarted the first extinction.
Trillions died and became dead moons, the rest fled into the outer part of the galaxy.
This proved good and bad, they made some first contacts, one of it was with the Avalis.
We and the other races got the news, but it was too late, they already got planetoid sized psionic death rolling.
Of all the races, the survivors where the Humans, they lost 99% of the species.
The Avali, explorers and nomads by nature we lost less, but even that was a critical hit on us.
Made worse by the last stand of Avalon, billions armed to the teeth Avalis tried to defend the planet.
The outcome, no survivors, and the planet became asteroid field.
The entire race cried that day.
After the news of four homeworlds becoming asteroid fields, the survivors decided to group together.
Thus started the first unified empire.
The empire focused on making something that can counter the obelisks, while researching better ways to combat the necromorph plague.
Thus two things came into being.
The Dissonance Plates, and the Lastree.
The empire, composed og Humans, Avalis, Old ones, and Protogens, now had the Lastree in it’s rank.
But it was not enough.
The empire was falling.
So the best minds put together another plan.
Leave the galaxy and seal it forever.
So Project Genesis started.
A giant Station solely built to be a Magnetic Sling powerful enough to propel a ship into another galaxy.
That falling age gave birth to the ‘Archotech’ technology.
Protogens braved the unknown for resources to build the only way out.
Humans and Old ones Researched new ways to survive.
Avalis and Lastree worked together to fight out the looming extinction.
At long last the Arch Slinger was complete.
So they started moving out.
After long and arduous brain scans on each survivor, they where placed into Dissonant ships.
All alive species was to be kept on a Dissonant cryosleep casket, the dead ones, bought back by technology was to help keep the future together and drive us to our new home.
But there was not enough time.
So most Lastree, Old ones, Protogens and Avalis made a last stand.
This gave the rest the necessary time to get verified and placed into cryosleep.
The dead ones also did not stay in place.
The last war was vicious, ships exploded on a daily basis, people died by the thousands, machines broke like the rivers of blood as they overloaded, just to send one more necromorph back to the grave.
When the Colony ships where launched out from Origin...
The remaining warships, breached and overwhelmed, decided to destroy the Arch Slinger.
Their brave actions saved their species.
At the cost of their lives.
This Data log is kept public and is mandatory knowledge to all, so the menace that was the Necromorphs don’t rise up again.

“Hey! I’m done.” Sigma bring my attention back.
“Wow...” I say, i got no words...
“What? Oh, this.” Sigma ask before going quiet.
I get myself together and take back the connector and release it, it slides back into it’s hidden place.
I was about to get up but the pack enter the bridge.
They all look at me, sitting like a bored captain before saluting me, military style.
“Captain!” They say in sync before the Su brothers go to their stations, the girls keep in place, waiting orders.
I nod at their adaptability.
“Operator, signal for dock release, Navigator, plot course to the last asteroid field, operator, give the asteroid field most common ores.”
I get two yes sir before they start working.
I look at the girls, still in place.
“You girls, follow me, I'll start your basic training.” i say as i get out of the captain chair and walk away.
I take the opportunity and sync their scout HUDs as we get into the ore bay.
“First, I'll train you all to survive, then to defend, and lastly to fight, am i clear?”
“Yes sir!” they say in chorus.
“I won’t force anyone to do what i ask, but i also won’t mind your demise later too, so better buckle up.”
Their faces get very sour at my words, but i get a yes sir nonetheless.
I give the girls a better look, and frown.
They are at basic civilian stats, they won’t survive long.
“Okay, focus and attention, I'll start now...”
So i start giving the girls a tough defense training, focusing on the already good dodge and basic parkour, this will help their defense a lot later, made better with the natural wings we have.
The training take some time out of their free time, but pay off...
To the Li sisters that is.
Both sisters managed to learn parkour, and got better at dodging.
If they keep this level of eagerness they will start second stage parkour training after tomorrow.
Zu however looks very down.
“Okay, dismissed.” i say.
The Li sisters leave, but Zu stay in place.
“I want to try again.” Zu say, i see the fire in her eyes, this time she will learn, I'm sure.
“Da. Prepare yourself, I'll show you again.” i say giving her a nod of approval.
This time she learned, and not liking her progress she learned a step further.
I chuckle at the exhausted Zu sitting on the ground.
This girl managed to go beyond, she’s halfway to mastering dodging and one third into parkour mastery.
She show me a happy satisfied smile that make me chuckle more.
I extend my hand and she take it before releasing with a yelp
“What’s that!?” Zu ask me
I show her Lemi, coiled on my arm as i caress her small head.
Zu eyes go wide before showing a sorry expression and taking my hand again.
I easily pull her up into my chest, and take the opportunity to kiss her.
This get her off guard, but soon melt on me with a moan before i end the kiss
“Good work.” I whisper in her ear before leaving.
She blush before following me out of the ore deck.
I head back into the Bridge.
Entering it i sit on the Captain chair where the logs i wanted are.
“Keep the current course, we don’t have enough data to discard this asteroid field.” i say
“YES!” the Su brother says.
The trip will take 1,5 days, the time wasted training was enough to complete the initial speed up, now is just wait.
I sigh after looking at the logs and changing some instructions with Sigma.
So i go back to the ore bay, now with the Su brothers.
Remember me to give a more in depth course on space flight later to the entire pack.

I sigh as i stop before the two Su brothers and repeat what i said again.
And receive the same look before they harden their resolve just like the girls.
After finishing this session i look at Su’ra with a frown.
“You forgot you have wings or something?” i say displeased.
“And you Su’zu, you’re no better by barely managing the basics.” my frown deepens.
Su’ra looks very embarrassed while Su’zu smug look break to pieces by my words.
“Su’zu, you can go, Su’ra, again, and you better give more effort or I'll personally train you with my scythe!”
Su’zu and Su’ra jumps in fright at my words before getting in formation again.
I nod before talking again “Good... As males your job are to be the vanguard of the pack, worse yet, you need to be the last to fall on the frontlines, and the last to break on the group... Engrave these words on your mind, as they are what kept me going when all deemed worthless and death deemed itself sweet.” i say, my cold soleen voice resounding on the ore bay, the Su brothers paying extreme attention to my words.
I look at the guys again, and see their faces harden, and their will strengthen.
I give a nod, acknowledging their will, and give another training session.
“I’m proud of you two.” I slowly say as we end the training session.
“Not only did you two prove your worth, you also proved your will.” I nod their way and get a salute, their faces showing unshakable will.
“Take pride on your progress, but not let your pride taint your will, show me that me, a Psi Ops, training you won’t be in vain.” i say, my white pupils on display as i look their way
“YES SIR!” Both say at the same time, my words harden even more their will.
This feeling, the feeling of a teacher, looking proudly at their shining students...
I chuckle, happiness clear in it “Dismissed.”
They give another salute before leaving.
These guys are two rough diamonds, and I'll be sure to make then shine so bright that even the Necromorphs won’t be able to taint it.
And i have already started that part of their training, seeing their will harden make me proud of the two every time, they are almost half way into having a unshakeable will.
I smile as i walk back.
Getting back on the upper deck rec room i sit along with the rest of the pack.
“You two look different.” Lak say to the brothers.
“Now that you say it, they do look more dependable.” Zu reply.
“They got some Will hardening training.” I say as i get A piece of Avalon pizza to eat.
“Will hardening?” The girls say in sync
I nod before saying “Yes, and you guys, tomorrow onward you will have to pass psionic possession type attacks, this will help the training and won’t last more than thirty minutes, but the toll on the mind is strong, so get ready.”
The girls look at us as the Su brothers nod, ready for tomorrow training.
“Can i also get the same training?” Zu ask
“Da, but place in mind that female have a natural disadvantage, all psionic mind attacks are different, and each focus on our worst parts, or more cracked defense so to say, and females have a very bad time, but make excellent psionics because of the same problem...” i sigh.
The girls stay silent, so i continue.
“This will be HARD. You can even breakdown, at worst, kill yourself, and the worst is the most likely, even more on females.” I say looking on their eyes with my white pupils
“You have all the time to choose, but i don’t recommend, yet it’s your choice, and I'll do my best to help.” I keep silent after that
Finishing my food i get up, and hide Lemi, of which was being caressed all this time as i head to the crew quarters.
As i give the room a cursory glance i feel the pack head inside.
And the girls grab me... Again.
And just like that I'm placed in the middle of the three girls... Again.
Not enough they say in chorus “This is your new sleeping place!”
I do feel the need to resist, but after some thinking it’s just male pride talking, also, who don’t want to sleep surrounded by girls?
I just sigh and sleep.
I don’t need to worry about Lemi coiled on my arm, her scales is strong enough that normal attacks won’t leave a scratch, much less being squeezed...
I yawn and stretch, but then i remember I'm on the middle of the girls.
How? Two moans as both hands slides from down to up, both giving critical hits as i feel the folds, the nup, stomach and chest before ending on a chin scratching on the girls.
I open my eyes at that so i can forget the sensations, and see Zu giving a me a abandoned puppy look.
And the feeling did not get forgotten.
I fight the desire to sigh, if i do that I'm almost sure I'll get a slap.
So i use my messed mind, i give a sharp grin to Zu, her face redden in moments before i dive in for a kiss.
Three seconds is all i need for Zu to melt on me, and the Li sisters to show envy as i take the advantage to get up.
This time i manage to give true stretch, i may have mechanical parts, but I'm no robot, i can get ‘rusty’ if i don’t stretch a little.
I look at the Su brothers, they give me a nod, so we head to the rec room and wait for the flustered girls, and a melted one to return back to this dimension so we can eat.
I take my time and drink some Avalon Wine, as the girls are making some food for us.
I’ll be needed from now on to be on the bridge more so no problem arise.
Hand always occupied caressing Lemi, i continue taking small sips of Avalon Wine as the food is placed on the low table, so we start eating.
Or so i wanted to do before the alarm starts ringing.
I get up grumbling a little as i head to the bridge in a calm way.
Entering the Bridge i sit on the captain chair as i look at the problem.
“It’s just a loose asteroid...” I growl.
“Su’ra, evasive maneuver, be gentle, i don’t want my food spilled, Su’zu, Scan it’s composition, i don’t want this thing suddenly making a detour just to hit us.” I growl out some orders.
And just like that they execute the commands.
“Course change complete!” Su’ra reply.
“Asteroid composition is made of Iodestone!” Su’zu reply.
“Change of plans, harvest it.” i say
“This will be hard, almost 70% of it is Iodestone, it can pull our ship and speed on us if we try.” Su’zu say
“I’ll be overseeing this operation, get ready for a barrage of orders.” I grin, my teeth showing
This get the guys hyped up as they say “YES SIR!”
As i order the four ears of Su’ra off, we manage to get a lock, and inside it’s magnetic force safe.
“Su’zu, ready your ears, it’s your time now.” I grin
So i start ordering Su’zu ears off as we manage to get the ship external arms to lock the asteroid.
“Heh, now it’s a order duet, ready your ears.” i chuckle
The start of the harvest was okay, but soon i had to yell their ears off as they made so many mistakes they almost damaged the ship.
The good thing was their hardened will got it’s first use, as the girls was freaking out at the dangerous situation, but the guys was as cool as ice from Avalon, this made me smile as i got my mind to solve our problem and get the resources while being untouched in the process.
“Bad job boys, but also good job too, bad because you failed to follow simple orders, good because you kept your cool and did not make things worse, I'd hate to give you guys some slaps.” i grin at the boys.
They get up and salute, their smiles clear as they got the taste of coolness under stress that most fail to even get a glimpse.
I nod in approval “Let’s get our food eaten, i like my spicy food hot, even more when I'm drinking.” I grin at the pack as i get up and head back to the rec room.
I see the Boys get the ship back en route and the girls look in wonder before they follow back to the rec room
