Maybe by coming to the same idea, or for the Moon Chaser Rays having a way to communicate, all the hundreds of rays dive down at the same time again.

The rays outnumber my dragons seven to one, so in a desperate act, I bring all dragons close to me and send a powerful tongue of fire through the ray in my bracelet, straight up, catching the ones in the middle of the dive, bringing them a hell of pain as they fall head first in the ground and die from the impact.

As the rays on the sides maneuver around the fire, the dragons spring into action again, flying extremely fast from ray to ray, cutting their bodies in various places, leaving hundreds of mangled corpses on flames falling from the sky.

The Shield array above the farm is now completely hidden below hundreds of corpses.

Stopping my fire I focus on the flow of now probably three hundred rays flying after my dragons, and sending powerful moon ki stands of light, cutting every dragon that gets hit in half.

Noticing that almost all the rays are near the dragons, and flying in circles, I make all dragons place half their accumulated ki into the flame armor array, creating five meters wide spheres of extremely hot fire.

Given how close in pursuit all the rays were, none of them manages to get out of this tornado of flame dragons fast enough, burning to cinders in seconds.

Sending the dragons after the few that were outside of the range of the attack, I finally took a deep breath.

Looking for the most intact corpses, I start collecting dantians. Many of the corpses are mangled to bits and still burning, so only half of them have intact dantians.

Using the dragons to move the corpses from the top of the shield formation, I manage to see that the farmer has finished collecting his flowers some time ago, and is waiting for me to open the array.

“Wow, they've never come in such big numbers, thanks friend.” The farmer days after coming out of the array and looking at the corpses. “Here's your payment.” He finishes, handing me a bag with ten coins inside.

As I turn off the arrays and go gather the formation poles. The farmer gets close again.

“How much do you want for these Arrays?” He asks.

“The Shield Array can be activated for a long time, you will be able to use it to protect your farm for many months. So a hundred sect points.” I say, pointing at all the corpses still on the surface of the shield.

“And the Dragon Construct Array has three more uses before it needs to be reinscribed. But it single handedly can repel another attack as strong as this one. So thirty sect points should be enough.” I finish, making all the dragons fly around to show their speed, and some attack the trees to show their might, as the trees are cut into two.

“No can do. The shield array is not strong enough to sustain a powerful attack, it is good against weak enemies, but that's it. It's not enough to cost a hundred sect points.” The farmer says.

“And the Dragon Constructs Array is good, but thirty points is too much. I'll barely manage to get three uses out of it, given that I know nothing of arrays, and will not use it as masterfully as you.” He finishes.

“This shield is not the strongest, but even someone stronger than me would need some seconds of full on attacks to break through it, and you are not using it to defend against cultivation, but beasts. It will give you more than enough time to kill the beast.” I explain. “And the Dragon Constructs Array only has three full on uses, but can be used hundreds of times if used to combat weaker enemies. You can even let them roam your farm, to scare off any normal farm thief.”

“A hundred and twenty sect points is all I have, you either accept it or don't.” The farmer says with a tone of finality.

“Okay, i accept it, but you can look for me if you need any other array in your farm, we can work on other ideas.” I say with a smile.

Going back to the mission hall, I hand over a letter to the elder, to prove the completion of the mission.

Looking around the square, I go to a cultivation materials store and ask the clerk if they are buying materials.

“Yes sir, please wait while I go call the store owner.” She says.

“Hello fellow sect disciple, what can I help you with today?” Says a man with a thick beard coming out of the store to talk to me.

“I've got some Moon Chaser Rays’ DanTians, and would like to know if you're interested.” I say while taking out the dantians.

“Oh, these are rare finds. But unfortunately not so many disciples in this sect cultivate with the power of the moon, so it will be difficult to sell. I can buy each for five sect points.” The man says.

“True, not many people cultivate moon ki, but it still can be used in concocting potions and pills. I can think, off the top of my head, of a few pills that need moon ki as an ingredient. I think ten points should be enough for me to be happy and you to still make some money.” I say.

“Hehehe, you're well informed, congratulations. Ok ten points shall be the price.” The store owner says.

Handing him ninety out of the one hundred and five that I managed to gather from the corpses. I finally go home to sleep a little.

Now with a smile, knowing that I own more than a thousand sect points.
