Some days later, as I am walking around in the forest, with several one meter long serpentine dragons of fire floating around me, illuminating my surroundings, I spot, in the distance, an enclosure of houses hanging from the trees, with plataforms linking each house.

Each tree has several floors of houses, with the lowest being at ten meters away from the ground, and the highest that I can see is more than a hundred meters high.

“I was just walking, and bumped into the city.” I answer. “By the way, what's the name of this city?”

“This is Black Wood City, and we don't welcome any visitors, please, keep on your way.” He says.

“Come on mate, I need to buy some supplements, salt and other items.” I say. “Give me some hours to buy, then I'll go.”

“Let him stay, I think I have something he could help me with.” Says a man of the same species as the first one, but the age in his voice says that he is older.

As he walks to the lower platform, he says slowly. “if you travel one week north, you will arrive at a place with a dense death ki, in there is a family of giant spiders that has been killing our hunters for some months now, if you kill these beasts for us, i can let you stay in the city for a while, and even will give you ten gold coins to buy your supplements.”

“Do you know their cultivation stage? What about a number, how many of them are there?” I ask.

“The few that we managed to kill are in the later stages of ki gathering, with one in the ki condensation, but they should have stronger ones in their nest.” The old man answers.

“Don’t you think you are asking for too much, when only paying me this few?” I ask.

“The only valuable thing in the world is knowledge, I want some new runes and arrays, can you give me some?” I say my price.

“Ok, for each spider killed we shall give you one rune, and for the complete annihilation of the nest, ill give you two full arrays.” He says, looking up at my face.

“Consider it done.” Forming a small hand with light manipulation, I sent it his way, stopping it in front of him,waiting for the hand shake.

The elder is taken aback by the sudan hand in front of him, but after a second of thinking, and looking at my real hand that is almost as big as his body, he shakes the light hand.

“How can I find them?” I ask.

“Go straight north for six days, you will find a land desolated by death. They are in the middle.” The elder says, pointing north.

“Ok, see you in a few days” I say, as I start walking north.

In the platform, beside the elder, two small persons turn off their invisibility, and watch as the giant of this race they know but have never seen, walking towards north, with five dragons floating around him, as if they were natural satellites.

‘Do you think he will make it out alive?” One of them ask.

“He should be powerful enough to kill some of them, even if he dies. So either he helps us to kill them all, or he kills some of them and still helps us a little.” The elder days, as he makes his way up the city.
