"This is what you wanted?"
"What? You don't like it."
"What is it?"
"It's a whip."
"And what are those on the ends of it."
"They're supposed to be knives but the Warden wouldn't let me have actual ones so they're dulled."
"So it's two knives, connected by a chain, and this is supposed to help us how?"
"Just, come on, let's go."
This isn't for us, this is for me. I don't know what's happening right now and we'll use this opportunity to our advantage, but, if someone can break into a facility like this their probably someone we don't want to mess with no matter what their reasons are. If we run into that person I'm damn well going to make sure I have everything I can in my favor.
"Carnie, where are we going?"
"Just shut up and keep lookin' pretty."
Okay, fuck you too.
We make our way through the halls, Carnie taking the lead, but both of us fending off the agents we come across. For some reason every agent we run into doesn't seem to have any ability, I wonder where all the ones with abilities are?
I've been practicing with this thing in my cell so no one knew about it, and as a result I've never had this much room to use it. Coming around a corner there is an agent standing at the end of the hall. Even with Carnie's speed, he'll be able to draw his gun with the distance we have between us. Though her reaction is instant, I'm able to catch her before she takes off after him.
"No! Get behind me!" Surprisingly she listens and stops moving, letting me catch up and pass her. If she takes a dart I don't know how it will affect her. Even if it doesn't knock her out because of her healing capabilities it still might make her slower. No point in her taking a dart when we can avoid it entirely.
Predictably the agent instantly drew his gun, so by the time I made it past Carnie he had already let off a dart. Since it was so predictable my knife was already up. I held it in a reverse grip and moved it to where it looked like the dart would strike. It struck my knife, deflecting off it and into the wall. It probably seemed like now would be the perfect time to strike to Carnie, but I had already been fooled by this once. He let me close a good amount of distance, probably trying to make me feel like I've won, before pulling out his secondary dart gun. Too bad for him he was just in my range. While he was in the process of pulling out his gun and aiming it at me I let go of the knife in my left hand while bringing my right hand, which still held one end of the chain, up and to my left side before whipping it around the back of me and slung my arm forward. Where my arm stopped the chain started, it shot out like he was magnetic.
"Oh shit!" I had aimed to hit him in the forehead to disorient him until I closed the remaining distance... The shock of watching the dull, but still pointed, knife dig into his eye had caused me to yell out. I quickly pulled back on the chain. As it left the gash where his eye should be his gun hit the floor, he had instantly dropped it when the knife stuck into his eye. I caught the knife as it came back to me and then wrapped the excess chain that connected the two knives around my forearms and behind my neck. He screamed holding his eye while I passed him. It wouldn't even be a second later before he was knocked unconscious, the only thing letting me know would be the abrupt halt of his screams. One well place hit from Carnie could knock almost anyone out.

I definitely need to work on my aim with these... Just learning to get it to shoot out straight and not hitting myself with it were the goals of my covert training I did with this. It hadn't taken me long to succeed at both but I never did have enough room to use this to its fullest.
Arriving at a door Carnie hesitates, "What's behind it?" I can't help but ask her given the reaction she displayed.
"I... don't know, this is as far as I have ever scouted. I mean, this is the door to the disaplinarry-wing, obviously... I hope. Hurry up dammit, enter the pin!"
I walk over to the door and enter a pin. A beep rings out signaling the failure of the code.
"What the fuck!"
"Calm down Carnie, there are twenty-eight pins, I'll have to enter each one until I find one that works."
"I knew you couldn't do it!"
"Carnie, you saw the same piece of wall I did, there was nothing on there that told you what doors each opened." She needs to calm the fuck down. Besides, constantly entering in the pins will help me remember them better. I proceed to enter each combination.
"Don't go so fast or you'll end up hitting the wrong number! Then you'll think it didn't work!"
"Would you like to enter them???"
"...You know I can't."
"Alright then, it's time for you to sit there and look pretty, I know what I'm doing, and even if I look like I'm moving fast to you it isn't that fast to me, so I'm not going to fuck up!"
"..."
After entering nineteen different pins the door finally opens. Carnie and I both glance at each other before smiling. This was the first step to escaping and we had passed it!
"What the fuck are y'all doing?" Our smiles changed to anger, and then surprise after we realized whose voice it was. Turning around I see Red standing there looking at Carnie, then me, and back to Carnie.
Carnie was the first to react verbally, "FUCK! What are you doing here, shouldn't you be in your room?"
"Did you really think I would go in my room without knowing where you were? I waited for you to show up but you never did."
My curiosity got the better of me, "How did you find us?" Could it be that she knew Carnie's plan?
"It's not hard to follow the unconscious bodies of agents laying in the halls."
No, definitely not, by her reaction she doesn't know what were doing.
"Come on Carnie, you need to get to your room, it's not the time for your little games."
"This isn't a game Red, I'm getting out of here."
"Getting out? You're planning to escape, and you're helping her? Why?"
"I'm tired of being a fucking lab rat here, that's all we are. They want to get as much information out of us as they can and then put us in their brainwashing program. The best part of it is that people are actually fighting to get into it without even realizing it., and you ask me why I'm breaking out of this hell hole?"
"No, why didn't you tell me?"
