What did he just say? Is his ability really that damn strong?
No, I have to stay on track, "Did you see who did it?"
"It happened so fast I wasn't able to see the person, but don't worry about it. This sort of thing happens all the time in the penitentiary."
"I'm not worried I just came here to get some information is all."
"Oh, well then what do you need to know about."
"Looks like I'm going to be having some more matches so I need to know how to not get locked up again."
----------------------------------------
So, the matches are basically just a free-for-all. There is no out of bounds, you can use weapons if both parties agree, and the only way to get disqualified is to intentionally try to permanently damage your opponent. I'm sure she made the last rule vague so she could use it as she saw fit.
That's all I needed.
They led me back to my room and unchained me. After leaving the door stayed open. looking up to where the sound of the speaker always comes from I cocked my head, "Are you trying to bait me?"
"(Click) You have cooperated and as long as you continue to do so you will keep and gain more privileges. You can now leave your room for an hour a day, not including mealtimes."
"Where do I go?"
"That is up to you. While the penitentiary wing isn't as versatile as the others it still has a few areas in which you can socialize."
Don't have to tell me twice. I make my way out of my cell and wander the halls. Stopping by the cafeteria I see it's completely empty, which means there has to be somewhere else around here where people can gather. When she mentioned socializing I figured it would just be sitting in here. I cautiously make my way through the halls, going further than I had ever been. I find myself at the entrance of a huge room. It had exercise equipment at the far end, multiple sparring mats in the middle, and the rest was a resting slash socialization area I guess. It was where most of the people in the room were, but this definitely wasn't all the people in the penitentiary wing.
Way in the far back of the room I could see a girl in very short exercise shorts and a shirt with one sleeve ripped off. That's Red-lips alright, I could spot those legs from anywhere. Walking in the room I stick to the wall, doing my best to stay out of people's attention. I make my way to Red-lips, the people in the rest areas noticed me but the ones sparring on the mats didn't. I ignore the couple of side glances, picking up a ten-pound dumbbell as I move.
Is that a piece of metal? At first, I thought it was a punching bag because of how it is hanging but as I approached her I notice it didn't move like one at all. With every strike she threw it flew back like a punching bag but it didn't give at all. Now a couple of feet away from her I confirmed it was a solid cylinder of metal just hanging from a lift. There were punching bags all around the workout area but hers was the only metal one. Her fist made a dull thump every time she struck it.

"Hey Red, I need to talk with you."
Red-lips hit the "bag" one last time, it lifted up into the air and came swinging back at her. She stepped forward, her side facing it with one arm open. It slammed into her side and she grabbed it with her open arm, stoping it and then turning her head to me.
As soon as she saw me her face slightly reddened, her eyes opening wide. I stepped close to her doing my best to intimidate her... and not look at her legs, "Were you the one who did it?"
"The hell are you talking about?"
"You were the one who put Wayne in medical weren't you?" I tighten my grip around the dumbbell and get even closer to her.
She goes to grab me but I slip to the side and bury the dumbbell in her face. It ricocheted off her cheek as if I had just hit a concrete wall.
Fuck, I should have known the dumbbell wasn't going to do shit.
I let go of the dumbbell grabbing her outreached arm and tossing her over my hip. She slams into the ground, pausing for a second and looking around. She does a lot of throwing people around so she probably isn't used to getting thrown herself. I use the time to roll to the side and grab a barbell off the rack. Using most of my strength I grab one end and swing the other down on her like a hammer. It connects with her throat and she flinches a little.
That's it? Just a flinch. I just throat chopped you with a barbell and all I get is a damn flinch! What do I have to do to take you down!
She grabs the barbell with one hand and yanks it to the side, my grip betraying me as I get carried with it. I let go and roll to the side to try and put distance between us. Getting back to my feet I hear the other people yelling.
"Oh, fuck. RUN!!"
"SHIT, hold up Red!"
They were all sprinting away.
Spinning around an object was almost right in front of my face. I jerk my head to the side, it just barely missing and a loud metal hitting metal sound rang out from behind me. Taking in what I was looking at I see Red holding a stack of weight plates in one hand and the other launching them. She was tossing them like they were fucking frisbees! I dodged them as they flew at me. If I were to just get grazed by one I'm sure I would have a few broken bones, that's how fast they were flying. Freshly out of plates she reaches down and grabs the barbell, picking it up with one hand and launching it at me like a javelin. it slips past me stabbing into the wall on the other side of the room.
"Was it not enough for you just to throw him around? Did you need more? Come on then show me!" I run at Red jumping into the air and drop-kicking her in the chest. She grabs my foot, using it to pull me to her and grab my shirt. Now I'm hanging sideways in the air and she brings me to her head level, "It wasn't me jackass! What more would I want with you? Your just a small, weak man, same as him."
lifting me above her head she throws me onto one of the sparring mats a good twenty feet away. I land on my side but I use my lead arm and leg to go into a roll to lessen the damage. If she really wanted to hurt me she could have thrown me higher in the air... or just crush me.
