When SAV told me that the elevator has been activated, I half expected to hear the sound of the laser turrets shooting wildly. instead, I was greeted with a live feed of a little girl in medieval peasant clothing looking around the elevator. Well, at least I know that era we are in. Though I guess it should have been obvious. Going through the mine door. You know, the one next to the elevator. I see her still going down on the elevator. it's an automatic door that slides up, has a panel on the side too, classic sci-fi. the glass tube holding the elevator does nothing to hide the little girl's amazement at the main room and how big it is. at least, I hope that's amazement.
with the elevator finally, on the ground, I give a command to SAV to open the door as I walk to it. reaching out to the little girl with as much emotion that I can display on my screen, I help her off, even though it was not even raised above the ground. Gotta have those first impressions, you know?
"Who would you be, little girl? what are you doing here in my facility?" my voice was that of a 16-year-old. I really need to change that, too bad it can't be changed by the {voice modulation} skill. I think its set. focusing back on the girl, I notice that her clothes are slightly burnt, then other parts were frozen. what happened?
