"System, explain." I say.
"wait, yours can think?" he says back
of course he has one too, I wouldn't be surprised if I was the plucky side character in the bad light novel that is his life. does that mean my life is a fanfiction?
It's not don't worry. but yes, he has a system too. something called the 'first fantasy XII' system
"bootleg final fantasy?"
"hey, I'll have you know that first fantasy was an amazing franchise!" he says angrily
ah, ok. different home universes. got it. its like shield hero and the 4 heroes, but less grimdark wish-fulfillment and more I'm a robot.
"as we are obviously from different versions of the same universe, I propose a trade. you use your protagonist powers to procure me materials that I can make shit with, and use those materials to make shit that this world has never seen before, distribute it around somewhat, and give you something maybe." while this seems like a mostly one-sided trade, do you know how hard some things I'm going to need in the future are to get? SAV, bring up the first requirement to make the portal generator I wanted earlier.
[3.5kg of Psymetal Alloy]
and how do you make Psymetal Alloy?
[15kg of anti-carbon is required to react safely with 35kg of plasteel in a positron-neutrino collider furnace]
not even gonna ask for how to make those.
"deal, this seems like something way better then it sounds, and you seem to have a tinker power from Flea. can I make a request as to what I get?" he fell for it, and I'm guessing that Flea is Worm.
"sure, why not. just don't expect me to be able to make it immediately, still need factories and stuff." i say

And then the negotiation starts

well that was fun. he asked for an artillery system, something to make homeland defense a breeze. I said yes, so now I have to make a sensor and a cannon that can shoot anywhere in his kingdom. the good thing is though, I now have a supplier!
granted it's only for basic resources. but that means that I don't have to do it, AND I get free shit.
truly, this was one-sided.
so, the first shipment of both Iron and coal will be arriving in about 5 days. plenty of time to do stuff, I still haven't stopped producing the spiders, but I am having them branch off in the quarry, so now I have a mine. Its almost into the mantle by the way. That means geothermal power now! less pollution means less chance of being discovered.
do I need to explain more? no? ok.
so, with a newly created trade network that is heavily in my favor, I did what any self-respecting AI would do in this situation.
I went exponential.
Ok, that sounds bad. SAV, explain please, I have things to do.
[a packet of self-replicating nanomachines is able to be produced from the administrator production line, there is enough material to produce one for now, but with the nature of self-replication, that problem can easily be fixed. The Administrator has allowed the production of self-replicating nanomachines with the condition that they are directly linked to their consciousness.]
yep, I'm OP as hell right now. and because of the new title that I got nothing can stop me!
Effect negated
see?
I still need to look into biomechanical things, and a mage so that I can start gaining more mana.
oh well, I'll burn that bridge when I get to it.
Think that I can kill an actual dragon now? If my extinction rays can core a mountain, I think I would be able to wreck one in a fight. and my knowledge of fantasy worlds tells me that dragons have useful materials, anything from reality warping hide to space melting fire.
magic is bullshit, because it gives real dragons the ability to melt space and fake ones like me robot ness. SAV, tell me when the nanobots are ready, I'm going to grey goo a dragon.
[affirmative.]
----------------------------------------
admittedly, I should have maybe added more countermeasures to the nanobots on the off chance that magic bullshit changes one. while I am essentially a hivemind entity, I don't have the processer power to take on trillions of robots. so yes, trying to take on a tun of robots before I was ready did crash me. it's like going unconscious, but with more headaches. and while I was rebooting, the nanomachines may have started converting the facility.
total losses equate to the new factory, about 200 spidertrons, and digger.
god I miss him.
at least I have nanobots now. already made them pull the necessary stuff from the ground to remake the parts lost.
its gonna take a while to rebuild though.
