I would have honestly thunk that my high inquisitor was insane if not for the fact that I could see the destruction caused from my bedroom window. Fangrock mountain had a hole cored through the middle of it, its summer was still there but I could see the EverDark through it, as well as the new plains and the new crater.
Im going to have to get the cartographers to edit the topology on the maps.
this month literally could not get any worse. first, it was the workers going on strike. next, the duchess of Garval had the gull to insight a civil war, and that's not to say of the support she is getting from the Sento empire. and now I have a pissed off young dragon that can do THAT to a mountain, if it weren't for his help in saving my daughter, I would have executed Vaelius when he told me that he made a new problem for me to deal with.
I swear It's almost like things are going wrong because they can. Its playing hell with my mentality. it's a good thing that Vaelius gave a description of the dragon. humanoid, shining silver hide, glassy dark grey face, glowing eyes, lack of wings. I am almost sure that I have heard of this kind of being before, but where?
Stolen novel; please report.
The damned thing is already attacking my mind, I will not play your games, beast!
"desmond! get your ass over here!" I shout, shouting is a good way to relieve stress I've found. a soothing venting method.
"yes, my lady?" he says coming in "were you outside the door or something?!" I ask, to which he nods. "I am in need of your professional opinion, is it at all possible to rid myself of the stress that that beast is giving me?" I say. "the way we are as of now. it is not likely that we are able to slay the beast using only brute force" he replies "as I thought, we are going to have to appeal to it some other way. Vaelius said that it spoke, so maybe we would be able to tempt it into forgetting our transgressions?" thinking out loud gets the creative juices flowing faster. maybe I should reveal some of my future projects soon, even if just to gain the extra edge against a Dragon with a strong enough thrust for knowledge to not only speak, but protect a child.
If only I got to keep my magic crest. I blame Zelretch for this entire mess.
