The flaw is that I can’t call them subsidiaries of House Violet, but there is no need to do so anyways. That flaw is only temporary, as long as I reach godhood, I will have enough power to fully claim the origin of the lost origin realm. Other gods did so too, I am technically only using remnants of the origin to power a few spells that any god could do anyways, so there is no real conflict of interest between me and other gods.
If House Violet becomes a larger faction with a god at one point, then that’d just prove its own strength, as the remnants aren’t enough to create a god. With the birth of a god, the faction ‘House Violet’ would have proven itself, becoming a faction independent on the lost realm.
The problem is that technically, I’d have to only be the founder of House Violet for my ascension to prove it’s worth, since I am going to found more factions, my origin would spread thinner and I’d need either more people that also ascends while having a deep relation to my factions, or each faction would have to create their very own god.
Since it would be too difficult for me to get a large quantity and make it so that each of them somehow has a deep relation with all factions, I’ll just make one person in each faction a god. Onaia is a good choice for now, but it’s way too soon to make her the one I fully support with resources. Not to mention that I’ll probably have to ascend before them, or I’d only be the founder and not the first head of House Violet.
As long as I ascend before anyone else, that’ll make me the eternal first head of House Violet, and any god after me would have to deflect to gain more authority. This situation wouldn’t happen, since any god nurtured by the faction would have their origin too deeply intertwined, and because my authority is very minimal in the first place. If I was a Tyrann, then I’d have to always be stronger, but I positioned myself as the de-facto overseer of the council.
No decision is taken without my approval, but I can’t make decisions on my own, they’d still have to be voted for in the council. If I fail my role as an overseer and abuse my power too much, then at one point, my authority will loosen up and the other heads would gain the option to vote me out of my position.
What was that game called… oh right! ID’s Please. I just have to keep my two stamps of approval and denial. If the decision is good for the family, I’ll approve. If it’s bad, I’ll deny. Whether something is good or bad would have to be explained properly, but some hard no’s are allowed too, as long as I don’t overdo it.
If some of those MCs of different novels read the way I reign and control… they’d facepalm themselves and think ‘why are you letting go of control’… so stupid. Since I am letting go of it, that creates more opportunities for every other head in the family. If I was the sole person that reigns, then everything has to be achieved by me, every single origin gathered by me.
Why would I do something so exhausting, when I could let go of control, make the heads somewhat more independent, and whatever good they do, will be reflected in the origin-pool of the family. Since they gathered it themselves, they’d have partial ownership of it and someday they’ll have enough to ascend to godhood.
If I do everything myself, then none of my underlings would ever get the opportunity, if I don’t exert myself to give it to them, but that would create a weak puppet god. Anyways, whatever origin they create, will always be partially owned by me as long as I stay in my position. You call this passive income, the perfect way of retirement, and I won’t be foolish enough to think that I’ll be able to rest without worry after suppressing every member of my family for centuries. Nah, things will go just fine.
It's not like I have to accept stupid ideas if I can explain why they’re stupid. And any idea that is not stupid will generate origin. Origin is the same as fame, it’s good as long as you have it, and it doesn’t matter how you got it, whether through scandalous or righteous acts, as long as you can bear the responsibility of them.

While thinking a lot about all this, I of course, have long arrived in the Ritual Chamber. For many, laying down rituals is a strain, but for me it’s pretty fine, since the strain is like a wave of questions regarding your knowledge of rituals. My passive thoughts answer them all as they come, so my active thoughts can think of plans and create schemes while I lay down the ritual.
The ritual is finished! “Kendrick, get that girl here!” said girl came, restricted as she was, she was barely able to do anything. Her father was already murdered since there was no need for him, he wasn’t even a good sacrifice for other things.
Hmm, so what are my next plans…
1. Onaia’s Ritual
2. Onaia’s Talisman
3. That smart dude’s Ritual to become a demon
4. Pack things prepare to leave
5. Visit the branch of Silent Travellers Emporium
It's not really luck that Silent Travellers Emporium controls the pathway to the southern continent… it was literally in my plan before starting this round, as much as it was part of my plan that, in comparison, this start point is pretty close to the central trade hub for the southern continent. Someone might think it’s actually in the centre of the continent, but obviously it would be in the north where it’s connection to the main continent.
Okay so, I am basically finished with the ritual, I only need to see if it is indeed compatible for now and drain the girl’s essence. This will be a time-consuming process, so it’s better to do it now and finish the ritual tomorrow.
The talisman and the demon conversion ritual also need blood essence… “Keen, come here!”
Keen soon appeared “Go tell your new third head to come here.”
Taking out a black piece of paper and a thin brush, Alaric begins writing. The black paper was the highest-grade paper that his father had in his possession, it could be used for fifth circle talismans. He began writing in the language of the Void Gods, those wandering the void. They had the biggest expertise in space-affinity, since they could exist in the void, which was filled with lots and lots of space-affinity, since there was a lack of anything else.
The black piece of paper was soon filled with words in the void language, even though no ink was used. Space-Affinity would work much better with proper ink, but the wrong ink would ruin it in, so it was better. Void Runes didn’t need ink to exist in space as long as they had a strong material to anchor themselves on it, and the black paper was barely enough.
He soon finished his, Kendrick brought in the girl by then, but he waited on the side. Onaia was also spectating and looking curiously at the black paper that seemed to have words on it, but they were very weird and seemed to consist solely of essence.
Alaric turned to Kendrick and saw the girl struggling, he looked at her with disgust as she was crying, it seemed this was the only body part that she could use. “Look at you, don’t you think you pity yourself too much? This is a risk you should’ve expected when you planned everything.
Did you think everyone is stupid? A young commoner like you coming to such a place, you probably had to coax the baron a lot to attend. Now what have you done? You wanted to step into the bedchamber of high nobles, did you ever think that playing with them was bad? What a shame, your adoptive father was too naïve, now he’s dead, but don’t worry, you’ll follow.”
The girl cried more and more, ignoring her, Alaric told Kendrick “Put her on the right of the ritual and bleed her out a bit. She has a very high affinity, so this ritual will be long lasting. The initial ritual will drain a large part of it to strengthen and seal you, Onaia. The rest will truly be the light affinity, but it has to be accumulated over time, so you will have to come here every day and absorb the energy in the ritual.
Don’t worry, you don’t have to feed her, the portion of the affinity for the first part will be taken away from her body, so she will instantly die, and her body will collapse into affinity motes that are absorbed. The rest will be consumed from her soul which will be sealed in the ritual. Guess what this rituals name is!
It’s called ‘Wandering Sun’! The sun of someone leaves them and becomes someone else’s sun. Do you see the ritual? This is the Holy Language. They use this ritual to transfer the light affinity of some of their believers into holy affinity of others. Normally there are mass rituals with dozens of people giving up their ritual to create a priest of theirs. They call this ‘meticulous service’! What a joke, they are literally siphoning someone’s talent for their own servants. Whatever, I am not the first to abuse this ritual, it is just so rarely used as no one that wants to transfer light affinity… those that would abuse it are more inclined to other affinities, after all, so it would hurt them most of the time, especially those with dark mana.”
