“Well I got good news and bad news, so let start with the bad,”
Director Keegan said in a serious tone, making everyone to hold their breath. The silent engulfs the room, allowing one to hear a needle dropped from across the room. With all eyes on him, he began his little dramatic speech.
“A few minutes ago, John I told to take a walk about thirty minutes ago, somehow manage to injured himself and can’t work this.”
Scanning over the crowd Lefu saw any that were saddened that their co-worker injured himself but happy instead. He also manages to spot few resistances clapping at the news.
“I’m sure many of you can guess the good news, It’s we don’t have to deal with him for the week, the only downside to that is we need to rework few lines which aren’t unreasonable.”
Ending with himself clapping, nearly everyone was cheer with the director almost shouting. The laughter and cheers began to die down a few seconds later, and with a wave of his hands, he brought everyone attention back to him. When all eyes returned to him, he continued to speak.
“Today we have two new members who joining us for the week and hopefully in future, so let's give a big welcome to Lefu and Clare.”
The room was filled with clapping as everyone stared at them. After a few seconds, everyone directed their attention back to the Director as they didn’t want to make the two feel embarrassed. The Director quickly stuck his hand on his other arm and held up a fist as a person signal announcing that he was done.
“We are shooting the basement scene and let get it done as the current weather report have temperature nearer 90oF. So let get the filming started since we are running behind,” He began giving out orders.
Hearing that nearly all the actors began their ritual to get into character. Lefu who was watching them seen few doing light bounces, while other were doing few stretches. After a few seconds of getting into character, the atmosphere changed almost making Lefu mistake them for another person.
The crowd began exiting through the door and wrapping around the entrance to the basement as only a few cameras and the actor who part of the scene can enter. Stepping down steps Lefu heard the footsteps creaking as Clare and Camilla were ahead of him.
When Lefu stepped into the basement, he saw that space seemed more prominent than the entire cottage, but with the lack of lighting, and quite a few large and small cobwebs it gave off an eerie feeling. In the center of the room, two wooden coffins with iron crosses welded to the lids where open. Glancing inside the coffin, Clare saw that the one on the left was lined with purple fabric and pillows lining the bottom, while the right one was bound in red and cushions on the bottom.
“Hop into the coffins you two,” Camilla stated while leaning on a shovel she using for the scene. The shovel appears to have some age to it as few rust spots appear over it. With a sideways glance at the coffin, Camilla kept shifting her eyes between the two as they laid down in the coffins.
“When the two of you here, “It useless Vampire Crystal. We have the place surrounded.” is your queue to exit the coffins. After that, you two will stand outside the coffins for a few minutes allowing the camera to capture different views. I will then hold up two figures, who will tell you to bust out the moves after you run up to the police which stormed in. Be careful not to strike them, then you guys will run out of the basement. That will be the scene.” the Director gave Lefu and Clare a few more instructions.
Watching as the lid closes, Lefu laid in darkness as a light filter inside with the holes carved in so he could hear outside and have some ventilation. Outside he could listen to Camilla, speaking her lines, which sounded more like witchcraft. After few minutes of laying there the sound of creaking filled the room, which about ten other actors in police uniforms stormed in.
Quickly sliding into character, Lefu entire being seemed to change his role as cool yet disinterested in life vampire. He continued waiting for the line to appear, but laugh which sounded eerie to everyone outside as one of the actors stumbled speaking his line.

Sitting in his director chair, Director Keegan was watching the scene play out but as it continued something bugged him. He felt something was missing, but he watched Michael who was leading police officer for the stage and Camilla speak their lines. While expressing his line Michael stammered his lines, and he was ready to yell cut when Lefu coffin started to laugh making the missing element appear.
He gave out the signal to keep rolling and improvise allowing the laughter to fit perfectly into the scene.
“It useless Vampire Crystal. We have the place surrounded.”
With the queue given both lids slid off and a pale hand appeared on the side of the coffin. With two figures slowly rising all the cameramen unconsciously shifted his camera over to capture the two. Stepping out of the coffin the two stood side by side, capturing the essence of their character perfectly.

Giving the signal, the two began moving and quickly did what they lightly knocked the police actor out and disappeared from the basement. Only after a few seconds did the cameramen regain their sense when the director shouted cut.
“Were they really beginners?” Michael asked as he stood up while looking over to the director.
“They were nearly perfect, and manage to capture our attention,” Cameraman one said as he reviewed the footage.
“Call the two back down,” Director Keegan ordered.
“We are already here,” a cold voice sounded from the steps as Clare reappeared.
“Hope my laughter didn’t ruin the shot,” Lefu cheerful said right behind Clare.
Shooting Lefu a cold glare, Clare took few steps away from him not wanting to be close to him outside the filming of the scene. Wearing his wry smile and lightly shaking his head, Lefu nearly forgot her personality.
“Your laugh made the shot even better than intended, and judging by the what I saw we shouldn’t need to retake the scene,” Director Keegan praised.
Few moments he said that one of the editors, gave him the thumbs up as the voices and the scene was captured perfectly and what left was adding in the special effect such as speeding up Clare and Lefu, or adding dramatic music.
The director thought for a moment before saying, “Well, that was completed faster than planned, Now let get going onto the next the scene. This scene really straight forwards as Lefu and Clare are racing across the field.”
Climbing out of the basement the staff quickly assembled the camera to capture the running. While the team set everything up, Lefu began lightly stretching while Clare stood off to the side chatting with her mother. After waiting for about a half hour, the camera was in place and the path been marked out.
“This part is pretty easy as your only jogging it, but few takes might be needed for the cameras, any questions you two?” a Cinematograph staff member explained.
“Got it, only need to jog down the path,” Lefu replied.
“Correct,” the staff member said clapping his hand together. A few seconds later he was behind the camera and did a final check and shot up a thumbs up announcing that they are ready.
With the signal, Director Keegan glanced around and made sure everyone in place. Get the thumbs up from the other members, they were finally ready for the next scene.
“Actions!”
Receiving que to begin Lefu and Clare started jogging down the path for about two hundred or so meters. Going at the same pace, the two ran at the same pace until Clare began speeding up. Not wanting to lose as his competitive nature kick in Lefu sped up and passed Clare, who sped up on again, until they were both sprinting.
“Director, shouldn’t you yell cut?” Camilla asked watching the two teens Increase their speed.
“Nah, I like their speed it as if they're running away which we could use at the ending scene with these two, but they are going need to redo as we need a jog here not full on sprint,” Director Keegan replied.
“Those two are going hate that,” Camilla smile while she watched the two breathing heavily as they finished the run. Walking over to them she just grinned and gave them both pat on the shoulder.
With a quick scan Clare realized the grin was the one, that she wears when she finds something amusing but for other it’s troublesome.
“Well, if you two want to race to wait until the scene shot,” Camilla commented, earn her two groans.
“I blame you,” Lefu told Clare.
“How is it my fault,” Clare shouted back.
“If you didn’t start running fast, my nature of not wanting to lose wouldn’t kick in,” Lefu replied.
“And how is it my fault if you're slow,”
“Enough you two, we are retaking the scene,” Camilla Stated.
While they were shouting back an forth, one of the cameramen walked over to the director and producer. While they were filming, he noticed one of the cameras had a wire sticking out, so when he investigated, he found tiny video recorder attached.
“Director, it seems we have a big problem,” He started handing over the camera.
Examining the camera, Director Keegan summoned over the rest of the staff members. He began ordering them to look around for more. After a few minutes, they located a total of 5 around the filming sight but guessed there were more.
“Since we have a bug problem we are moving sites.” The producer announced, confusing some of the actors.
Clare just shrugged since she long exposed to people tapping and bugging her belonging trying to blackmail her father. As for the Lefu he was confused since it a new experience for him. Pulling out her phone Camilla called Bill back so they can head to the new site.
“Where are we going?” Lefu asked.
“Going to the studio, and we're going to film the next fight scene,” the Producer replied.
In under the hour, the equipment and crew were ready, and all agreed to meet at the studio in two hours as it was nearing noon and gave an extra hour as a treat for Clare and Lefu excellent work.
Riding in the backseat Lefu, sat next to Camilla as Clare stole the front seat, and was tuning in and out of the world as Camilla began a long speech about an exciting book she reading lately. She went on talking about how the grammar and few elements need to be fixed, but it was interesting as it was called- Omni System User.
“Lefu do you believe in vampires?” Camilla suddenly asked.
“Yeah, since my mother cooking can turn into slime monsters, I don’t see why they couldn’t exist but are they really as they are described in the legend.” Lefu thoughtless replied not really paying attention to the conversation.
“If you had to pick a side between werewolf and vampire which would you choose?”
“Depends if the werewolf is immortal like the vampire or not. But probably both as turning into wolf sound awesome,” Lefu answered.
“Hmm, that an interesting choice,” Camilla commented as the car pulled up to the three-star restaurant.
