Dashing down the sidewalk and alleyways, Lefu spirited towards his school. As he was running late, it’s because both he and his father got absorbed in the chess game. When Lefu turned the last corner, the school came into view.
‘Honk~, honk~’
A car horn from behind him grabbed his attention as a BMW pulled up next to him. Staring at the window slowly rolling down, it revealed a blond with chilly blue eyes. After a few seconds of looking, he recognized the girl as the one he met when he woke from the car crash.
“Get in.”
Her cold voice which is even more chilly than last time demanded. Waiting few second Lefu didn’t move to open the door but frown.
With a frosty voice,“I said get in, didn’t you hear me!”
“But I don’t know you.” Lefu calmly replied.
Gnashing her teeth, she was ready to scream at him for not following her order. Taking a few steps back, Lefu was ready to run as alarms triggered in his mind. After taking a few more steps, the alarms triggered when he felt cold cement behind him.
‘Why does it feel as if a predator is facing me?’ Lefu thought as he felt like a cold stare was piercing his body. He turned his head away from her to avoid the feeling, but the coldness only increased.
Slowly turning his head back, the once blue eyes turned deep red causing a shiver to run down his spine. Quickly blinking, her eyes returned to the original color of blue.
‘Was I seeing things?’ Lefu’s mind raced as he tried to process what he saw. He tried placing a hand on his chest to calm himself down, but his heart told him it didn’t work.
With a slight amount of fear in his voice, Lefu asked,”Wh-what do you want with me?”
“I. Want. You. To. Get. In. The. Car.”
“Mistress Clare, if you don’t hurry you’re going to be late,” Bill, who Lefu met last time, warned.
“It’s just up the road,” Clare commented before facing Lefu again,”Hurry up and get in.”
“You haven’t told me why I should.” Lefu strongly stated but the trembling in his voice revealed his fear.
“If you want your school bag, you will get in.” Clare cold voice calmly said.
After a few moments passed, an unknown voice spoke, ”Move over.”
Both of them looked over to see who it was, only to see an arrogant brown haired teenager. Scanning the body, both of them scowled as they realized it was Ted Block standing there. As if not minding their stares, he marched over to the car while he sent smug look at Lefu.
With a click the door locked and the window rolled ¾ of the way up. The once smug face turned ugly. But Ted seems to be a pro as it was covered in smile in an instant.
‘He should be an actor at the rate he changes faces,” Lefu thought as he watch Ted gently knock on the window.
“You’re not going to let me in?” He ‘nicely’ asks.
“Go away, you’re annoying. Lefu, you come to the otherside and get in. I still need to talk to you.” Her voice sounded from the other side of the glass.
Not wanting to be Ted’s target after she left, he took the chance and walked to the other side of the car and waited for the quick click before entering. Before Ted realized the door unlocked for quick second the car was pulling away. Sitting next to Clare, which he only learned when Bill said her name, he looked into her eyes.
“Can I have my bag now?” He questioned.
“Only if you agree to my condition.”
“Why? It’s my bag, is it not?”
Feeling her eyes on him, the alarms went off again but he didn’t have room to escape, and he regretted getting in the car.

“What’s the condition? I will agree if it’s reasonable.”
“Next week, the director will start filming the next season of ‘Vampire Life’ and I want you to join me in filming it.” She spoke in an arrogant tone, but a hint of anger was present at the end.
Detecting the anger in her voice, Lefu felt something was off, “Why do you need me to go with you? I barely even know you.”
“Because it’s your fault that I have to go in the first place. My father wanted to meet you to apologise, but you left too fast. And yesterday I tried to meet you, but your mother wouldn’t allow it.” Clare stated but left out a few facts, such as trying to kidnap him and her role in the mess up.
Raising his hand, Lefu interrupted her. By the information, he was sure it was pointless to argue. Taking a card from his father book, he decided to agree with his own condition.
“Fine, I will agree as long I get paid for it.” Lefu stated as he would be wasting valuable time that he could be using to train.
“Why do you want money? You get this once in a lifetime opportunity to star in the hit TV drama ‘Vampire Life’ and meet Camilla Zurie. So why do you want money on top of that?” Clare asked since to her it was a punishment while it’s his five minutes of fame.
“I could use the time filming practicing since my dream is to fight in the UFC. So of course I want to be paid as it is valuable time to me.” Lefu clarified as the car came to stop in front of the entrance doors.
Rolling her eyes at his dream, she looked over his body. She knew he worked out, but his body looks more like it belonged on the big screen than the fighting ring. The look in her eyes made him feel as though she was making fun of him. He knew his body lacked in the ‘wow’ factor as other UFC fighters looked more impressive than he did, but he felt that he could still manage.
Glaring at her, his opinion of her dropped even further than it already was and made him want to back out of the deal. But since he agreed to do, he just looked to the day they were done.
Exiting the vehicle, the sound of shock or moans of despair filled the air. With a quick survey of his surroundings, Lefu saw looks of despair on the males’ faces, while enough shock to light a city was on the females’. Upon seeing their reactions, he was confused on why this happened as he only stepped out with Clare.
Grabbing his bag, he went into the building followed by Clare, where he was greeted with a death glare from his science teacher- Mrs. Robert who was smacking a ruler in her hand.
“You’re late by one minute.” Mrs. Robert stated.
“We were hold up on something.” Lefu replied with monotone voice.
Just glaring at him with a small sigh, she allowed them to pass since it involve heir of Zurie, which could cost her, her teaching career. After seperationing from Clare, Lefu made his way to his math class where Mr. Adams just glanced at him as he entered a minute after the bell rang.
Taking his seat, the large boy next to him began slide his chair far away as possible nearly blocking the alley. With fast glance Lefu, frowned as usual the boy would start talking about web novels, comic, ect. But today he want to get far away as possible.
In a whisper, ”Toby, did I do something wrong?”
Noticing the sweat that began to form, Lefu turned away as the boy let out a small phew as if he met a dangerous beast and magically survived. When more time passed, Lefu noticed that nearly all the boys, from his side of the room was across the room from him. Confused what got into them which it only increased when Mr. Adams didn’t say anything.
‘Did I do something? I did take a shower so I don’t stink.’ Lefu wondered why as his classmates and teacher avoided him like the plague.

Clare, who seperated from Lefu, naturally made her way to her English class where nearly everyone was swarming her; the complete opposite of what was happening to Lefu. Approaching her was a teenage girl who was currently wearing shorts, If they can even be called that being that...well, short.
“I Heard you got a boyfriend.” She stated in a sarcastic tone, but Clare just smiled.
“It seems you’re doing well, Jess,” She said giving the girl a quick hug.
“I’m feeling better after being gone for a week, yet when I came back I heard rumors of you giving out love letters arriving a few minutes ago with a boy. I was shocked that the school’s ‘Ice Queen’ had a boy near her after rejecting countless others.”
“He’s not my boyfriend! He was just involved in some problems that happened a few days agos.” Clare stated, though she didn’t clarify what problems.
“Oh, and here I thought you finally found yourself someone but guess the one to melt your heart has yet to appear.” Jess teased.
“Yes!” Many of the boys were shouting while doing a victory pose as they still have a chance to grab the ‘Ice Queen’s’ heart. Giving them all a chilly stare, many of them returned to their seats. They didn’t dare to look towards her as their bodies trembled.
“Sigh, boys are idiots most of the time.” Jess said as she held her head in her hands.
Rolling her eyes in response to her friend, they took their seats as their teacher didn’t dare interrupt them. Right after sitting down, Clare began to drift off into wonderland which caused the poor teacher to sigh. She didn’t dare interrupt her. There was also no reason to say anything as she had the highest grade in the class.

In this fashion, both of them ended their day with Lefu being avoided like a disease and Clare the center of attention. Walking to the door side by side, neither of them said anything as they went their separate ways. But before Clare got into her car, she turned and lightly shouted:
“The car will pick you up monday morning since it a week off of school.”
Sighing as he felt the death stares of everyone who heard that, Lefu marched off the campus. The cause of his misfortune just smiled as she then stared at her phone as the car drove away from the campus. As it left she took a glance at the message her father sent her about her role.
“You gotta be kidding me!”
