Chapter 1

Deep inside his mind realm, Lefu was staring at a single sentence that shined brightly while it lit up what seemed to be the black abyss. With the lightly blue tinted sentence shining brightly, the feeling of crisis washed over him as a question appeared right below it.

[Welcome to the Omni-System.]

[Do you accept Y/N]

The more he hesitated as to what to answer, the more wary he felt about the lack of other information. What would happen if he said no? Or if he pressed yes? Lefu shouted into the abyss, looking for answers, but no reply ever came beside those two lines. The more that time passed, the more he felt that he wouldn’t be able to leave if he didn’t choose.

“Screw it, if worse comes to worst, I will be dead!” Lefu shouted into the abyss as he clicked ‘yes.’ A black-colored hole formed below his feet, and sucked down. Lefu lifted his middle finger as his last message to the space before the black hole closed.

After what felt like a few years, Lefu gradually opened his eyes only to see cold, deep blue eyes staring back at him. Scanning who the eyes belonged to, he stared at the teenage girl who seemed to be around his age of eighteen, with a delicate frame and snow white skin. Her blonde hair, voluminous bust and perfect figure mesmerized Lefu for a few seconds before he regained his senses.

“Who are you?” She asked in a chilly voice, looking him straight in his gray eyes.

In a whispering voice, Lefu said, “...But who are you?”

Hearing him question her made her muscles twitch in dissafiation. Glaring at his body from head to toe, she could see trained, well-toned muscles. But where was the pride or the confidence that came along with it?

Increasing the coldness in her voice, the girl commanded, “I asked first. And speak up. You’re a man, aren’t you?”

“My name is Lefu, and it’s just that my throat is dry!” Screamed Lefu, but it sounded like a whispering yell than a scream. He shot off an annoyed glance at her for questioning his manhood and dropped his opinion of her down into the negatives.

Taking his eyes off of her, Lefu took a chance to look around, noting he was located in a small room, with a large flat screen TV sitting opposite of him playing the hit television drama ‘Vampire Life.’ Next to the television was a giant poster for the up and coming movie of it signed by the cast and director.

With his further inspection of the room he determined the room was located indoors, as no windows were present. Pulling off his blanket he noticed his clothing had been changed and now he was simply wearing pull up shorts. Quickly scanning the room he didn’t see the clothes he was wearing only that the girl was looking at him.

“Where did my clothes go?”

“Those clothes were covered in blood so they threw them out.”

“What am I going wear then?”

Hearing his question she looked to her right and following her line of sight laid a stack of clothing. Looking at the sizes of the clothing he realized that they all were corrected and judging by the fabric costing around two hundred dollars. Taking one look at her, she must have known he wanted to get dressed and walked towards the door.

“After you’re dressed, Bill will escort you out of the premises,” She stated as she exited and revealed a muscular man guarding the door.

Leaping out of bed, Lefu quickly got dressed while feeling soreness in his muscles. Opening the door, Lefu greeted Bill, who nearly a foot above his head. Leading him down the blue hallway, Bill simply walked in silence as Lefu took in his surroundings of plants and paintings scattered about. Passing by a pair of windows, the setting sun could be seen indicating that a few hours had passed since the accident.

Exiting the gate, Lefu glanced up and down the street. Realizing that he had nearly an hour walk home ahead of him, he did a few stretches before taking off. Walking down the road for thirty minutes, he soon passed by the busy gas station that he frequently visits during his morning run. Continuing his walk he felt like it was memory lane as he passed by an alleyway where he had fought against twenty thugs and met Old Mino.

When he reached ten minutes away from his home he saw blockades blocking the roads. Walking pass the blockages he looked left and right down the roads not seeing a single car on the street. He was wondering where the cars were since traffics never sleeps in Rogue city.

Hearing the roaring engines to his left, he looked and saw a pair of sports cars soaring down the pavement. Zooming toward him like speeding comet in night sky, the sport cars battled it out for firsts before the left car left tire suddenly blew out flipping the car in his direction.

“Twice in one day is not acceptable!” Lefu shouted as he dove into the alleyway as the car rolled pass him. The sound of scraping metals and thundering bangs from the car hitting the pavement soon stopped. Rushing out of the alleyway he saw the car flip upon its roof and the driver with a deep gash across his neck.Watching the blood pour out of the wound, Lefu’s mind went blank as he rushed into the alley.

Quickly empting his stomach as this was the first gruesome scene he had ever witnessed. Gathering his will he dialed 911 to report the crash as the other driver was gone without a trace. After waiting few minutes Lefu heard sirens in the distances so he looked over to see line of response vehicle racing toward him.

After blocking off the scene a man in his forties approached Lefu who was sitting against the wall. Looking at his police badge, Lefu gathered that the man called, Detective Alan. The Detective started to ask some routine questions about the accident. After Lefu finished answering the questions, the Detective Alan passed him his business card.

“We will contact you if we need some more questions need answered.”

Grabbing the card, Lefu left the scene and mindlessly wandered as the scene of the blood pouring out is seen every time he blinks. Glancing at his reflection when passing by a few windows showed his current appearance as deathly pale and tear streaks running down. Wiping away the tears he sped home and climbed into the living room where his parents were pacing.

“Son, you’re finally back! You had us so worried,” his mother nearly shouted as she hugged him in a death grip.

“We thought you were dying in some back alleyway or kidnapped when you didn’t come home.” His father added on as he wrapped his muscular arms armed both of them.

Seeing that their son’s feelings were a mess and noticing the tear running down his face, they felt something off. Rubbing his back, they pulled him in close. Feeling their warmth, Lefu gradually felt better.

“What's wrong son?”

“There was an accident where a street racer died after his tire explode causing the car to roll. When the car stopped rolling I looked only to see the man’s throat was cut and blood was gushing out like a waterfall.”

“But what were you doing out so late in the first place?” Lefu’s mother Violet asked with concern.

“I was hit by a black BMW out on the corner after I stopped by the farmer’s market. I only regained consciousness about an hour ago. I then walked back from the Ricco district.”

Looking at his clothing, they finally realized that he was wearing a different pair of clothes than what he wore this morning. Nearly ripping his shirt apart, Violet lifted up his shirt to see bandages wrapped around his chest.

“My poor boy, tell me who did it and I will kill them,” she said as the fiery look in her eyes told him she was not joking. Looking to his father for help, he only saw his father’s muscles flexed to the extreme, making him look like a mountain of muscle.

Seeing his parents react like this managed to lighten his mood as a small laugh exited him. Hearing his laughter his parents just smiled and gave him a few more pats on the back. After nearly twenty minutes had passed, both of his parent yawned as their endless worrying tired them out.

“If you need anything, wake us up,” his father commented before entering their bedroom.

“Don’t hesitate, I will be ready to listen at any time if you need it.” Violet said seriously before following his father.

After the adrenaline rush ended and crying for nearly twenty minutes, Lefu followed his parents’ example and crashed in his bed. Closing his eyes, darkness soon followed.

The next morning Lefu got up and looked at the clock only for it to read ten in the morning. Sitting up in a panic, he raced out of the room to see a note on the table. Looking around the apartment he saw no trace of his parents. Glancing at the note, it read:

‘Take the day off of school and relax, food is inside the fridge if you get hungry. -Mother

P.S. No training for the next few days.’

After reading the note, he relaxed slightly but he didn’t know what to do now as he couldn’t train. Snatching the meal out of the fridge, Lefu switched on the laptop, what he saw was the infamous blue screen making its appearance. Placing his food off to the side, he did a quick reset and began running a scan across the software.

“It seems my luck in the last twelve hours has took the dive into the negatives,” Lefu grumbled as he switched on the news. Looking at the news report he realized they were covering the accident he reported. Watching the show, he soon learned that the victim was the heir to the Thousand Wood Logging Company and he was known to go street racing.

Listening to the reports, Lefu felt something off as they didn’t mention the second driver or an ongoing investigation. Watching until the reporter ended, he could only sigh as someone with powerful connections was covering it up. Seeing that it switched over to the weather, he began channel surfing while he was bored out of his mind.

While Lefu was bored out of his mind, his school was in state of panic as Clare, who was nicknamed Ice Queen, was raising a misunderstanding.
