[Would host like to receive the message?]
A message? Lefu’s thoughts stopped. Should I allow it? Since the system said it was harmless let take it. He quickly accepted the message and allowed a string of words to appear in his mind.
“Congratulation to whoever. If you’re receiving this message then the rings have chosen you to become the Immortal King.” The message explained. “Right now the rings should be in their sealed form. To claim the throne unseal the rings and discover the secret hidden within.”
The message cuts off and leaves Lefu shocked. So that why the throne hasn’t been taken. The last king must have made a deal with the assassin god. Since they didn’t have the rings, they didn’t meet the requirements.
“What wrong young man?” Grandfather Turtle asked.
Realizing that he drifted off, Lefu coughed. “Nothing, just surprised at the important of the rings. Anyways Clare we must go or we might be late.”
“Is it that time already?” Grandfather Turtle said before looking at the clock. “Your right, I wouldn’t want you to be caught in traffic. So have a good day you two.”
Clare grabbed her mother’s earrings and waved goodbye. “Goodbye Grandfather Turtle, it was nice meeting you,” Lefu politely said. He quickly walked the door afterwards. Lefu climbed into the backseat and looked at the pair of rings.
“Well, today going to be interesting,” Lefu said. “If I remember correctly you have a fanclub and they don’t take too kindly to any male that approach you.”
“What do you expect me to do about it?” Clare asked. “I don’t think they will complain much about it though. Haven’t you notice the subtly changes happening to you over the last few days. If anything they say we be a perfect match. I should be worried of girls trying to take you from me,” a icy chill engulfed the backseat.
Why should I care about girls who only want looks? Lefu wondered. I rejected your confession because you made it sound like a mission. I still haven’t accepted you as a girlfriend yet. Is all relationships this hard?
I doubt it, Clare’s replied through the mindlink. Also accept my confession. I’m never letting you go and will kill any woman who get close to you.
Lefu felt a chill down his back. He looked out the window and saw the school ahead. Lefu cut the mind link as the car slowly drove through the gate. What controlling Clare? There no way she could fallen so hard and fast for me. There should be a reasonable explanation as she shouldn’t know much about me.
The car slowly pulled up to the front door, where few cars could be seen driving away. Bill came to a stop and allowed them to exit. “Have a good day you two,” he said before driving away.
Waving goodbye, Lefu faced towards the school. Few of the ones who already faced towards them as if mesmerized. Are they shocked since I arrived with Clare?
Lefu walked side by side with Clare into the building while everyone eyes focused on them. “Well, I’m going to class,” Lefu said as he grabbed his books. Heading towards his math class, seen Mr. Adams writing few simple problems on the board.
“Good morning Mr. Adams. How was your week off?” Lefu asked.
“Eventful. I managed to catch up on Vampire Life, I also managed to grade all the tests.” Mr. Adam happily replied. “How was your week? Did you do anything interesting?”
“I worked during the week with Clare Zurie and somehow became engaged to her?” Lefu replied in weird tone. “Both of our parents are planning the wedding soon after graduation.”
“So your having a shotgun wedding,” Mr. Adams laughed. “I had one right after graduation. So it not the end, but I will tell you a secret: Learn to lie. When your wife picks out the ugliest shirt say it lovely and think about throwing with a excuse.”
“Should you be saying that?” Lefu asked as he look at the woman in the doorway. “It seems your wife here to deliver something again.”
“Honey, you're here,” Mr. Adams turned around in great speed. “Did you miss me so much and came for a morning visit?”
“You forgot your phone again,” She said in cheerful voice. “We will be having a chat later.”

“Yes honey,” Mr. Adams said as if he facing a demon lord.
“Lefu, remember alway be wary of your surroundings,” Mr. Adams whisper. “Or you be in for an unhappy ride.”
“Thanks for the advice,” Lefu said. “But are you going to be ok?”
“I don’t know,” Mr. Adams cried. “Will chocolates or flower work better.”
“Which one do you use more?” Lefu asked.
“Chocolate, so flowers it is,” Mr. Adams said in whisper.
Lefu lightly patted his teacher attempting to cheer him up. Is he going to be ok to teach the class? Lefu wondered as other students began entering the classroom.
Few seconds after the bell rang to mark the end, everyone fell asleep. What going on? Lefu wondered. He closed his eyes and carefully enhanced his hearing. “Seems Clare is fine, but seems the cause of it with her,” Lefu said walking towards the source. I wish the halls were clear.

After separating from Lefu, Clare towards her English class. When she entered the classroom, she spotted her best friend Jess. “Jess, how was your break?” Clare asked running over for a hug.
“Clare, it went terrible,” Jess said in tears. “One of my family business partners heirs propose to me. He good looking and has enough money for few generation.”
“How is that bad?” Clare asked confused.
“The rumors floating around him are terrible,” Jess said in distress. “There are saying he has a different woman everyday. When he does have a girlfriend he still goes out hunting for other women. He a major playboy.”
“Then reject him,” Clare said instantly.
“How? He is from Daisy Gold,” Jess replied in anger. “He belongs to a bigger corporation and the biggest business partner of my family. He says that if we reject him, he will cut the deals between us and run us out of business.”
“Do you want my help?” Clare asked.
“I just figure it out on my own,” Jess replied. “If I rely on you it would seems i relied on you to solve my problems.”
“Remember, don’t hesitate to ask,” Clare asked worried her friend would do something stupid.
“Yeah,” Jess replied as the bell rang.
Clare gave her friend a hug, before taking her seat. She instantly began to drift off in to a daydream. Clare thoughts started happly at hers and Lefu wedding, but a terrifying monster appeared. Both of their parents went to face it but were instantly killed. Watching their parents die, Lefu’s seal came undone…
“Clare, what you daydreaming about? Class has ended,” Jess shook Clare.
“Nothing,” Clare replied.
“If you saw so,” Jess said. “Clare, do you think Lefu will agree to help me? You two spent most of the break together. He must have a good personality if you allowed him near you for a week.”
“Why did you suddenly bring up him?” Clare asked. “You haven’t ever met him before so why would he help? I don’t think I ever mention his name to you either.”
“How can’t I know who he is,” a demonic voice escaped from Jess. “He survived the transaction of the vampire god. He must be killed before his powers grow.”
Clare quickly punched her friend. “Who are you?”
“I’m the first of many,” the voice replied. “He has been place at the top of the wanted board of the Nirvana. Now both bounty hunters and assassins are out tracking him down.”
“Where my friend?” Clare asked coldly.
“Her, she perfectly fine,” the voice said. “I sealed her soul into a jar and borrowed her body for a while. If you destroy this body she will forever be trapped in the jar with no body to return to.” The voice laughed as it bragged.
“Is that all?” a tired voice sounded behind them. Lefu appeared with a bored expression. “My master recently taught me how to deal with something like this.” Lefu reached out his hand and a blue orb slowly gathered in his palm.
Watching the blue orb, Clare saw it slowly transforming into a blade. Is that a blade formed out of Aether? Father mentioned that certain individuals with insane amount of Aether can form weapons or armor. What is he planning to do with that? It can be he plans to cut down Jess! Rushing forward, Clare planned to tackle Lefu could attack.
Lefu swung the half completed blade leaving a blue line behind. The blue line gently disappeared along with the blade. Feeling rage that Lefu cut down her friend, Clare gather most of her Aether an slammed into Lefu. “How could you do that to my friend? Even if I love you, that no excuse for cutting my friend down.”
Spitting out his blood, Lefu simple walked away. Before the demon began to howl in pain. “How can a human cut only a soul?” a black smoke yelled as it vanished.
Clare caught Jess’s body and noticed there wasn’t any blood or a cut. I think I should apologize to Lefu, but will he accept? Maybe he be like a protagonist and forgive me? Clare cheerfully thought as she cried.
“Where am I? I remembered the bell rang but after that nothing,” Jess said holding her head. “Why are you crying? Did something happen?”
“Nothing happened,” Clare said wiping her tears. “I just was extremely worried about you.”

Stumbling out the door, Lefu spat out another mouthful of blood. What going on? I should already healed from this, Lefu wondered as he fell. Pulling out his phone he attempted to call his mother for help, but his vision began to blur. Why does this always happen to me?
Few seconds passed Lefu passed out a pair of footsteps approached him. An old hand reached down and pick him up. “Lefu boy, you got a long ways to go if you can barely handle, a spectral,” a man voice said dragging Lefu off.
