Chasing behind Lefu, Kevin Shouted, “Don’t run from me, Lefu!”
“Rejected!” Lefu replied speeding away. “You’re just going to smash me into the ground!”
In the backyard of Zurie’s Mansion, Kevin was chasing Lefu. He wore black gloves with metal plates over the knuckles. “Lefu, we need to train your regeneration,” Kevin shouted.
Lefu shouted in reply, “I refuse to be become one with the ground! I can handle whips, but this is crossing the line.”

Sitting on the back patio, Clare watched as Lefu and Kevin ran. Lefu, what are you to me. Clare thought of the mission. She also thought of the feelings that been bugging her. She blankly stared ahead, torn between asking Camilla for help or working through it herself.
Camilla, who sat beside her, lightly sipped her tea. Worried that Clare would be trapped inside her thought’s, she decided to help.
“Is something troubling you?” Camilla said, interrupting Clare’s thoughts.
Should I ask mother opinion? Clare thought hesitantly.
Just ask already, your thoughts are distracting, Lefu’s voice rang inside her head.
A light blush formed on Clare cheeks. As the voice of Lefu rang inside her mind, the hesitation disappeared. Gathering her courage, Clare slowly nodded her head.
“How did you know father was the one?” Clare asked.
Shock filled Camilla eye’s, but it was quickly replaced with joy. The joy came from knowing her daughter took an interest in a someone. After living a few hundred of years and using her vast knowledge, she could guess who Clare was referring to.
“I didn’t until he stole me from a noble’s altar. He battled through fifty guards with a rusty sword and a wood-chopping axe,” Camilla thought back smiling.
That doesn’t happen these days, and doesn’t help me, Clare thought. She was sure if that happened, the police would arrive and arrest Lefu. Letting out soft sigh, Clare grew bored of Camilla story.
“Clare, there no way to know until you get to know them,” Camilla said.
Slightly nodding her head, Clare wondered what would be the best way. She could invite him hang out. Maybe i’ll invite him to watch a movie or walk around the mall.
Why don’t you try talking to me first, Lefu’s voice interrupted her thoughts.
Clare slammed her forehead into the table, splitting it into two equal pieces. She quickly grabbiedng her glass that fell over., Lefu’s screams filled the backyard.
“Maybe i’ll try talking to him, since it might be the best way,” Clare replied to Camilla.
“Seems he was caught,” Camilla cheerfully smiled.
Clare, turning her head in Lefu’s direction, saw her father repeatedly punching him. Pain ate away at her a she watched. Even with the knowledge that he would quickly heal, the thought of him being hurt was unbearable.
There has to be a better way, Lefu scream’s echoed in her mind.
“Even if this method is messy, it’s still one of the fastest methods,” Camilla yelled in Lefu’s direction. ”If we weren’t short on time, we could use less painful methods.”
Hang on Lefu, it’ll be over soon, Clare said encouragingly through the mind link You must be able to regenerate fully in under one minute..Then, the real training can begin.
Why does it have to be under a minute? Lefu sent to Clare. This hurts. His mental strength wavered after being punched ten feet into the ground.
It’s the bare minimum required to learn my family’s fighting style, Clare explained through the mind link.
Does it at least include the secrets technique? Lefu asked.
No, the only way for you to receive the Blood Control technique is to marry in, Clare clarified. The thought of her title as the Immortal Housewife caused her to blush.
I thought all vampire’s could control blood? Lefu asked in confusion.
This technique is special, Clare continue to explain. Usually a vampire can control his or her own blood, but this one allows you to reverse the flow inside another’s body ten meters away. Of course that’s when one has trained the ability sufficiently.

Inside the interrogation room, Ted was sweating. He was facing a man that looked to being his forties. If Lefu was there, he would recognize him as Detective Alan. He was the detective who interviewed Lefu back when the heir of the Thousand Wood Logging Company died. Thirty photos showing thirty different corpses had been placed on the table between them. The youngest barely looked older than six while the oldest was fifty-five.
“How many times is this, Ted?” Alan asked.
“I don’t know,” Ted calmly answered. “You drag me in here if the victim has the tiniest connection to me.”
“Well this time, you’re being charged with multiple charges of attempted murder, thirty murders, and vandalism.” Alan replied, “The list goes on, but you’re not getting away this time,”
“Thirty? Are you insane?” Ted shouted. “I haven’t murdered a single person, much less thirty,”
Silently opening his file, Alan casually began listing off the names of the thirty victims. The more he read, the paler Ted became. By the time Alan finished, Ted was pale as a ghost. There were enough names to put him on death row.
“What’s the point of listing those off,” Ted denied. “I’m innocent. Where is the evidence?” He was panicking.
“There is plenty of evidence and there is no way money can make it disappear,” Alan said with a smug smile.
Gripping his hair, Ted wracked his brain as his mind was in chaos. How did they find evidence? I made sure to cover my tracks. This must be a trick.
“I would like to call my lawyer.” Ted calmly said.
Alan left the room after collecting the photos.

“You can’t expect to win if all you do is defend,” Kevin yelled, pushing Lefu backwards.
What does he expect? Lefu thought, I’m barely dodging his attacks.
Don’t worry, he’s only using ten percent of his power, Clare said encouragingly.
Lefu wondered if he could survive his full power Would his power crush mountains or destroy cities with a sneeze. A deep seed of fear took root as Lefu didn’t know what to expect in the future.
Stepping to the side, Lefu dodged Kevin’s strike and grabbed his arm. He then spun and attempted to flip Kevin over his shoulder. Unexpectedly, Kevin didn't budge. Instead, he lifted Lefu with brute strength.
Kevin explained, “Attempting to fight as a human against supernatural beings will not end well. Most creatures can counter this. I can counter with brute strength, but if I release my Aether, I could also increase the gravity.”
What is Aether? Lefu wondered.
It comes from Europe and is similar to Ki, Chi, or Mana, Clare answered through the mind link. These all mean Life Force.
Then why is he beating me up instead of training me to control that? Lefu asked.
He’s trying to awaken it inside you. Clare calmly answered, without this initial step, the training can’t start,
But most of my powers have been sealed by the omni system, Lefu shouted mentally in desperation.
It sealed most of it, but not everything, Clare replied, it’s just going to be harder than normal to awaken.
Bang!
Lefu suddenly entered the ground, before being yanked out of a two-foot hole. A heavy fist landed on his stomach, nearly shattering his organs. Coughing out blood, Lefu collapsed to the ground. After nearly a minute, Lefu’s injuries had fully healed.
Before he had chance to stand, Kevin’s foot smashed down on his spine. It shattered, causing Lefu to let out an agonized howl. Unable to withstand the pain, Lefu lost conscious as black mist covered his body.
“Lefu, do you feel that power?” Kevin asked with sense of pride.
“Father I think he lost consciousness and you went too far,” Clare reprimand him.
“If I don’t go that far, he would never feel Aether,” Kevin said in defense.
“Did it ever occurred to you that his powers are sealed?” Clare said, lifting Lefu onto her shoulder.
Kevin attempted to say something but didn’t make a sound. Realizing that he was not going to say anything, Clare turned and carried Lefu away. She carried Lefu to his room. Her heart felt better now that he was no longer being beaten.
“System pull up the mission,”
[Mission: Figure out your feelings,
Time limit: 1 week,
Completion: 69%
Reward: ???,
Failure: Lefu’s opinion of you drops.]
When did I complete some of the mission? Clare pondered. How did I do it? I’m getting closer.
Arriving at his room, still deep in thought, Clare quickly threw Lefu onto the bed. Grabbing a plain black shirt and pants from the closet. Clare prepared to change his bloody clothes. What am I doing? She thought before running away.

Inside Lefu’s Mind Realm, Master Dugu appeared.
“You been trained in martial arts your whole life, yet you fought like an idiot.” Master Dugu’s harsh comment filled the space.
Unable to talk back, Lefu lowered his head in shame. He had been beaten and had his organs and spine had shattered. He even had a chance to counter, yet he had also managed to fail at that.
“Well, he did save us time on training your regeneration.” Master Dugu said, “Now lets get started.”
The weights used for juggling appeared once again. Lifting up the lightest one, Lefu prepared to start when the weights exploded. Confused, Lefu glared at Master Dugu. “If you grasp with too much strength, they will explode,” the man commented ignoring Lefu’s glare.
Take a deep breath, Lefu thought, calming himself. Grabbing the weight, Lefu only heard it pop before it reappeared,
Two hours later, Lefu was juggling four weights without popping them. Nodding towards his master, Lefu received the fifth weight.
Boom!
Five weights blew up as Lefu grabbed the new one too hard. Unable to glare at his master anymore, Lefu just took a deep breath.
“What was the weight you tossed?” Lefu calmly asked.
“I believed it was 75,000,” Master Dugu innocently replied.
Picking up the heaviest weight at 100,000 pounds, Lefu launched it towards Master Dugu. Watching his master easily dodge, Lefu grumbled. You’re not supposed to dodge it.
“Can we move onto ways to control the Aether?” Lefu asked.
“Huh, Aether control? Sure, we can,” Master Dugu easily agreed.
“How do we begin?” Lefu asked.
Thinking for few second, Master Dugu answered. “Meditation.”
“Meditation?” Lefu shouted. ”Are you joking?”
“Meditation is one of the best ways,” Master Dugu explained. “It has been perfected throughout thousands of years.”
“Then why aren’t there hundreds of superhumans running around?” Lefu asked.
“Humans and supernatural beings have different starting points,” Master Dugu explained. “Humans have to go through harsh training for years, while supernaturals are born with it. Of course, different varieties of supernaturals have different starting points”
Lefu accepted the explanation and continued training.
