Inside the Rogue city park,a gentle breeze came as Matt stared at Clare in confusion. He was surprised by her shock when she heard him. Matt figured that Clare already knew that she was a seer. Seers are select few that will appear one in ten billion and even rarer in supernatural population. When a seer appears it usually short lived as the price for seeing glimpse of the future is their lifespan.
“I’m a seer?” Clare pointed to herself.
“I thought you already knew. Surely Kevin or Camilla told you, or did you just awaken?” Matt replied.
“This never happened before that I can remember,” Clare asked in a panic. “If I’m a seer does that mean I’m going to die?”
Matt busted out laughing from the question. “A vampire dying from a lifespan. That would be funny, but no you’re not going to die.” After few more laughs Matt calmed down and explained few things. “Since you should know Vampires don’t have a lifespan, why would you worry about that? The only thing that might get affect by using the power is few hours of weakness.”
“Oh,” Clare acted embarrassed. “You talked about natural awakening what is that?”
Taking few seconds to reply Matt slowly explained. “Hmm, basically it when an individual is affected by their surroundings. For example: If a man who loves birds and has a certain gene that resonates, he might learn to fly. Since your a seer, a seer you must have caught a glimpse of the future. Even if you catch a glimpse it’s incredibly rare to become one.”
Clare sat there dazed at the news as she didn’t know if it good or bad. As Clare grew up she learned about many species and rules that the Nivana organization sat up, but she still has lots to learn. I became a Seer, but how does that help me in finding Lefu?
“The weakness should be kicking in right about now,” Matt suddenly said.
Nearly all of Clare energy vanished as if she stayed up for two days straight. Clare’s head dropped as she began laying down. “How long should this last?” she asked as the world spun around her.
“Since it the first time it happened and the delay. It should last about six hours at minimum,” Matt quickly calculated. “Once you’re adjusted to using the power the weakness should last about an hour than.”
When Matt finished his short explanation, he noticed that Clare has fallen asleep. Matt quickly called Bill to get the car ready. He quickly lift Clare up and carried her like a sack of potatoes out of the park quickly. Matt waved goodbye to them before a hand landed on his shoulder. The hand belonged to a young man in blue uniform and pair of silver cuff,
“Do you mind coming with me?” the officer asked in non questionable tone. Matt took a look at the uniform and found out his name: Bryan.
“Would you believe me that she going to be my daughter in law in the next few months?” Matt replied. Not hearing a reply his wrists gained a silver bracelet. Matt quickly figured out that this office is one that doesn’t listen to others.
After Bryan cuffed him, he began walk slowly while showing off he caught someone. Many pedestrians began snapping pictures and spreading the news. By the time he reached the officer car, he began a serial kidnapper with a few murders.
“I hope you can afford this mistake about ruining my reputation and harm you caused me,” Matt said from the backseat.
“Why should I listening to a man who kidnaps girls half his age? Besides we received a call about someone reporting you kidnapping,” Bryan gloated at his victory.
Matt simply looked out the window as it was impossible to talked to these type of officer. They get so full of themselves that they believe the law revolves around them. When they arrived at the station, Matt received countless cold stares from the female staff.
“It seems the blockhead called ahead,” Matt mumbled to himself. He was forced into the interrogation room and left alone for the next hour.
Outside the room, the Bryan happily received praises from the unit. Many of the female staff came up and even hugged him as they despise the type of man he caught.
“Congratulation, Officer Bryan. Now let go in and get his confession,” an older man appeared quieting down everyone.

“Chief Ronald, you want to join me?” Bryan said in excitement. He has heard that the chief is famous for making even the biggest criminals cry in minutes. So how could he pass up the chance to see a legend in action.
“Is that a problem?” Chief Ronald replied.
“No, no it not at all,” Bryan panicky said. “I would love to have you join me.”
Bryan opened the door to the cool interrogation room and allowed his superior to enter first. He glanced at the man he brought in. I can’t wait to see this big man crying now that the chief here, Bryan evil laughed to himself.
He watched as the muscular man lift his head and smiled toward the Chief. “Ronald, I forgot you were an officer here,” the man laughed. “It has been about a year or two since we last scene each other.”
“Matt why are you here? I was told one of the officers caught a serial kidnapper and murderer,” Chief Ronald groaned as he felt a headache coming. “Please tell me it wasn’t you.”
“Is that what the blockhead said?” Matt looked towards Bryan. “I tried to explain to him it was my future daughter in law that i was carrying to send home. But instead of listening he began drawing as much attention he could get. By the time I arrived here, I probably reported to the media by the blockhead.”
“Blockhead, how dare you insult an officer of the law,” Bryan shouted in anger. “Your lucky I won’t add that to your list of charges.”
“Officer Bryan I would like to see you in my office,” Chief Ronald said in calm and chilly tone. “So little Lefu getting married so soon? I remember when my son used to run around with him after karate class.”
“Yeah, it seems he couldn’t escape the family traditions, but how is little Timmy doing?” Matt laughed as he asked. “He still keeping up in his training right?”
“That brat is out playing with his current girlfriend everyday,” Chief Ronald sighed. “I’m just worried he come home one day soon and say “Your going to be a grandfather.” I’m not ready for that as he only one year older than Lefu.”
Matt laughed as he listened to his friend worry. “Well stop by with them and we can have an small get together since it been a while. We used to have small outing when the boys were younger. Oh yeah, how is your wife doing? Violet mentioned that she not feeling well lately.”
“Well she doing well, it seems that she caught a cold,” Ronald said. “I will think of stopping by but no promises. Recently we have our hands full as a big case against the heir of Smash Entertainment is happening.”
“Well it always sad hearing the young making big mistakes,” Matt said. “Am I free to go now as I need to go and check up on my son’s wife.”
“Yeah, you’re free to go,” Ronald said. “I will try my best to clean up the blockhead mess.”
Shaking the Matt’s hand, Chief Ronald escorted him out. After watching Matt ride away in the taxi, his smile vanished as he went into his office. He faced the young officer who held a terrified expression. Chief Ronald silently sat in his chair while staring at the officer wondering how to punish him.
“I will give you two options for punishment. Either you go on live tv to apologize and work as a desk clerk for next few years. The other option is to quit the force and look for other work.” Ronald said slowly. He didn’t even give an option to cover it up as this officer decided to parade Matt around.
“But, but why should I apologise when I even watched him take the girl!” Bryan shouted by accident.
Knock!
“Chief you got a letter her,” a office handed over a decorative envelope. When he saw it was from Violet and Matt he opened it to see an picture. It showed a picture of Lefu and Clare. Holding up the girl’s picture he asked, “Is this the girl you’re talking about?”
“Yeah,” Bryan replied.
“Just hope that the Zurie’s don’t blow up this matter. Now hand over your gun and badge, you’re on suspension until further notice.” Chief Ronald dismissed the officer.
Bryan slowly sat down his gear as he held back tears. Ronald guessed the Bryan was counting on this arrest to blow up his popularity and get a bonus. Through his years on the force he seen many young officer that had similar ideas, but most either quit or died.
Ronald thought of his best friend who joined alongside him. The two worked great together from arresting small time drug dealers to small gang leaders. After few years his friend wanted to become famous for busting a big time drug lord. It was a week later they found him decapitated and hung in front of the station.

Arriving in front of the Zurie’s mansion, Matt paid the taxi driver and entered the gate. One of the maids spotted him and lead him towards the dining hall. Matt stepped into the dinning hall and saw Camilla and Violet happily chatting.
“Matt, you’re here,” Kevin said from behind. “I was about to make a call to bail you out. It was shocking that you got arrested straight after sending Clare back.”
“Well thanks, but an old friend was there and sat the record straight,” Matt said. “So, did you have any luck in finding Lefu?”
“Sadly we haven’t found a trace of him,” Kevin replied. “We manage to find a large human trafficking organization, but no clues to Lefu.”
“Maybe Clare’s Seer powers will help,” Matt said. “She seemed to recently awaken them.”
“So, Clare became a seer,” Kevin said. “It seems we need to help her train that. We can’t have her randomly predicting the future in battle can we.” Kevin’s phone began to rang after saying that.
“Sir, traces of Lefu has been found, but your not going to believe where,” a male voice came from the otherside.
“Where,”
“Antarctica.”
