We, all of us, stood atop the battlements of a castle town which our Lord had warred against. It was another Wolf and Bear Beastman city, by the by, and the third one destroyed. The entirety of it all even put up a decent fight before falling to ash and blood, but only during the first strike from our persons. Afterwards, their defenses fell as though they were, but sticks in a gale. For they were not equipped to deal with our Lord and His fallen Divinity.
Now, the Human had tried to implement many tactics to take over a town, as he believed the rewards would be greater this way, but He did not care for his antics, and summoned upon each of them, Death. Therefore, the other complained mightily about not retaining enough "E-X-P" to "Level Up", as he called it. Of which led to him sulking and pouting, but we never truly cared for him.
In any case, upon the outskirts of this castle town was a plains so riddled with holes and death, it was difficult to recognise it as such until one ventured nearly a kilometre away from where we stood. However, the reason why we stood where we stood was due to the fact that there was an army of thousands marching towards our persons. For our Lord believed it to be the final battle before we journeyed from this world so that it would be restored to its former glory. Therefore, He did deign to pause within this area until a force was grown to face us.
This was due to the fact that He believed our time and energy would be better used if an army had come together to face us, as opposed to hunting down the many towns, villages, and cities which decorated the world of Asha'ruun. Therefore, we allowed a few of the townspeople to live and send a message to whomever desired our end to come for us at this town. For we would not be leaving until all others have deigned to grace us with their presences.
Of course, once word was spread of our location, a few more factions decided to ally with our Lord, but were slain quickly, or given over to Rojaahn who desired their bodies for his research. Whatever happened to them, one truth remained prominent: They all died in pain and horror.
Yes. For the tortures inflicted upon their bodies came from our Lord's desire to listen to them. As well as to frighten any and all who tried to assassinate any of our persons. Which also included the Human. Though, that one just invited each and every last one of them to his "Goblin Casino" when they were caught. Telling each, as their deaths drew near, that such a place held many games with cards, dice, and the like. He continued speaking to their persons whilst they ceased to draw breath, thus causing many to wonder if he lost his sanity somewhere.
Unfortunately, the Mage did not, and would continue to be a bother up to the point of watching the armies of Asha'ruun gather before us. "Like lambs to a slaughter," he grumbled softly with a frown as a score of a thousand soldiers in various arms and armaments scattered throughout. Turning to our Lord, who had retained his Devil King form since the beginning, he did whine aloud, "Are you going to let me promote my casino this time, or are you just going to slaughter them all before I have a chance?"
Whereupon our Lord did sigh whilst have His eyes swiveled towards the other as he spoke with some disdain, "Do what you will, Melephas, but do so quickly. It is believed much of the world has gathered to watch what happens to this world once it all ends."
"Oh yeah? And how will it all end?"
To which He then chuckled without humour or mirth as he turned to face the Human with eight, glowing crimson eyes, "With their deaths, of course."
"Whatever," growled Melephas as he dashed away whilst calling for the gates to open. Whereupon we did watch as several dozen Goblins pulled a cart full of what was known as "Fireworks" around one hundred metres away from the wall. Here, the group quickly went to work, placing many hollowed cylinders upon the ashened earth covered in holes both great and small. Within each was a single Firework, and once all were full, they were each lit and caused the group to dash back inside the town whilst the gate closed shut behind them.

What came next, however, caused the rest of us to cup our hands to our faces whilst watching the "show".
For once the first of many launched themselves into the air, they exploded in a shower of multicoloured sparks which dazzled and frightened many before us. However, this only revealed part of what was being shown, as the rest was something of an advertisement stating each who view this to head to the Goblin city and enjoy its Casino. This was followed up by multiple images of cards, dice, and mugs of ale. There were others, of course, but even the I of last turn could not understand what it was that they were, therefore, I did not bother with them.
This was followed up by a message of showering sparks which read, "Come to the Goblin City Casino! Where you can bet your mother-in-law and lose your pants at the same time!"
We then turned to our Lord and begged His person to allow us to slaughter the annoying Human after such imagery ended. We even sat upon our knees, prostrating before Him, but He would not allow such an event to occur. Instead, He called us to stand whilst He directed our gazes towards the army below.
"Look at them," He commanded, and our eyes did behold an odd sight. For just as the words faded away, was it replaced by a map of colours which showed where we currently stood, and where the city itself was located. Whereas those before us milled about with some uncertainty, whilst a few voices reached our ears with the desire to know what has happened.
The Humans, on the other hand, were the most indecisive. For many amongst their number brought out their maps, writing upon their parchments what we guessed was the location of the city Melephas's message gave way. Upon the disappearance of the colourful map, a handful of the Humans called out to the Beastfolk. Of which responded with a few dozen cries, and the group disbanded themselves away from the army.
We did believe they were to travel towards the Goblin City, yes, and did nothing to stop them. The reason being was of our Lord declaring that there was an Ogre who made the city its home, and would become quite sore at being disturbed by such a small force of five hundred. Therefore, we did nothing to impede their desire to journey forwards.
The rest of the army, however, appeared to have a mixture shock and disbelief running through their ranks. It was as though something outrageous as this was unbelievable, and more than one held the desire to bring the group back. Yes. More than one began to run towards them, but were soon called back to remind them of who it was that stood before them and what was at stake.
It was at this time that our Human had reappeared with a wide grin upon his features. Of which our Lord did spy such a thing and responded with, "You have around five hundred individuals heading towards the Goblin City."
"Woot!" he exclaimed in response, punching the air as he let out a joyful shout of noise. Whereas the rest of us shook our head whilst turning back towards a slowly advancing army.
"Brutus," He called to my person, "You may begin once again."
"Yes," I saluted with my right primary fist slamming against the left side of my ribcage, then turned towards that which was our enemy with all four of my clawed hands stretched out. Whereupon I did chant a low and harsh chant whilst calling upon my energies, as well as the energies of the Magic Stones which were upon my person. This was to summon up my ghostly skeletal servants from below, as well as the Wendigo I had grown fond of. Of whom stood at my side where it did howl a howl of great hunger, and I reached out and tossed a Magic Stone into its gaping maw.
This led to it snapping down upon the object, creating a resounding crunch as the stone was broken upon its many jagged teeth. Whereas the energies within were absorbed quickly, resulting in its eyes to gaze upon my person in a curious fashion as though it were a pet seeking more treats. Yes. I did retrieve more for it, but the amount was only two. For just as these were drained and consumed, were my minions fully summoned and sent marching forwards.
Thus leading to my command of, "Go, my Wendigo," my right primary pointed towards the army of the living, "Go and feast upon the living." Whereupon it did turn and left my side, howling its forever hungered howl which desired to be full, but was forever cursed to never be allowed such a feeling.
