"What did you do that for?" growled the Templar, who leapt to his feet the moment the shackles fell away from his person. Of which was the exact moment the final Elf was slain.
As the last of Brutus's minions dissipated, I turned towards the one who called himself my "Father" with a sneer upon my illusory lips, "They deigned to take my control over my life for what? A project that would later be used to slay those that are already dead?"
"Speak. English," he commanded as the proverbial smoke seeped out of his ears.
"English?" my voice contained nothing more than mirth and contempt for those before my eyes, "Now that is something I've not heard in a long time. No. This is not 'English' we are speaking, Dashall, but Common. As to what I have said? Well, allow my words to clarify fully: They tried to capture us for whatever experimentations necessary to quell their desires to understand Human anatomy."
"And this warranted their deaths?" cried out the Cleric, who stood up slowly with the help of Melephas.
"Yes, actually," was my reply as my Lich alerted my person to the sound of heavy boots coming up the platform. For quite a few bodies had fallen off during the slaughter of such beings, which was quite visible to those around. Not only this, but the lights given off by our magicks was nothing more than a beacon for trouble.
"You... What happened to you?" However, before she was able to continue, a multitude of angry voices rose up around our persons, calling attention to the fact that we were all within the centre of death.
"Another time, perhaps," my voice came out as a whisper, as I reached inside my robes to pull out a silvered necklace with a sparkling feather tied into the strands. This was given over to Brutus, who placed it around his neck with a nod of thanks to my person.
"Flight," he commanded, and skyrocketed into the air whilst leaving behind a small sonic boom as he disappeared into the heavens above.
Perhaps it was an afterthought, or perhaps my past self felt something for the pathetic Humans. For three other necklaces were tossed towards them, just as I bent over with palms pressing up against my chest. The Cleric, believing I was in pain, rushed to my side to heal my being in some way. However, just as she reached my person, her body was flung backwards and into the Templar. Of which the pair crumpled to the ground in a heap, as my own body transformed itself into a Devil.
Wings of bone erupted from my back, my body cloaked in shadows, whilst a crown of horns shot out of the top of my head. Whereas my hair, which was once the colour of fallen snow, became living fire and roared a dragon's roar from the moment of my transformation. Within moments after the roar subsided, did it settle upon my endarkened shoulders as normal hair would, but also crackled every now and again.
My features, however, were non-existent, save for a pair of luminous orbs the colour of Madness. Of which was full of hatred and contempt for all things living, or not under my own protections.
As to the rest of my body? A tail of spikes had formed itself from my backside, and curled around towards the base of my clawed feet. Of which contained only three claws, two in the front, one in the back. The same could be said of my clawed hands, for they were also only three upon each one. However, there was also two pairs of these clawed hands, as well as arms to be paired with them. Not only this, but were attached to the side and central portion of my ribs.
Upon the completion of my transformation, I stood aloft without expression, and simply flapped my wings. Of which took my body into the air, where I tore my gaze away whilst catch the barest of whispers from the Humans, "A-a Demon King!" This came from the Templar, as he stared agape upon my retreating figure.
Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.
"H-how?" asked the Cleric, "How is he something like that?"
"That's so cool," chimed in the Mage, "I want to know how he did that." To which he adorned himself with the necklace, and spoke the command, "Flight," skyrocketing into the air just as my Lich had done so only moments before.
"Wait for us," shouted Aclara, who wrapped such a thing around her own and Dashall's around his. Afterwards they did speak the commands for each, launching themselves into the air. Thus, leaving behind stunned and frightened guards from the three civilisations of the world. Of whom did wonder what exactly was summoned, and what this all meant.

High in the heavens did we fly, each behind my person save for Brutus. For he was my most trusted confidant, but due to my inability to speak, he used a mental ability which allowed us to speak with one another. However, he had remained silent, watching my person as his own gradually removed the illusion from his body.
For I had enjoyed the feeling of flight once upon a time. It was a relaxing enjoyment, so much so that I performed such acrobatics in the air which would make any sane giddy with laughter. This was so, as it was a childish antic that I cared little for the viewings of those under my person, nor of their own opinions upon the matter.
Now? Now with the Humans present, I felt little to no enjoyment as my body continued to soar ever onward. For we had a job to perform, one that involved finding another base for my people. Yes. There was also eradicating the Undead, but that was not upon my to-do list at this point in time. No. Instead I would seek of the nearest pocket, where I would find their source before tracking them down further.
'My Lord God?' came the mental voice of my Lich, 'Why do you allow such miserable creatures to follow you?'
To which I replied with my own, 'I do not know, Brutus. I feel nothing for them, and yet they continue to draw themselves close to my person. Perhaps there is a kinship still between us, or perhaps something continues to pull us together'.
Laughter echoed throughout my servant's skull, causing him to cock his head towards his right shoulder whilst staring at my person, 'Well, regardless of what it is, leave them be.'
'My Lord God?'
'They have yet to lash out at my person, or yours, so you need not worry about them for the time being. However, after what I plan to do, if they choose to leave, then allow them to do so. If they continue to stay?' More laughter ensued, which was joined in by the other as I shared my thought of, 'Then they are free game to any and all who wish to corrupt those who walk in the light.'
The direction we were flying towards, by the by, was unknown to my uncaring mind. All that was needed to be understood was that night had fallen, and that it was in the direction of the dark clouds. Of which were steadily growing larger the longer we travelled. Yes. We had found the large body of water seen when we were traveling inside the cascading light moments before.
This would, hopefully, be the first stop in finding out the source of the affliction that had wiped out the Human population upon the world. However, instead of simply telling those who desired to know, or simply removing the problem, I had decided to instead take it for my own. For having such an ability such as that would be quite entertaining within my clawed hands, and even Brutus would agree about such a thing.
As the ability to create the Undead was something of a mystery to one such as the I of back then. Even with all of the knowledge at one's fingertips, as well as having such a willing subject, such as Brutus, to help test out several theories, I still desired to understand it.
Ah, but you are not here to listen to my desires to understand everything, but of my past self's exploits.
Now, after traveling for a time, the dawn had broken through to our right. However, due to the varying worlds having their own Natural Law, we did not know whether or not that the direction the day star was climbing was West, North, South, or even East. Instead, we simply jotted down its location within our minds. Of which allowed us to view a large patch of sanded land with tufts of grass and vegetation upon its shores.
This was where we settled down, much to the gratitude of the Humans, who flopped upon the shoreline. There, they hugged such a thing as though they had not seen it for so long. Though, the Cleric did perform an odd ritual. One that involved her pressing her lips to the ground and telling it that she missed it. Which was odd in my eyes, and even in Brutus's, for we doubted she had even been to this world before.
