[Story Quest: Defend the Village has been completed]
[Calculating Rewards...]
[They have released the Contribution Rankings]
There were a few categories in the contribution rankings.
There was the individual ranking which gave percentages to players. Most players had less than 1% on the individual rankings since there were 1000's of players.
Then there were the party rankings which showed parties and what percent of the contributions they had. The party rankings added up the individual percentages of each player. It would show decent percentages.
Emile checked his standing on the individual rankings.
He was easily in first. He had 26% of all the contributions. 20% came directly from the boss since it would take a lot of effort to kill the boss using average players.
The boss was worth a lot of the contributions. The 6% came from killing all the level 9 Compsognathus since they are the strongest normal monsters of the waves.
[Rewards have been given out]
[You have gained 2 levels]
[You have gained a Lucky Box]
[You have gained the Glory Badge]
[You have reached first of Global Level Leaderboard]
[You have gained 2500 fame]
This put him at the top of the global leaderboards. He knew this would be temporary since he didn't play Nirvana throughout the night. When people complete the story quest, they will gain levels.
He gained one level for having the highest contribution on the individual rankings.
He gained the second level for being part of the party with the most contribution. His contribution alone allowed them to be first place. The others had decent contributions.
The highest contribution from his party was 1.2% and the lowest was 0.42% of the contributions.
Out of thousands of players getting over 0.1% was superb. The 1.2% came from killing lots of killer bees and dinosaurs. It turned out to be Flower Queen.
She also showcased a new spell that the others haven't seen before. It was a ball of mud. It gave decent debuffs to the enemies.

Players throughout the world felt shocked once again when they saw the same player had grown to level 7. The second place reached level 6 which was still a level lower than him. He had more than a level's lead over every single player in the world.
Emile knew of the effects of a lucky box. Everything he had started off from gaining that rare item. He wouldn't have received the quests to find and clear the caves if he didn't have the lucky box.
He identified the lucky box.
Lucky Box
You think you have good luck? Let's find out.
Rank: Uncommon
Use it to drop items between Common and Red Silver.
The very least he could get was common and the highest was Red Silver.
Having 10 luck always helped him get lucky. He was hoping to get another Red Silver item.
He opened the box and a small wheel popped up in front of him.
There were no more empty slots on the wheels. They were all filled with an item.
At the very worst he would gain some common materials like chicken feathers or boarhide.
He could also gain a Red Silver item.
The wheel didn't stop on the Red Silver item. It stopped at an item that didn't have a rank.
It was a small medallion with a faded letter M on it. It was rusty and seemed useless. He didn't think he got a useful item. He decided to check its stats out.
??? Medallion
An old medal with the letter M engraved on it
Rank: ???
No effects
It was like he thought; completely useless. It had no effects. The only interesting about it was that it had no name and it had no rank. He hadn't seen an have no rank.
He dumped the medallion into his inventory.
The last item was the Glory Medal.
Glory Medal
A medal is given to a player who had earned more than 20% contribution on a contribution ranking that has more than 1000 players.
Rank: Red Silver
All effects are passive in inventory
Fame +1000
Show this medal to people to gain benefits and support
Cannot be dropped
Cannot be traded
The Glory Medal appeared in the item leaderboards. After he picked it up and put it into his inventory.
Emile had passed 10000 fame. He knew having high amounts of fame would do good things for him.
Fame was a hard stat to grind for. Discovering new locations gave 100 fame. Clearing a new location gave 250 fame. Every time a player find a new location the most fame they can earn from that location is 350. Unless there are special properties to the new location, the player will not receive any extra fame.
Leveling up to level 8 required 25000 experience. All of his party members were level 6. They all received one level from getting first on the party contributions. They took up 5 of the places on the Global Level Leaderboards.
People didn't know how they leveled up so quickly.
This was the first time someone had completed a story quest so people didn't know the rewards of the quest. Other's still dealt with the quest.
Emile regrouped with his party.
They discussed what they received.
Flower Queen got an uncommon lucky box.
She received a rare dagger. She could equip it at her level since the Lucky Box equipment were all at the user's level. If not then players would have useless items such as a level 90 common helmet.
What was the use of a level 90 common helmet when the highest leveled player was level 7?
Emile didn't know what class Flower Queen was aiming for. He thought she wanted to be a warrior since she used the sword.
"I'm trying to be an assassin, I got your Cloak of Shadows which you left behind at the Chief's home,"
Flower Queen said.
"Can I have it, it increases stealth capabilities," She asked.
"Yeah, sure," Emile said since he had no use for stealth.
Her face brightened up and she equipped it.
"Our quest is done, do you guys want to go see the Village Chief to see if he has more items for us," Handsomest Crab said.
"Don't we have to explore the wizards tower, their might spells in the tower. There could also be his notes about magic. We could get rich by selling the research material," Handsomest Crab said as he thought about all the money they could receive.
'Let's head towards The Village Chief's home," Flower Queen said with a gentle smile.
The villagers were celebrating. They also thanked the players. It was a harmonious scene.
"Thank you for protecting our Village," said the Tailor.
"You can come to my shop, I'll give you all a 30% discount for any item," He continued.
Everyone was in festive mood.
Emile felt joyous as he looked around himself. He felt warm being surrounded by friends.
They entered the Chief's home.
"I don't know how to thank you, no one in our village has fighting capabilities. Our ancestors created a safe haven for us. The mobs never came into our village. This was the first time in centuries where mobs started to attack out humble abode." He said with some sorrow.
"You should go and find out what items the wizard tower had," The Village Chief said.
A quest wasn't given, meaning that there would be no serious danger in the tower.
