Today was Monday morning on planet Earth, everyone was going about their business when suddenly, strong spatial fluctuations caused the disturbance in the area as a huge portal appeared in the sky, then a massive hand protruded from it. People used their Star Watches to record but the only thing they got to record was the hand coming out from the portal and that was it. After they saw the hand, they were instantly crushed beneath its weight.
The arm turned out to not be a real arm but a tower with an arm design. The human arm tower stood tall and proud where it was, the hand had dug deep into the ground and only the wrist up could be seen. There were four entrances on the human arm tower design. The tower was blood red in colour like an arm that was bleeding nonstop.
It was as big as a seven thousand story building, very tall that everyone in the continent could see it no matter where they were. This tower spoke for itself that it wasn't normal. It had taken numerous lives after just appearing and many people were scared of this tower.
While everyone was scared, there were people who were actually excited, people who grew stronger by entering such dangerous places. These people were separated into two kinds; Hunters and Awakeners. Although it sounded like they were the same type of people, they were actually different.
Hunters were types of people who mostly raid Gates and for one to be seen as a Hunter, they have to awaken their Skill. Experienced Hunters have many Skills in their arsenal and are always prepared for anything. Some of their Skills are said to be heaven defying.
Awakeners on the other hand are people who mostly compete in the towers, completing the tower trials. To become an Awakener, the condition of awakening an Innate Ability is needed. Experienced Awakeners have many Abilities in their arsenal, some which are completely broken abilities.
When the tower appeared, an organisation called the Awakeners Association quickly rushed to the site and arrived at the place in ten to fifteen minutes.
The Awakeners Association is a group that was established with the appearance of towers a very long time ago. This organisation is filled with Awakeners and back in the day, in order to enter the towers, one needed a Hunter License that would be provided by the Awakeners Association.
A group of about twenty people arrived, closed off the area and labelled it as a restricted area. Then they started to inspect the tower that had just appeared. Equipment of unknown uses was taken out and placed on the tower. Some of this equipment looked like a big camera.
The object that was placed on the tower began to write something on its screen. Someone went there to check and after seeing whatever was written there, that person rushed to inform the leader of this operation.
“Sir! Sir! I've just recorded the results of this tower. This tower is a High Grade Legendary Rank tower!” the person reported.
“What?!”
The author's narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
“Sir! Sir! The requirements of this tower have just been recorded and it's bad! It's very bad! It's a Planetary Tower that needs many Rankers with the strongest rankers being S-rank to clear it.”
“Shit!”
The reaction of the leader was expected because the situation was more dire than he had anticipated. Towers were separately ranked into Lowly, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Unique, Epic and Legendary and further divided into grades of Low, Mid, High, Peak and Extreme.
The higher the rank and grade of the tower, the stronger the monsters inside would be and the higher the difficulty of climbing it and completely clearing it.
As for it being a Planetary Tower, it actually meant that the tower was as big as a world. As for the S-rank and stuff, rankers were c ranked from F-rankers who were the weakest, to S-rankers who were the strongest.
F-rank, E-rank, D-rank, C-rank, B-rank, A-rank and S-rank. These ranks correlated to the star realms in terms of strength.
“What's the actual number needed to climb the tower?!”
“A million F-rankers, a hundred thousand E-rankers, ten thousand D-rankers, a thousand C-rankers, a hundred B-rankers, ten A-rankers and two S-rankers.”
“What the fuck! Are you fucking serious?!”
“Yes Sir! I double and even triple checked and the numbers aren't wrong!”
Ten A-rankers were equivalent to ten Nebula Realm experts, even for big organisations, an A-rank was a very important asset that couldn't be easily utilised. And the number of Awakeners and Hunters was much smaller than the number of Star Warriors.
“Publicise the information and don't hide any information from the public. Let the guilds decide for themselves how they are going to solve this one. Pack up everything, our job here is finished.”
“Yes Sir.”
…
When the news of the tower was released to the public, everyone was shocked by the number of rankers needed to climb the tower. The tower was also given a name, Redhand Tower.
The response of guilds was much more professional and well thought out. Smaller guilds contacted each other to propose cooperation because the numbers were too big to be filled up by one guild. The smaller guilds specifically targeted the largest quota of the tower rankers, F-rankers all the way to C-rankers.
And after discussions were concluded, the small guilds set up an expedition date to climb the tower together.
A few days later, many small guilds gathered outside the Redhand Tower, famous small guilds like the Greengrass Guild, Rocks Guild, Lizard Guild and Cactus Guild were also there, even the guild leaders were there. Everyone was wearing expensive armour and carried strong weapons. It was obvious that their respective guilds had spent a lot of money in order to ensure a safe and fruitful trip.
As the first guilds to enter the Redhand Tower, many resources and treasures still hadn't been touched yet so it would be easy for them to replenish their vaults with even more money. The large crowd then entered the Redhand Tower and once inside, what met them was a huge forest that spanned for as long as the eye could see.
There was also a board nailed on the tree that wrote; ‘If you want to join the Demonic Sect, please step on that magic array formation.’ A magic formation was set up not far from where the board was and it looked like it could accommodate a hundred people at least.
Everyone thought that it was a trap and thus everyone ignored such an obvious trap, everyone entered the forest and disappeared in its foliage.
