“Donar welcomes the Demon Child to planet Tron. It's an honour to serve the Demon Child.” said an old man as soon as Nolan appeared. Days had passed since Riri's incident and Nolan had finally finished his preparations and was now ready to increase his strength and to do so, he needed energy, loads of energy.
And so he had to go to a place with a lot of energy. The head maid had introduced Nolan to Meditation Caves where a Mana Gathering Magic Array was set up. The density of Mana inside the Meditation Cave was ten times more concentrated and dense than outside.
And for Nolan, they'd chosen only the best Meditation Cave so one could only imagine how much of a meditation haven it was but Nolan didn't like it. He couldn't just sit in one place and just absorb the Mana, his Meditation Art also worked completely differently.
And after asking around, Nolan found out about galaxies infested with Star Beasts. In fact, Star Beasts owned more than 2.5 million superclusters and could be found in all galaxies that make up the universe. Even in human territories, there would be Star Beasts sharing the planet with them.
Planet Tron was one of those planets that were overpopulated with Star Beasts so these types of planets also acted as training grounds for inexperienced youngsters. Often Clans, Empires, Sects and other organisations used these kinds of planets to train their new recruits.
Planet Tron mostly consisted of the Underground Shrew. A type of Star Beast with a lot of energy but very difficult to hunt down because of their defence and earth manipulation. Nolan had also chosen this place because of the Underground Shrews as their meat was known to be rich in energy.
“Donar, let's go to my lodgings first.”
“As you command Demon Child.”
…
Nolan found himself looking at a camping tent but he had learned not to look down on things with simple appearances. As he had expected, the inside of the camping tent was much bigger than its appearance. It looked no different from a double story house, there was the kitchen, two bathrooms, four bedrooms, a living room and a dining room.
“Except for the Star Beasts, are there other threats that I should be aware of in case we encounter them?” asked Nolan as they sat comfortably in the living room.
Donar didn't answer immediately but looked at the cloaked figure kneeling in front of Nolan and Nolan had his legs on her back like she was a table. This cloaked figure was of course Riri, Nolan had given her a cloak after her transformation because her body revealed a lot.
“Don't worry Demonic Child, with me around, no trouble can never befall your esteemed self.” said Donar.
“Donar, answer the question.”
“Yes Demonic Child, other threats that you may encounter, I think would be other humans. When a rare and powerful Underground Shrew is spotted, competition can get bloody sometimes.”
“Rare and powerful?”
“Well yes, Underground Shrews are different with their ranks.” Donar then began to explain.
Star Beasts were categorised by their rarity and the rarer a Star Beast was, the more powerful it was. Star Beasts and treasures like weapons, plants and other items had the same ranking system.
Lowly, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Unique, Epic, Legendary, Mythical, Ancient and Divine.

These ranks for Star Beasts correlated to the star realms of humans, for example, a Lowly Beast was the same as a Star Warrior, a Common Beast the same as a Constellation Realm Warrior, and so on and so forth.
“Interesting. So how strong are you exactly? I was only told that you'd be my guardian while I'm on this planet.”
“I'm at the Ninth Nebula Realm but I can jump levels and fight someone at the Propostar Realm to a draw. If I go all out, I can even injure them.”
“Good. Before we start hunting, tell me everything you know about the Underground Shrew. Also, take me to an underground pathway dug by an Underground Shrew. It doesn't matter if the Underground Shrew deserted it a long time ago.”
…
Donar and Riri found themselves on the Underground catacombs of the Underground Shrew. Nolan had ordered the two to guard him while he investigated the place. This has been going on for days now. When it becomes dark outside, the trio returns to the camping site and continues tomorrow.
These few days that they'd been with Nolan, they matched him doing all sorts of weird stuff like licking the ground, looking at the same spot for hours, jumping around like a rabbit, flapping his hands like a bird, making weird and loud noises. They watched all of this happen and kept their mouths shut.
Today was the seventh day and Nolan did new weird stuff. He rolled on the ground like a person on fire and crawled on the ground like a worm.
“Damon Child, what exactly is it that you're doing? It's been days, shouldn't we start hunting already.” Donar finally couldn't take it anymore and asked Nolan for answers.
“Can't you see that I'm studying the enemy, what do you think I'm doing, playing around. There's a phrase on Earth that goes; ‘Know yourself and your enemies and you shall achieve victory in all battles.’ and that's exactly what I'm doing here, studying the enemy.” answered Nolan in irritation.
“Now, let's go do an experiment. I'm still lacking some information on the Underground Shrew.”
“Yes, Demonic Child.”
…
Donar found himself fighting an Underground Shrew with his bare hands, fortunately, it was only an Uncommon Underground Shrew, very weak when compared to Donar.
Donar hadn't wanted to fight this smallfry Underground Shrew but Nolan insisted that he do it. Riri was obviously weaker than him and when he asked why she couldn't fight this weak creature, Nolan told him that Riri was physically weak and he wanted to witness a physical fight with a shrew. He wanted to protest but a cold glance from Nolan shut him up and here we are.
Donar didn't just have to fight the weak shrew, he had to prolong the fight for as long as possible, a one shot kill attack was prohibited. Donar held himself back for as long as he could against the ferocious shrew but after hours of fighting, Donar slipped up and ended up killing the beast in a single punch.
“Demon Child… it wasn't on purpose.” he said pitifully.
“It's fine. I've already collected all the information that I need. Tomorrow we start hunting for real so be well rested because you two are gonna work very hard.” said Nolan in a mischievous smile.
…
Early in the morning the next day, the trio left the camp with the tent. Nolan led them through the rocky environment with barely any trees and plants growing there.
Nolan's journey was longer than expected. The trip took about three days and they had to set camp a few times. Along the way, Nolan would suddenly stop walking, sniff and lick the ground then change directions. This happened quite often during the trip and the duo could only watch. If the Demonic Sect knew the things Nolan did while on this planet, they'd be so embarrassed that they'd probably deny him being part of their sect.
“We're here.” said Nolan after a three day trip. He then took out a shovel from his storage ring and started digging.
“Demonic Child, how about I simply punch a hole on this spot, it will be much quicker.” said Donar but Nolan refused.
“Are you an idiot! If we did that then we'd alert the Underground Shrews and my plans would be ruined.” said Nolan as he continued to dig with the shovel.
“At least let me do the digging, it's demeaning for someone of your stature to do such labour work.”
Nolan just ignored him and continued to dig until the ground collapsed. The hole was connected to the pathways of the Underground Shrews.
“Riri, use Water Magic to flood this entire underground system.”
“Yes.” said Riri in a soft voice.
[Water Spell: The Great Flood!]
A massive ball of water was conjured by Riri using her internal energy, then she threw the water ball into the pathway. The water ball immediately spread out like a busted water pipe. The water spread in all directions and seemed limitless because it just kept pouring out from the water ball. Soon the water rose from the pathway and spilled out from the dug up hole.
“Prepare yourselves, they're coming!” shouted Nolan as he took out a hoverboard and floated in the air.
Di di di di di di!
The ground shook like a minor earthquake was about to strike.
BOOOOM!!!
