While everyone was wondering who exactly Bloodbath was, a few individuals were stumped by a completely different question, like the old man in a wheelchair and his granddaughter.
“Grandpa, what was that?” asked the granddaughter.
“I don't know… but if I were to take a guess, I think it was Killing Aura but…”
“But what?”
“It's impossible or rather I've never seen someone release Killing Aura like that. The way Killing Aura works is that once one releases it, it envelops the body as a form of deterrence, a danger signal or anything to ward off pests. Then comes Killing Intent, it's where the Killing Aura is condensed into a liquid and can be imbued onto a physical object like weapons.
Some people imbue it on their eyes to inflict Soul Damage to those who make eye contact with them. After Killing Intent comes Killing Energy, it's the crystallisation of Killing Intent and it's fused with either the heart or the Soul, it depends on the user. With Killing Energy, you can make a person go crazy with but a mere gaze, in its extreme, people can die by simply making eye contact with you.
And finally there is the Killing Concept, I don't know much about it but it's the fusion of Killing Aura, Killing Intent and Killing Energy. With Killing Concept, it's rumoured that you can suppress Souls or even enslave them, some say you can cause someone Meditation Deviation and others say most mental attacks like Soul/ Mind Reading, illusions and Body Possessions don't work. Once someone tries to invade your Soul, their head will explode.
All of these things combined are called the Four Phases of Intent Concept and it doesn't only apply to killing but also other concepts like burning, freezing, weapons, etc.”
“Grandpa, you've spoken so much but still didn't answer the question. Why is Bloodbath's Killing Aura different? And what exactly did he do?” said the granddaughter.
“Oh that. The reason why I said I don't know is because Bloodbath's Killing Aura is too thick like a cloud, not just that. He can also release it to his surroundings which doesn't make sense and he even used it to make everyone around him mindless killing machines that follow his orders. This should have been something possible only if he was using Killing Energy or Killing Concept. It's either the information gathered is wrong or there's more to Bloodbath than meets the eye.”
“Amazing!”
…
The few people who were stumped by the same question came to a similar conclusion, Bloodbath used Killing Aura but in a more diverse and broken manner. They even wondered how many lives Bloodbath took to even accumulate such thick Killing Aura and they came to the conclusion that he killed people because there were only two methods to obtain Killing Aura and accumulate.
The first method which was simple and direct was the killing method. The more people you kill, the stronger and thicker your Killing Aura. The second method needed one to obtain Killing Aura and accumulate it was to comprehend it which was extremely difficult and those who could do it were few and in between.

These two methods although reaching the same path had competent different benefits. For the first method, it emphasised on quantity while the second one emphasised on quality. A purer Killing Aura was much more powerful and more potent than an impure Killing Aura. At the same time, the more Killing Aura one had, the faster they could improve in the Four Phases of Intent Concept so quantity gave faster improvements.

Angy and Troy watched from within Angy's office which had a hidden window that could camouflage itself as part of the wall. They'd watched Bloodbath's matches from start to finish. Seeing Bloodbath's performance, Troy didn't know whether to be happy or else because he knew Bloodbath's real identity.
Angy was in the same boat as him. Her underground arena was trending on all platforms as Nolan had promised. They'd also had a massive increase in views which in turn increased the money the place was making but she was neither happy nor sad. Just then, she received a call from the Star Watch and quickly answered it.
“Greetings boss, I hope you're doing well today.” said Angy with an extremely respectful expression as she looked at the person on the holographic screen. He couldn't be seen clearly not because of the camera quality but because he was in a dark space so his features were hidden by the darkness.
[Fret not, I'm in a good mood today. Firstly, I'm very impressed by how you've been handling Freed Underground Arena over the years. And this Bloodbath that you recruited, good job. Tell me about him.] said the man on the holographic screen with a deep voice.
Angy then told the man about the deal she made with Nolan but didn't disclose the information that Nolan had written on paper but did tell the man about Nolan's real name and how he found them.
[Very good. For your hard work, I'm gonna give you three options. First option is a promotion for you and a job for your brother. Second option is that your brother receives full training from headquarters and third option, assistance in advancing to the next Star Realm. After choosing, you can redeem your reward anytime you want.]
Hearing her boss's words, Angy breath quickened, not just hers but Troy's too. Any one of these rewards was a great opportunity for Angy. Angy was so overwhelmed by this generosity that she didn't know what to choose so she forcefully calmed herself down.
“I'd like to have a few days to think about my reward carefully. Thank you boss for your generosity.”
[You deserve it. By the way, if you can manage to make this Bloodbath sign a lifetime contract with us then you can even receive all three rewards at the same time. Work hard, I see great potential in you.] said the man as he ended the call.
Hearing the man's words, Angy almost fainted from the shock of what she just heard. Any one of these opportunities would allow anyone to literally ascend to the peak in a single step, even a pig could become a powerhouse with these opportunities.
Troy was also ecstatic about this news but he still gave his sister words of caution because greed… sometimes fucked things up.
“Big Sis, don't be rash to choose. Although the benefits are enticing to a point of drooling, don't forget who we're dealing with here.” he said.
Looking down from her window, Angy could see a man with a mask playing in blood as though it was a swimming pool with corpses all around him. Just this sight alone was enough to calm her greed and pull her back to reality.
“Thank you.” she said.
“Don't worry about it, I'm just looking out for you, you're the only family I have after all.”
“I never expected that even HQ would be interested in him. Do you think that he'd want to work with us long term?” she asked.
“I don't know. He seems like the type who values freedom…”
“I see…”
“But he also seems like someone who wouldn't mind being under someone else as long as it aligns with his goals and is beneficial to his future. Just give him an offer he can't refuse and let's see how he responds. The real question here is, do you want to work with him? Surely you can tell that even among monsters… he's on a whole different level.”
