Countless Underground Shrews of different sizes rushed out of the collapsed hole in droves. Donar and Riri were overwhelmed by this huge number of Underground Shrews, especially Donar, who had been living on this planet for many years but hadn't seen such a large number of Underground Shrews ever.
‘Just how did he do it?!’
In Donar's mind, it didn't make sense. In his opinion, all Nolan did was play around in the tunnels and now he'd tracked the Underground Shrews all the way to the source, it truly didn't make sense.
“Donar, Riri, don't let even a single one escape, I want all of these Underground Shrews dead!” shouted Nolan from above. Receiving the command, Donar resolved himself to do his best in order to impress the Demonic Child and gain favour from him. We waved his hand and a bone whip with a snake’ skull appeared in his hand.
Whop-eesh!
With a single swing from the bone whip, many Underground Shrews met their demise and Donar just kept swinging and swinging, reaping many lives of the Underground Shrews.
Whop-eesh! Whop-eesh! Whop-eesh!
The Underground Shrews coming out of the hole were the weak Lowly, Common and Uncommon rank beasts. Riri on the other hand used ice magic to pierce through the Underground Shrews trying to run away. Both of them were very efficient in killing the shrews and didn't let a single one escape.
Much bigger Underground Shrews came out and these ones had grown some intelligence because they didn't just helplessly come out of the water filled hole to be killed, they attacked as soon as they came out. Sharp spikes made from the earth were conjured from the ground as they tried to pierce Donar to death.
Donar jumped up and sent a powerful whiplash that slammed hard on the spikes and destroyed them. Riri was the same, she suddenly lost her balance, not because she had tripped but because she stepped on empty space, lost her balance and almost fell to the pit of spikes that appeared on the ground.
Watching from above, Nolan was disappointed by the two's execution of power. They absolutely didn't know how to use their power, especially Riri who was fighting for the first time after gaining her current power. It wasn't just Rare Rank Underground Shrews but also Unique Rank Underground Shrews.
Donar continued with his killing spree but he wasn't annihilating the shrews like he had been doing the weaker one's and those escaping, Riri was having a hard time trying to stop them.
“Donar, that's not how you fucking use a whip! A whip is especially designed to control beasts! Control the shrews into running in a single direction which is towards Riri. And Riri, these are fucking Earth element creatures, use either the Water element or the Wood element to kill them!” said Nolan.
Donar did as Nolan instructed, he didn't kill the shrews but instead struck the ground in front of them.
Whop-eesh!
The cracking sound of the whip made the shrews very fearful and changed directions.

The shrews were quickly controlled by Donar and ran in a straight line path towards Riri who had been preparing a powerful spell.

The ground first turned into slippery ice, the shrews lost their balance and slided towards the second trap Riri had set up. Many vines lay in ambush on a hole on the ground and once all the shrews slided inside the vines, the vines turned into a net that caught them all. Then, a huge water ball was conjured by Riri and trapped all the shrews inside it where they were cut to pieces by the high pressure water that was very sharp.
“Now use Lightning magic to paralyze the Underground Shrews that have yet to escape from the overflow hole. Remember, your spell should be powerful because the shrews about to come out are a level above your Epic Rank Underground Shrews!”
5th-tier Spells were Riri's current limit since Spells also correlated to one's star realm. Hearing Nolan's words, Riri's eyes under her hood focussed as she opened her Third Eye.
[6th-tier Spell: Lightning Bombardment!]
Blue lightning crackled on her palms as she pointed at the overflow hole and dozens of lightning bolts came into contact with the lightning and disappeared into it.
Whoosh!
Enormous Underground Shrews floated above the hole and Donar quickly dealt with them with his bone whip that wasn't just fast but also extremely sharp. The killing went on for about thirty minutes before everything came to a conclusion.
“Donar, infuse your consciousness into your bone whip and use it to check if there are any shrews left deep inside underground.” said Nolan.
“You can do that!” said Donar while following Nolan's instructions. When his consciousness was infused into the whip, he felt like the whip had not only become a part of his body but also a second field of vision. The bone whip then became longer but thinner which was a complete surprise to Donar.
He'd been wielding this whip for a long time but didn't know about any of the functions that Nolan had told him about.
“How is this possible?!”
“Of course it's possible. Your whip is made from the bones of a snake and all snakes can become longer by stretching their bones and muscles. Now quickly search for shrews that are dead or paralysed inside and pull them out.”
“Yes!”
Donar's bone whip was like a living snake as it entered the hole and swam very fast like a snake. Donar could even see everything there like he was personally there. The whip travelled far distances but didn't find anything and just when he was to pull it back, he caught sight of a shrew stuck in a hole on the wall. The snake skull bit the shrew's leg and coiled around it, then Donar pulled the shrew out like a fishline pulling out the fish that bit the bait.
The shrew that was pulled out was quickly dealt with by Riri and everything had truly ended.

The corpses of the Underground Shrews piled up into a small mountain and made Nolan very happy. He then collected the shrews into his storage ring and the duo didn't say anything. They knew that if it weren't for Nolan giving them command on how to quickly deal with the shrews, the battle wouldn't have ended so quickly and easily.
It's a well known fact that a Unique Rank Underground Shrew is capable of manipulating earth in a span of thousands of kilometres. In some places on Tron planet, there were tall mountains that weren't naturally formed but created by the powerful skill used by the Underground Shrew.
[6th-tier Skill: Earth Spikes!]
If not for Nolan, the duo would have maybe had the chance of experiencing this powerful skill that could terraform the environment like it was clay. And not just from one shrew but many shrews.
“Demonic Child, do you specialise in using the whip? I beg the Demonic Child to bless me with more pointers, I'm willing to pay for your pointers of course.” said Donar sincerely.
“No, I don't specialise on the whip but I am proficient in it. As your pointers, there's no need to pay since I'll be giving them for free. Just do your best when the time comes.”
“I thank the Demonic Child for his generosity.”
“Since we've had a successful trip, it's time to leave this place. Donar, lead us to the closest city from here.”
