Chapter 16 Once More, the World was on Fire.
Of course, Risa didn’t just go to that estate to scold her now disowned father. On top of him now being at the palm of her hands, and at her mercy, Eric’s shares were swiftly given to the young CEO.
Barely into her 30s, Risa was now undeniably the richest women in the world. Even if the woman never sells any of her shares, the family businesses were almost endlessly profitable.
The dividends alone were more than most of what the 1% make in a year. Truly, Risa was world renowned, and most likely had tons of jealous people forcing their spiritual hatred toward her. Not that she would even begin to care about such irrelevant people. With 99% of the shares, she truly didn’t have to waste any time on Carter, but she couldn’t just leave it at that.
Clare: “My Lady, with your momentum, do not grow impatient.” She advised.
Risa: “Impatient?” She repeated with a raised eyebrow.
Clare: “Yes. With your current status, you could easily have your brother killed. But why stoop to his level? Take his 1% share fairly. Leave no opening for anyone to end your life through politics or crimes. In all of these years, you have put in so much work to not dirty your hands.” She explained.
Risa: “…”
Clare: “At the end of your long efforts, why soil your pretty hands? Let Carter meet his own end via his arrogance and stupidity. Once he is out of the picture, none can go against you, and none would even think to attempt such a thing.” She continued.

Risa: “…” “What an odd talk… Clare should understand my morals by now. Though, I won’t deny that I have thought about having my brother killed…” She secretly thought.
Clare: “At that point, Monia cannot escape you, ever. There won’t be a place in this world where she can hide from you.” She said with a smile.
Risa: “Ah, you’re right. Of course, I will keep a steady pace, same as always.” She promised with a smile.
Clare: “…” “Just as I thought… Now, the only way to keep Risa in line is… to bring Monia into the picture.” She thought with a long sigh.
Since she was now more than just the majority stakeholder of the family, Risa needed to attend a very important meeting at the company. As she sat on her chair, listening intently, as well as giving out order after order, Risa’s mind wasn’t fully present. Instead, she was just counting down the seconds until she could see Monia again.
Clare: “My Lady, please focus. Monia is a very particular girl, but you might be able to seduce her a decent bit via material things.” She whispered into Risa’s ear.
Risa: “I understand.” She whispered back, now fully present at the meeting.
Clare: “…”
If it wasn’t for her stern professionalism, Clare would have sighed out loud. Her Lady, who usually does her own thing, but luckily has a good head on her shoulders, was now almost completely focused upon one woman. “In a way, I inwardly apologize to Miss Monia. Even if she doesn’t like Risa, there is no way for her to escape…” She expressed in her mind with a wistful sigh. The meeting went on, and somewhere along the line, Risa partially focused back on the girl that she kidnapped not long ago. “The longer that I stay away from her, the more and more that I wish to hold in my warm embrace (captivity) hehe…” Risa thought with an evil tone while dishing out another order.
Sneeze!
Monia: “Is someone bad-mouthing me?” She said out loud with a raised eyebrow.
The Twins: “…”
