As I approach the silhouette of what I thought was a person, it becomes more clear. The fog reveals not man or a humanoid at all but a tall grey obelisk. The out side is quite grimy with dirt and slime covering it with some lichen and moss here and there. It is not even well made with uneven unfinished sides with groves going up and down and depressions that come from wear and tear. It is not just tall but giant. It is around as tall if two grown adult men stood on each other shoulders, how did I thought this was a person. Why would someone put something like this here. Is there some religious significance like the stone hedge in England. Since there is no one here to explain it, I decided to closely inspect it. There was not hieroglyphs or runes on it to show any insight on the culture who made this. There wasn't any manufacturing errors or even any signs of tool work. The materials may look like stone from a distance but actually quite spongey if you look closer. Some parts even looks like it was made of organic materials. Weird. I wish I can gain some appraisal skill or something like they do in novels.
Dungeon Tooltips - [Dungeon Tooltips] can peak into the [General Information] of the [Statuses] of anything within your domain, more information can be provided if the subject in question is under your influence.
Oh, you're showing your value more and more. So everything has a [Status Screen]?
Dungeon Tooltips - The [System] is what someone from your world would compare it to the concept of the Akashic Records. It records everything about everything. Your [Status Screen] is just a glimpse of what is recorded about yourself. You can only see it due to the [System] deeming that all entities have the right to access their own information.
Ok, now I feel a little violated. Anyway can you tell me about this obelisk.
Dungeon Tooltips - General Information
Name - N/A
Race - Grey Pillar (Prototaxites) Lv. 3
A giant mushroom that can be usually found in open areas that are not dominated by trees or other large flora, especially in fungal specialized environments. Has a large mycelium network reach and acts as nodes within other Grey Pillars to regulate nutrient supply and controls flora growth on the surface. Near constantly activating their [ability], [Spore Cloud], into the air.
Can be absorbed into your dungeon (flora over time will passively be absorbed since their soil will be filled with your essence) or consumed for [Stamina]

Oh so it was not a obelisk but just a giant mushroom. I never saw one this huge. A true wonder of nature. After reading the description, the fog that is covering this bog is probably the [Spore Cloud] [ability]. No wonder this place is called the [Spore Wastes]. You probably would die of a lung infection for just walking in here.
Anyway did it just mention I can absorb it, how. As I asked that, some kind of primal instinct in the back of my mind just appeared out of nowhere. Telling me one of the most basic thing a [dungeon] does. Once this happened, everything just clicked. All I have to do is spread my essence and corresponding energies into object or entity in question. For fungi like this, due to my elements aligning with it makes absorbing it easier, I just have to use a small amount of essence with a lesser amount of a mix of [necrotic energy] and [green lifeforce]. As I flood the Grey Pillar with my ethereal energies I felt the reach of it's mycelium into the peat, spreading far and wide, even larger than my total domain at that moment but it gets fuzzy beyond the edge. That was cool. I want to do it again. Did [Dungeon Tooltips] mention before I already have the template, does that mean I can spawn more. So I tried and as I did so another instinct told me all I had to do was visualize it as an image and place it in my desirable spot while filling in the required energies. Let's place one there and one over there and

Warning
You lack the required [Stamina] to create a mature Grey Pillar, if your still wish to precede a much immature version would grow in its place.
Do you still wish to precede?
Oh, it looks like I got a little too ambitious. I don't even need a Grey Pillar, it would not even help with my defense or anything. So, no thanks. Talking about templates do I have any more?

That is a lot. At least this time most of them I know what they mean or the are practically insignificant do you don't have to worry about me going over every single one. So, [Dungeon Tooltips], do you have any suggestions for which to start with?
Dungeon Tooltips - [Dungeons] naturally spawn items or flora, especially herbs, as it passively expands in the beginning. It is until later unless directly instructed to produce creatures. [Dungeons] usually would need to slay or fins another way for a beast or person to die in their domain to gather enough energy like [crimson lifeforce] to produce creatures but since you can produce you own [crimson lifeforce], even though it is a small amount, you gain a head start.
So creature first, I don't really have any flora or items useful for defense anyways. The best option seems like a Zombie, I assume the the indented options are evolutions so I don't think I would be able to fulfil the requirements of those without the previous form. I may not be a big fan of the undead, they're disgusting, and I assume it would be bad image if I encounter civilization but anyone who watched a zombie apocalypse movie knows how effective they can be. Plus every second without any form of defense is a second I can be harmed so Zombies it is.
